I ended up settling on one scoop of carrot cake and one scoop of Mackinac Island fudge. The carrot cake is quite possibly the best ice cream I've ever had in my life and I've eaten hundreds of gallons of ice cream. The portions were generous and the flavor was out of this world. The Decour on the outside is charming. They have one of the historic buffaloes with the mural painted on it which is cool for Instagram photo opportunities. They also have a putt putt golf course! It is such a safe little outdoor patio area that I could see this being relaxing to parents to get an ice cream and a drink and sit down and watch the kids play putt putt from the safety of a table. It is well lit so I think it could even be an evening activity if you wanted it to. Down about two blocks there is the coolest courtyard where there are picnic tables and they have overhead Edison lights. This could also be such an awesome date night where you go down to Famous Monsters pizza, possibly stop with your date and dance under the outdoor beautiful patio and then top it off with some ice cream.
