The sandwiches were generously sized and provided a great lunch for everyone attending. Judging by the fact that there was nothing left at the end of the meal, the class clearly enjoyed it. I have to start out by saying I'm not a huge hamburger person. Now, with that being said, Five Guys…read moreMay have changed my mind. I ordered a double burger with ketchup, mayo, mustard, lettuce, and tomatoes. I also ordered a small fry. I love the fact that they peel and make their own French fries. They are a little on the greasy side, but I just put them on some napkins and ate them from there. Back to the burger. This had to be the best burger I've ever eaten. Fresh is all I can say. The staff there go beyond any staff I've encountered in a fast food restaurant. So kind, so polite. I asked one of them if they were always friendly and happy like this and his reply was "yes, seven days a week"! He smiled the whole time he waited on me. That means a lot to me when I'm paying for a meal. The fries were tasty with ketchup and malt vinegar. Oh and they have peanuts, to munch on before your meal is ready. (You pick up at the counter when they call your number) Just to clarify this is the Five Guys located on Washtenaw in Ann Arbor. Go try it. You won't be disappointed. Update review:Terrance, the manger, waited on me today when I went in. He was just as nice and polite as all the other employees I've had wait on me. I hope he gets something special for being such a great role model to his employees!

My fav here is the Cajun fries - spicy but still tolerable served hot with loads of grease (didn't you know fat tastes good?!? Yum) Cashier and crew are usually upbeat and helpful. I like the variety of the subs and the three sizes because unlike other sub places you could take your kids and get the small size or if you aren't as hungry you could make that choice for yourselves. My son was impressed with his meatball subs and the meatballs were huge. I can't recall the name of his sandwich right now. I was impressed with the engineer subs, I never have seen cooked mushrooms at a sub place. I really like their pickles and the always popular coke freestyle machine. The combo also allows you to choose whatever size drink you want which is good also. I like that they give a free medium sub for certain names, they have drawn my name before but this location is not close to me. The service was good and the restaurant is decorated with fire house type decorations.

Ducked off in an off the road plaza sits this delight. Upon entry we were greeted by a very nice young man who was cleaning and sanitizing tables(bonus from me). Menus are pretty simple, food was moderately priced, and service was prompt. It was mid week at around 2pm which made me a bit skeptical because they had no other customers but that didn't stop us from ordering. I order a chicken shawarma and hubs ordered I believe the chicken sandwich plate or something along those lines. Both of our food was delectable!!! All the flavors paired well together and the light garlic sauce was not overwhelmed with garlic flavor which I appreciated.. no one wants to burp garlic all day.
