I can see how every sugar addicted American could love this place. I found every single thing I…read moretried to be too sweet, including the reaper rub. Service was pretty good, about what we expected; and the atmosphere was as advertised, bright colors, loud music, lots to look at. HOWEVER! if you like sweet with your hot, this chicken is well marinated, fried extra crispy and cooked to perfection. the crinkle cut fries are fantastic, crisp on the outside and still soft inside, dusted with a seasoning that, for those who like sugar, would be great. I highly recommend this place to the right customer, that customer just isn't me.

I absolutely "cha-cha'd" to the counter...LOL Some of the employees do not speak good English... a young lady came from the back to assist me. I ordered the shrimp tacos (grilled). These were cooked to order. You get 5 free toppings and after that, they charge you. I got yellow rice, black beans, red cabbage, shredded cheese, and pico. I asked if I could have the taco sauce on the side. Didn't realize that (taco sauce) is "considered" a topping, so I was charged extra. I asked for a side of guac.... didn't realize it is $4.25 - I posted the 'size' of the guacamole in my pictures. ( I'm never doing that again.) I asked after buying how was the guac, the lady didn't lie, she said that she really didn't like their guac ‍ - I should've asked prior to paying. All in all, I got 3 grilled shrimp tacos with a side of guacamole for $20. I'll try something different next time.

The seasoning had a unique Mexican-inspired flavor that really set it apart from the typical chicken sandwiches you get everywhere else. I haven't had a chance to try their other chicken yet, but after this visit, I'll definitely be back. If it's anything like the sandwich, I'm looking forward to it. One thing that really stood out to me was how clean the restaurant was. I even noticed the staff cleaning behind the counter and in the back while I was there. It's always nice to see a restaurant that takes pride in keeping everything clean. Great food, friendly atmosphere, and a very clean restaurant. I'm glad I gave it a try!

I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, a side of beans, and a drink. The sandwich was okay--nothing bad, but nothing that really stood out. The beans were actually pretty good and may have been the highlight of the meal. The only thing that surprised me was the price. The meal came to about $14, which felt a little expensive for a fast-food lunch. Overall, it was a solid experience with good service and a clean restaurant, but the food and value probably wouldn't have me going out of my way to return.

Pay at the register. Don't forget to tip, the servers work hard as there is normally only a few on hand and they have to serve the dining room, the parking lot/walk up window, and a robust carry out business. If you're interested; Kidds is still an old fashioned drive in so if you want service in your car they still do it but give them some extra time. They recently added a walk up window which I prefer as it's faster and easier. The food is diner food and pretty good for most things. I love the burgers here but some people don't. They are thin patties so don't be afraid to get a double if you're hungry. The cheese dog is something unique and great also. Otherwise the diner style plates are all pretty good.

White fish and shrimp basket IS filling for a lunch meal. The shrimp are plump and delicious! I'm not that big of a fan of white fish because there's not much flavor. There's kept that true for me.
