They are closed Sun., Mon. And Tues.. There are these amazing iced sugar cookies, fudge, brownies, cakes, pies, cheesecakes, muffins, scones and little baby pies. Then if you want a savory bite they have that too, we did and it was delicious. Friendliest assistance, extra personable. Picked up a cookbook to give these recipes a spin in my kitchen. Thanks!!!!

It was not far off the highway. We were greeted by a very cheerful young lady at the cash register. We told her we had never been here before, so she said that meant we would get a free sugar cookie. Nice! They did have breakfast sandwiches. I had an everything bagel with egg, cheese and sausage. My wife had a scone with egg and cheese. We added coffee. There was no place to sit inside, so we sat on the porch. It was very comfortable. Our friendly young lady brought us our sandwiches plus the coffee pot to fill our cups. Great service, plus a very tasty breakfast sandwiches. The sugar cookie was iced, so it was sweet and good. What a terrific place to stop on our long journey home. We were glad we did!

My wife then went to the restaurant the day before to confirm and once again instructed to place L/T on the side. My son picked them up and we found that the lettuce/tomato was already on. We were instructed to pick them up at 11am and we were going to refrigerate until the 1pm lunch. We called to ask if they could remake and they agreed to do so. My son once again drove 20 min down there but they would not give him the remakes without him bringing back the wrongly made order. We were not told that or we would have gladly done so and not waisted a total 40 min drive for my son. I then had to make the same drive again with the previously made incorrect order. The mistake shouldn't have happened but it did. I accept that but my big complaint is with the manager on duty. He lied to me twice in about 30 sec. First he said that when my wife ordered she didn't specify on the side. ( she went down in person so they didn't mess it up which they managed to do anyway) Second he said that she was told to bring back the old sandwiches to get the new ones. He absolutely did not mention that. I can't stand a liar!! The right thing for him to do was to give my son the correctly made order and accept/ admit that it was their mistake. I should not have had to also make that drive to return some now soggy sandwiches. By not doing they lost my future business and also the group we were feeding. The rest of the employees were nice and apologetic to my son and myself which was appreciated. The manager could certainly learn from them. The customer is always right is not what I believe. But if you messed up and they are right you should certainly go over and above to keep their business

I was a little happier with my blueberry muffin than I was my Cousin Vinny. I wanted so bad for the sandwich to taste like an amazing Muffaletta because of the ingredients, but it didn't blow my mind. Still, it was fine. It was disappointing that they were out of chicken cutlets because several of the sandwiches had that as the critical ingredient. But I would go back to explore the cutlets and their various Italian mains (lasagna, meatballs, etc) if I am ever in Nelsonville again.

It is in an attractive, small storefront in the historic downtown area. Although there is no indoor seating there are chairs outside . Upon entering, you'll be greeted by the wonderful aroma of freshly baked breads and treats. Directly in front of you is a case filled with delectable goodies - assoted varieties of cannoli, tiramisu, lemon bars, New York cheesecake, strawberry cake roll, chocolate cake roll, macaroni, and more!!! My husband had the Chicken Parmesan sandwich on foccacia and I had chicken with pesto, balsamic glaze, mozarella cheese, & tomato on occasion. Both sandwiches were HUGE and one alone could have easily fed both of us! We each raved about our choice - delicious, tender foccacia, generous amounts of high-quality fillings, all with the perfect blend of seasonings. Service was friendly and efficient. If at all possible, we will definitely stop by on our way back north. 10/10 (actually more!!!). A definite must-stop!

The outside is so cute and the patio is nice; also has an accessibility ramp. The inside is also adorable. Lots of seating options. There is a table with stools that runs the length of one of the walls. We found seats there. Totally random, but I brought a cooler full of breastmilk to give to my sister, and you were able to tuck that under the table and one of the employees was kind enough to fill several gallon bags of ice to help us keep it cool. You order at the counter and they bring your food out. I got a Buddha bowl and my sister got a Caesar salad with chicken and we split an order of loaded potatoes. My bowl was really good, but I wouldn't order it again because the dressing was oddly pretty sweet. I guess would eat it again with a different dressing. My Sister salad was a good size and she absolutely loved it. The potatoes were pretty good. Would eat them again! There were so many delicious sounding things on the menu that it was hard to choose, so I look forward to going back for more. We also took a strawberry croissant home to our little sister. The parking lot is huge, so you'll have no issues finding parking. It was a super hot day, so we couldn't sit up there, but we checked out the rooftop patio. I would love to eat up there during the fall!

The menu was nice and diverse, something for everyone. Two of use got the Thursday special, meatloaf and the other two, fried chicken. The meatloaf was spot on good. I ordered mashed potatoes/gravy, and cabbage/green as sides. The potatoes were good but the gravy could have been seasoned a bit more, but still good. The cabbage and greens were very tasty with a good smokiness from bacon. A little bit of acidity would have put this over the top, and again, still very good. The fried chicken was cooked perfectly with a nice coating, not greasy at all. The staff were great and the restaurant itself was simple but nice and clean. Prices were fair. I highly recommend stopping at this humble little restaurant for some good home cooking.
