There were also other parties in there that I didn't get a chance to even get too but there was a cinnamon roll and some pastry with strawberries and crème in the middle. 10/10 will definitely have to come back and get some more pastries and goodies

After I chose a seat, they brought out my breakfast croissant on a paper plate. I wish the cheese was melted, but the sandwich was really good. The croissant was impressive-it tasted like I was back in Paris. It just felt like I was in my hotel lobby having breakfast with all the paper products. I opted for an assortment of to go pastries to try--almond croissant, lemon blueberry scone, and coffee cake. They were all pretty delicious, except the scone. The coffee cake was the best. I will be back!

It just kind of gave me a weird vibe walking through a convenient Mart to get to the deli. Very busy convenient mart. Parking is very limited due to the gas station out front and business next-door. The food was great, but the setting and accessibility wasn't as great as the old location. I will definitely be back again maybe for a takeout order though.

I decided to stick with the day's special, a "Bestie" corned beef sandwich for $11.95. Service was good but it was clear that they need more staff for lunch time. Was it the best deli in all of Ohio? It was absolutely excellent but the lunch special might leave you still wanting more. I recently placed a DoorDash order at Doubleday's Home Plate…read more Doubleday's Home Plate offers a variety of food options. I elected to get the Ooey Gooey Smashburger and an order of fries. The smashburger consists of two smash hamburger patties topped with American cheese with cheese sauce between the patties. I added pickles on my sandwich. The burger was cooked well, in the typical smashburger style, and was very cheesy and delicious. The fries were good. The order came in a plastic container. Not quite eco-friendly but it kept the food warm and fresh. I highly recommend this establishment. My order was filled quickly and my DoorDasher delivered the order quickly. I like having different dining options and this is one place I do intend on visiting again.

Now, they are basically based at The Famous restaurant which too has gone down hill in quality of food. I had made an order last night after long day of work (work a hour away), and the order was wrong and high priced for the portions. The fish was not a good portion like it was previous and did not even give me tartar sauce with fish. I was not aware of change of location to Famous Restaurant until I made the order and had to drive out of my way after long day at work. Management had refunded me money which was appreciated, but I would say that maybe they should just add this menu to The Famous Menu or to the Doubleday locations and close the doors and concept of this restaurant.

I had an order from Dayton Street Eats delivered recently and the experience was really good…read more I ordered The American Cheeseburger and the Street Fries. Order was delivered really fast and items were packaged carefully in a brown paper bag. Some white paper napkins came with the order, a pickle wedge wrapped in a plastic bag, and a small container of what looked like thousand island dressing sauce (presumably for the cheeseburger). The American Cheeseburger is two all beef patties, with American cheese, lettuce, ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, and some sliced pickles. Presentation was really good. The burgers were fried well done! The American Cheeseburger tasted very good! It was a little crispy along the edges. The pickles tasted a bit spicy. It's a really good burger and the price was reasonable. The Street Fries came in a paper cup and were well seasoned and fried perfectly. I used the container of thousand island sauce for the Street Fries since American cheeseburger already had enough condiments on it. The thousand island sauce is a little spicy but not too bad. I give Dayton Street Eats five stars. Delivery was prompt, food was fresh and really good, and the price seems fair considering similar fare at more mainstream establishments would probably be more expensive but with no greater quality. Highly recommended and I would patronize again!
