If you've never been in Arvin, you'd probably miss this spot. It's not fancy by any means, some might even say it's divey. The place is tiny with a few tables and probably mostly patronized by local residents. The server was quite nice and she made sure to replenish items from the hot plate like buffalo wings and pizza. The salad bar was lacking but at least this place actually had some veggie options. There was barely any mustard on the sandwich amplifying the burnt taste and the pastrami was dry like it had been cooked way to long on the grill. The fries were alright, they were hot and fresh and the price wasn't bad but that pastrami needed less cook time and the bun needed to be re-done, there's no way they didn't notice it was burnt when putting the pastrami on it. Disappointing experience for the most part, probably won't stop by again.

The service was great on this day. There were hardly any customers inside the restaurant so I chose to dine inside rather than taking it back to the office. No complaints today.
