This morning my daughter went inside the store with a ice tea (brought from Sam's Club) Mr. subway guy tired to accused her of stealing.. she offered to let him feel that it wasn't cold. Have not been happy with any Subway over the past few years , especially since the pandemic began. And I just saw a commercial tonight for Subway that made me both laugh and almost cry!! The sandwich on the commercial looked incredible, but I only wished the one that I picked up on this past Thursday (2-17-22) looked anything close to the depiction on their ad!! I have to admit, that if I did not have a small balance on a gift card($2.09), I would have never have gone in and wasted my time there, but as I was at the Jewel right around the corner, I thought why not. Sandwich: very little meat, stale bun, condiments very sparse ; ex. Black olives- maybe 7??, tomatoes- unripe, lettuce- wilted, communication skills with counter person- almost nonexistent(language barrier?), and so forth! So sad!! The subway in the Brickyard Mall at 2620 North Narragansett is one of the worst ever! Their customer service is horrible and the owner is rude and they are very stingy with the veggies which half the time look rotten. This Subway had different owners a few years back and let me tell you he sold his restaurant to a person who doesn't care about the customer food service is an industry that is very difficult and he has it all wrong! Terrible service I knew the manager before and I got great service went in today and I guess it's new management. The guy told me to hold on when I walked in and was ready to order while he was texting , he took my order and was literally throwing the stuff on the bread . Then when I checked out the chip was reading my card and it said do not remove and he was like you can go now and was really rude . The Restaurant: Medium sized. It is a pretty clean place, even when it is snowing or raining. From the looks, it has been updated; either that or the owner takes pretty good care of the interior. The workers: Very nice. I've been to this location a few times and never was someone rude or unwelcoming. Food: The vegetables are fresh enough. The problem is that they do not put nearly enough vegetables on the sandwiches. I understand wanting to add some portion control elements, but this location takes it to another level. Overall: As mentioned above, I've been here a few times. While a well kept place (especially considering the area can get pretty busy) they need to put more ingredients on the sandwiches. On a side note, I once went there about an hour before closing with the intent to eat in the restaurant. After paying, the gentleman working there that evening politely told me that I couldn't stay because it was a slow day and he was going to close early. Horrible customer service. We ordered 2 six inch sandwiches. Guy kept asking about adding extra cheese, extra bacon, cookies, like trying to sell the whole freaking menu. When he was getting the sandwiches ready I realized he was preparing 3, so I told him that I asked for only two and he said "I got you, I got you" so I didn't insist. When it was time to pay, he brings and charges 3 sandwiches. Politely I said we wanted only 2. Apparently we made the mistake because they got really upset and disrespectful. We had our sandwiches at the store but we felt really uncomfortable because the whole time this 2 guys were looking at us non stop. We will never come back. Horrible experience. read more

I'm sorry but I never had the worst experience ever [at a subway]! I went today and the woman making my sandwich was a straight up b****. maybe I'm being a little harsh. But I came in all happy and smiling, trying to be nice -- I worked at a restaurant [i know a lot of people say that - but i did!] and never had I done what she did. So I'm ordering, and I ordered 3 foot longs, strike one -- "you're not using a coupon are you?" in the rudest way. I said, "no, i'm not but anyway ...." and she goes, "good! 'cause the coupon wouldnt cover this sandwich" I was like "it's fine". point is that throughout the whole process she kept pointnt out that it was going to be expensive and if I was alright with it and that certain things would be extra. I'm a Latino woman and I din't know if she was being like that because I'm hispanic or because I'm young -- excuse me whoever I maybe she has to respect me and treat me fairly not judge. I am not really sure if this is near The Brickyard, but if it is be careful! I went to this location about maybe 2 years ago. I went with my father and his girlfriend. So when my stepmom ordered she ordered a dark bread, I don't know what it was called. So when the girl was serving it, the bread was breaking. So my stepmom asked her why is it breaking? The girl said "oh we'll it does that when it's old." LIKE WHAT WHY SERVE A CUSTOMER OLD BREAD!? So my stepmom tells her if it's old I don't want it and she asked for a new one. The girl said ok. So when she reread our order, my stepmom said "yeah but not the old one" and the girl says "I know I heard you!" After that my stepmom got really mad but she kept calm so when we got our food we said we want it to go. When we got in our car my stepmom said "I shoulda slapped her" I would give it a 5 star if the service wasn't rude and the food wasn't old! read more

excellent service by the way,but the reason why I am giving it a neutral rating is because there is one employee who jokes way to much that same person tried to short change a regular customer out of a dollar was not pleased today. there was also the time I wanted to buy 1 cookie,but they sold me 2 for a dollar which is a bargain but they refused to sell 1 cookie individually becouse they told me it was already charged. when i know suways sells cookies for about 68 cents each. I did not want to fight them that day so i let them take advantage of me that day.
