Kidds has been here a long time, a lot of people have been coming here their whole lives. It's a very local kind of diner so if the place is full; feel free to share a seat with someone - this is normal here as the dining room is small. Cash only also; they do have an ATM. Pay at the register. Don't forget to tip, the servers work hard as there is normally only a few on hand and they have to serve the dining room, the parking lot/walk up window, and a robust carry out business. If you're interested; Kidds is still an old fashioned drive in so if you want service in your car they still do it but give them some extra time. They recently added a walk up window which I prefer as it's faster and easier. The food is diner food and pretty good for most things. I love the burgers here but some people don't. They are thin patties so don't be afraid to get a double if you're hungry. The cheese dog is something unique and great also. Otherwise the diner style plates are all pretty good. read more

Best Hot Dogs EVER! I love their famous hot dogs. I also love their Carolina Burgers with yummy fries and kosher dill pickles. I've been going their since it was Muzzie's and I was 16. I'm 69 now! It's got to be a record for the food to be popular for so long! The service was great. You could go inside and eat at a table or at the bar, or just park out front and honk your horn once for very prompt curb service. They had a jukebox inside and of course we had our music on outside so the ambiance would take you back to the TV Show Happy Days. Kidd's has been a place that my family had eaten at for the last four years. This is your local diner that sells the usual hamburgers/hot dogs/chicken wings, etc. If you're looking for fancy - this is not your place. But if you're good with sharing a table with a stranger or someone you know, you'll have a nice meal with good conversation. They're still cash only, and they have the ATM inside in case you didn't come prepared. The food comes fast, which works great for my littles. They have table and counter seating, although both are limited. Yes, we come here to eat, but a whole star of this review is for the company you have while eating. It might be a church member that you know, or some of the family from the Homeland Creamery down the road, or just a local person who you find out serves in the Honor Guard, but the company is always good at Kidd's. read more

This place has been around for a very long time. More locals and regulars go to the place. The food is decent and some days better than other. Some of the staff is more polite than others. I will say with the inflation their prices have changed. Still not that expensive and you do get a big portion. The fries are usually soggy but other than that. I've never had a bad bite lol. Quick, affordable meal. Cash only. During COVID-19, they are open for dine in and take out. None of the employees are wearing masks. We were driving through the area and stopped here for a quick meal and to use the restroom. We ordered a salad with chicken tenders, coleslaw, and a pimento cheese sandwich. We used the bathrooms (convenient, but dirty) and then waited for our meal at the bar. Our order was quickly prepared and was accurate. We enjoyed the meal. The sandwich was full of pimento cheese. The salad was made with fresh ingredients and topped with thin pieces of crispy chicken. Although we enjoyed the meal, we likely will not return due to the location and the non existent mask policy. read more

The food here is decent for comfort food. The prices are very reasonable. It's cash only, so be prepared. There is an ATM inside of you didn't bring cash. The people are ok. Some are nice. The only thing I have to complain about is getting out of their parking lot. You either back into the highway or park in the adjacent lot. read more

Kidd's Drive In has been a staple in the Liberty community for decades. They serve a little bit of everything, even salads for those on a diet. Sub par cheeseburger joint at best. Great prices but the burgers are very small and not very flavorful. However most of the locals around Liberty love this place, however I have not been able to join the bandwagon. I prefer to make the trip to Siler City to get a great burger. read more

Kidd's is great for simple, well-made food from down home. We sat with Mr. Kidd for a few minutes; he has been there for 46 years and knows everyone who comes in the door. What a great place! Came in strangers, left feeling almost like family. read more

Dirty restaurant...fly swatter sitting on the counter. The food is not very good either.

Just so you know stay away unless you like food poisoning. If you order a chili cheese dog they'll bring you a hot dog bun with a log of cheese that tastes like it went bad a week ago. The service is the only thing you'll find good here. I've been to some nasty mom and pop shops but this one takes the cake.
