This review is only if you eat in: Don't eat here: It smells like a Homeless shelter in this place: it smells like pee and grime in here plus homeless people are all over this place usually outside. The service here is average and you can tell that the staff is overworked and properly not enough people to take care of customers. The food!? I'd say it's typical fast food and it hits the Spot you're starving: Just order your food to go or thru thd Drive thru unless you wanna deal with Crazy/insane drugged out homeless people and you wanna get stabbed! read more

I have been a fan of Jack and the wide variety of Speciality items, but.today I have to say the worst sandwich I have ever had at a Jack in the Box. Ordered a Philly Bonus Jack and the tun was squished flat. The taste of the sandwich was so gross that I could not even try to finish it. threw it away. Fries were almost none in the container. Jack, if this is what the new Philly sandwich is all about, stop selling it or you will lose customer read more

False advertising saying the spicy chicken strips were available and when I went to the drive thru the guy working there said they don't have them. Why advertise them on the site and at the menu fro the drive thru if they're not available. Absolutely lied to. read more

I was in the drive thru and had to take off my seat belt to reach the large drink being handed to me since the lady barely stuck her arm out the window to give it to me And the drive-through employee was huffing and puffing because it took me a couple seconds to do so. It's a Thursday at 7 AM. That wasn't needed. read more

Beware of scam. I ordered Spicy Popcorn chicken Big box combo with fry in the box but the order came without fry and the box was small. When I called to the store, they said they ran out of big box so they put to the small box???? And the fry was separate but there was no fry in my order bag. They cannot do anything else because this is online order. They wanted me to drive there to pick up the small fry, seriously, I don't gonne spend my time and gas for your mistake. They never fill the fries up properly! I've ordered large fries twice now and every time they gave me the same amount that would come in a medium or even a small. Man is this place slow like crazy slow. There drive throw always has a huge line You think you can beat it by going inside you got another thing coming. They took 5 minutes to get my order. I get it they are focused on the long drive through but man it's like; they just don't care about the customers at all. Then 20 minutes later they will give you the food. The food is just normal jack in the crack it's fine it's nothing to write home about But the service is SO SLOW like INSANELY slow; It's fast food not slow food. If u don't mind waiting u can get your crack on here but I tend to avoid it. read more

I've lived down the street from this Wendy's since they opened and honestly it's a hit or miss on the customer service and FOOD!! If the little friendly Mexican ladies aren't working you get rushed, cold food, incorrect order even if there isn't a long line. It's honestly ridiculous... Calling the store to speak to a manager won't do any good unless you want to argue with a random person who isn't willing to fix their employees issues read more

The cooks in the back don't know how to read English in a mobile order. Had to take my order back 3 times 1 day just to get sauce on my burger or chicken sandwich. Or to get the right kind of sauce. Or to get lettuce on it because they misheard "only sauce" and Idc how infrequent mobile orders are. If you mess up a order that many times in 1 day it's you that sucks at your deadbeat job. The manager was also rude too not being apologetic and blaming me for using the app. Whole staff minus maybe cashier needs to be reorganized. read more

If I can give this establishment zero stars I would. The place is nasty, dirty, trash on the ground, homeless people standing by the window begging for money. Then the lady at the window had no gloves on no hairnet. Scratching her hair and grabbing my fries with her hand to put it in my bag. I refused the food and just asked for my money back. My brother went there one night and found a long strain of hair in his burger. Don't eat there !! read more

I ordered 2 spicy chicken sandwiches with no cheese and a loaded cheesy bacon tater tot. There was cheese on both of the chicken sandwiches and they gave tater tots with cheese and no bacon. There has been constant times where we are waiting in the drive thru 30-40mins and no one speaks. So, we drive up to the window. In one instance, the worker has told us to drive back around. But today, this worker tried blaming it on us saying we were probably parked too far so she couldn't hear, but I was constantly saying hello so that she knew I was there. This needs to be fixed. read more

They gave me a jr. bacon cheeseburger without the bacon?... if it's in the name at-least put it in the burger make your orders right.

This Jack in the crack, has very bad customer service. The lady that has taken our order is always very rude and disrespectful. She also yells at you thru the speaker if you can't hear them. Another bad experience I had here was I ordered a large Oreo Shake and the same lady gave me a small instead of large, the other workers were asking her why she gave a small instead of large then she just tells me in a rude way that they don't have large and hands me a extra kids apple juice to make up for it. They seemed to be doing all the right things to protect the public and employees during this COVID-19 crisis. There people are polite and the food is prepared fairly quickly. However, the quality is hit and miss. Today, I got three overcooked egg rolls. Which is sad because I love their egg rolls. The other day I bought an oreo shake. They didn't bother to stir in the crumbled oreos. It was just clumped in the middle. I mean, I get it - working fast food is a thankless job. NOT EVEN WORTH A ONE STAR RATING!!!! Came for a late night snack. Went home and my sandwich bun was burnt so I went back and got a new meal and it was burnt again so I went back ONCE AGAIN! She was making a big deal that I came to get a refund after she had another coworker come to the drive thru window to tell me that the food always comes like that. Why would you sell ANYBODY BURNT FOOD???? I immediately asked for my refund and after I got my refund she snatched my food out my hand and slammed the drive thru window in my face. My kids love Jack in the box so we went after basketball game at night around 9 pm to this location since it was the closest. I don't know who, how, and why, but there is laxative in the sprite that we bought with our #1 medium meal today. The sweetness tasted funny and familiar but I couldn't remember what it was at the time. I took few zips and I don't know how much my son drank. I had diarrhea twice at night and still feel like going again, so I asked my son if he had diarrhea and he said yes earlier... and OMG at that moment i remembered what that taste was... the laxative I drank before my colonoscopy exam. You have to drink couple of liters to empty like crazy and I only drank few zips today... laxative in soda is evil. Everyone be careful. If your soda taste funny, toss it! The Jack in the Box on Tennyson in Hayward is run by disgusting filthy people. My food was burned and everything loked old and out of date. They don't speak English and cant get an order correct. I heard about this place in the newspapers many years ago for whatever reason. Anyway, I don't remember much from that meal except that I only ate half of my burger and threw the rest away. I am beyond disappointed in this store! Typically I don't post reviews but I wanted to share how sad my experience was. They order taker couldn't get my order correct she asked me to review the screen and my order wasn't too difficult just two teriyaki bowls a breakfast sandwich and kids meal. It took longer to make sure she added the second bowl but she wasn't getting it and the drive thru line started getting long where other cars were honking and yelling at us. It's not my fault the order taker couldn't understand. As I pull through the drive thru the cashier took my money and told me to park and come inside to pick up my order. I told her I couldn't come in but she gave me attitude and told me I took too long to order and I caused them to have a rush they have to attend to, as if my needs weren't important. I couldn't come in because I'm temporary handicapped and cant carry my order with my cane. So she shrugged me off and told me to wait in the parking lot and she'll bring it. The whole time I waited I can see them staring at me and laughing they made me feel so bad about myself for being unable to grab my food when THATS WHAT DRIVE THRU's are for. I waited for her to bring my food so I can settle this issue she had with me but she sent someone else to bring my order. Not only was my order not even correct, I didn't get a receipt to call a manager. Hoping someone can reach out to me from here to get this resolved read more
