I've been to this location on a few occasions. I love that they are black owned and open 24/7. I typically order the strawberry stuffed donuts. I also was able to try the maple bacon donut which is only available on Saturdays. Both flavors are absolutely amazing and I highly recommend. On the last time I visited, I ordered the strawberry ones and i noticed once I got home that they actually did not have any strawberries in them. That's the only reason I knock off one star. First of all Peach Riesling ice cream! It's so so good but it should maybe have a 21 and up only sign with it because that Riesling hits your taste buds hard lol. I ordered the kit Kat, German chocolate, and red velvet doughnut. All three were mouth watering. We came after 9pm on a Saturday and it was a little busy but the line moved quickly. This place is small and intimate with limited seating but it was cozy. I liked the overall feel it felt like a doughnut shop in someone's home. It is absolutely delicious and like the name implies, it is a sweet pastry filled with a mixture of fresh strawberries and a custard-like vanilla cream filling. The exterior of the donut is coated with powdered sugar. I have also tried the orange dream star, which is another good one. This donut is in the shape of a star. It is covered in an orange glaze and filled with a citrusy cream. Overall, the donuts are good but very sweet. I swung by for some doughnuts and loved the vibe of this place. Cute seating and family friendly. You will find home Simpson and other fun doughnut art everywhere. It was a quick process to pick and purchase doughnuts which were all 2 to 3 dollars. They had some special ones not on the menu. We tried the oreo, maple bacon, and butterfinger. I do think that having the doughnuts sit out prevents it from staying fresh. None of ours were soft or fresh but they also weren't hard. I've had many specialty doughnuts and none of ours truly stood out. The maple bacon needed more bacon and couldn't taste the maple. The oreos were on the stale side but if you like sweet things, the filling was very sweet and matched the oreos well. The butterfinger one was one the plain side as you couldn't truly taste the butterfinger flavor in contrast to the doughnut. Service was friendly and the doughnuts are a good price. I recently moved to the area to start back to school and saw that this was located right off campus. I looked into it and saw that not only is it a black-owned shop, but the owner is also a Navy veteran. Being a veteran myself, I thought this was cool! The shop is open 24/7, which is convenient, and was fully stocked when I came in. It was clean and very clearly labeled for social distancing with markers of where to stand on the ground. The staff was friendly and answered my questions about the flavors not listed on the menu. The fresh strawberries and cream donut was my favorite. I was expecting a super sweet cream, but it isn't! It's a perfect contrast to the sweet strawberries and powdered sugar covered donut. The orange cream donut was filled with the same cream and also very unique! The only one I didn't care for was the red velvet cake donut- it was kind of bland and didn't really taste like red velvet to me. We are definitely fans of Sublime Doughnuts after hearing so much about them. Highly anticipated, we decided to run errands and finish off our evening satisfying our sweet tooth. This joint is located in the heart of mid town (near Georgia Technical College) heading towards Northside Drive in a small plaza on the right. We expected for the sign to be a bit more unique, but " Hey we're here for the donuts" so we didn't let that change our outlook on going inside. Excited enough, we found there was a limit of the amount of people allowed inside due to the pandemic so we paper scissors rocked it out to decide who'd going inside. Peezy was our lucky winner! lol Lets get to the Juicy Stuff! There were so many donuts available we decided to go with the nine donuts for $25.00. First on the list was the almighty S'mores donut. Oooweeeee this baby was delicioso ! Perfectly dressed with gram cracker crumbles around the donut with chocolate and cream in the center. Two of these babies and you'll kindly be scheduling a dentist appointment. Next on the list we chose the Reeces donut. Nothing but sweetness here as this baby taste identical to a Reeces out of the wrapper. Very good if you are a Reeces peanut butter lover! Our next choice was the classic "Kit Kat" donut. This wasn't one of our favorites, but the plus about this choice was the fact it literally had chunks of kit kats around the top which made it taste like the classic kit kat. Followed by the fresh strawberries & cream donut to offset how much chocolate we consumed we enjoyed this surprise more than the others we had chosen. Real strawberries made this donut taste like we were at Cheesecake Factory. Easily a Must try for first timers! Now the next option we never even considered trying until the ladies at the counter suggested it. * Drumroll please* THE SALT & VINEGAR* donut. Surprisingly this donut taste nothing like salt & vinegar. We expected salt & vinegar chips but got the total opposite. It had more of a fudge chocolate taste in fact we tasted no type of vinegar in this baby. Veryyyyy Verrrry tasty. We snagged up a chocolate banana fitter which tasted like edible arrangements. Not to bad, but not something we'd get again. Next up was a specialty strawberry donut which tasted like identical to strawberry sugar wafers! If you know then you know. This immediately brought us back to childhood and we became instant lovers of this donut! They had speciality donuts the day we visited and guess which donut we had the pleasure of tasting? The fruity pebbles donut! Excited enough we grabbed it and ate it in the car. Tasted like cereal with milk and it put us in the mindset of a cereal bar. It was pretty good but entirely to sweet for us. Lol definitely a good tasting option. We then purchased the red velvet donut which was standard red velvet nothing special and a bit smaller in size than the other options. All in all after eating so many sweets its safe to say we won't be needing anything sweet for a while. During a trip to the ATL, my wife and I came by for a quick breakfast on July 4th at around 10 AM (Yes, they're open 24/7, even on Independence Day). This wasn't a random trip, but instead a planned doughnut pilgrimage based on trusty old Yelp and Google. There were just a few people inside when we stepped in, but during the 40 minutes we were here slowly enjoying our delicious doughnuts, there was a consistent stream of foot traffic, ironically runners from the Peachtree Road Race. Their menu consisted of a whopping 30 donuts to choose from and if any of the trays of doughnuts goes empty, don't shed a tear yet because you can bet they will refill it shortly after. Besides the Fresh Strawberries and Cream, we also ordered an A-Town with Mocha and Chocolate Banana Fritter. To be honest, both of those donuts were average and probably a bit on the sweet side and if I were judging Sublime just based on those doughnuts then my review would be completely different, but the star of the show really takes them over the top. To be specific, the Fresh Strawberries and Cream is the perfect combination of 2 pieces of a donut with fresh strawberries and whip cream in the middle. It's basically a strawberries and cream doughnut sandwich. It's so simple, yet so brilliant. It wasn't too sweet either and actually felt kind of light, if you can describe a doughnut that way. After we finished the 2 other doughnuts and the strawberries and cream, we couldn't help ourselves and, you guessed it, ordered a 2nd one when a fresh batch arrived. Besides doughnuts, the small shop also has ice and hot coffees and also teas that will go along with your doughnuts, but no other non-coffee drinks, except bottled ones, so that was a downer. Many people typically joke that Krispy Kreme contains crack, but I honestly believe the Fresh Strawberries and Cream here actually does! It's the greatest doughnut I've ever had and is absolutely worthy of being a bucket list doughnut, if there's such a thing. read more

Been coming to Sublime for years (both locations) & I'm usually satisfied. I prefer the 10th st location just cause it's a little more prepared for a rush crowd. I go hard for some chocolate so I usually get either the toffee or the Reeses. However, the croissant one holds it down if you're not in a chocolatey mood. They have a decent selection available for everybody. They are pretty sweet. So if you're into a more cakey donut this may not be your type of dough, but I still recommend giving it a shot anyway. read more

There are some inventive flavors and sublime doughnuts is an ATL favorite, however if I'm being honest, the doughnuts are just O.K. I really wanted to love them but I'm afraid I just didn't. It feels like they are trying to come up with wacky flavor combos (ex.sea salt caramel with balsamic vinegar) but when you try that one, all you taste is caramel-boring!
