First time been to this lovely chic modern cafe and must say I'm well impressed. I didn't have a thorough look through the menu as I was with a group of friends, but as far as what I saw they seem to do quite a few home-made and home style drinks and meals. I saw they put together their own unique flavours of frappes and cold drinks, as well as the traditional sorts. The breakfast menu had a good variety. There were old favourites like bacon and eggs with choices of mushrooms, hash browns, home-style baked beans, and smoked salmon, served with crusty fresh bread. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Brekkie and it was absolutely amazing. I asked for extra mushrooms also. All the elements were freshly done and tasted delicious. I don't know how they did it. There was avocado sauce on the side of the plate, which had an extra zingy taste about it which was just amazing. It was a well satisfying dish. My only criticism about my meal was my poached eggs were hard'ish. My co-diners had the same with their poached eggs also. So perhaps if you desire runny poached eggs I would mention while ordering. I would recommend Sublime cafe to anybody out there looking to try something new. It's a fresh looking cafe with modern comfortable seating areas and fresh delicious meals. Well recommended.

Wouldn't recommend. The coffee isn't great and the food takes a while to come out. Much better places in the area.

Dear Daisy, I'm…read morewriting this review to you today to let you know that I very much appreciated your hospitality today over lunch. You are so lucky to be set in such a beautiful little neighbourhood, so close to the industrial train lines but tucked away amongst all those cute Goodwood cottages. The cute embroidered chair cushions and large wooden tables was a nice detail you added to my lunch experience. Although your prices are a little bit more than your standard cafe, the choice you provided was great for lunch. And you must have known I'm a fan of an all day brunch too. My coffee was smooth and lunch of citrus smashed avo on rye with smoked salmon and fetta was fresh and zingy. My dining partner's pulled pork bun with potato salad looked lovely too. Thank you for friendly and speedy service. I look forward to catching up again soon. Best wishes, Chloe

Imagine the excitement coursing through my veins when a brand spanking new cafe (with all the…read morehipster/trendy trimmings) opens up 5 doors down from my house, and dearest Daisy, you passed my expectations for a local with flying colours. Dear Daisy occupies the space left by the Leah St Deli and is right on the tram line next to the Forestville tram stop next to the hairdressers. I've popped in and out of here a number of times for coffee and have been most satisfied with smooth flat whites and spicy long blacks and am always pleased with the sparkly service and cheery staff. The menu here is catered to the breakfast/brunch crew (all day breakfast, huzzah!) but Dear Daisy is developing a great lunch menu. The selection features all your standards for brekkie and lunch has a mix of wraps and rolls as well as some great specials (pulled pork buns, zucchini fritters anyone?) and over the past week since its opened I've seen the menu change and evolve. Lunching here I had a pulled pork bun with coleslaw with potato salad on the side, the pork was soft and tender and the potato salad had pickles (yay!) with yumminess all round. Pricing is quite reasonable and on the cheap side for the Goodwood area. Really looking forward to getting round to breakfast here and with 7am opening on the weekdays, I'm thinking a post night duty pick me up breakfast treat is in order!

Suburban cafe hidden on a side street off a main road? Check…read more All day breakfasts? Check. Chef with a dessert loving fangirl population spanning most of Adelaide? Check. This is Chef Quang's new venture after he shut the doors to his Devour Dessert Bar in July earlier this year and it's starting to make me wonder why he didn't explore savoury any earlier in his career! Now any chocoholic out there knows how good Devour's desserts are smokin' but trust me when I say that his breakfast menu is one to make you swoon. From bircher muesli to a multitude of eggy delights there is something to suit every brunch muncher. Don't forget to check the specials of the day either! My dining companions excitedly devoured corn fritters with salsa, baked eggs and a steak sandwich but I knew I had won the food envy stakes that day with my poached eggs on rye with smashed avo, mushrooms and pesto dressing. Eggs were perfectly cooked and everything was fresh and filling with the perfect bread to egg-goo ratio. Coffee lovers will find 5 Senses here and cold drip, filter and more if you fancy. Service is incredibly quick and direct to your table and the atmosphere is light and not too busy (yet). And for all those dessert fangirls out there don't worry, these guys are now shutting at their cafe at 4pm everyday and re-opening as a dessert bar from 6pm every night.

The best thing about Kurralta Park by far!…read more Super friendly service in a lovely atmosphere with great food that's fresh and funky but not at all pretentious. 'Big ups' to the guy with the glasses and the Blondie that work the weekends! I doubt I will stay in a Kurralta Park next time I'm in Adelaide because it's a bit of a hole but I'd make a trip over to have smashed avocado at F&F. At the moment Yelp is asking me to put some mustard on this review which is funny because I always love having mustard with my brekkies. There was no problem with this and they happily supplied me with extra condiments; seeded and Dijon. That's about all really. I don't know how much mustard I can possibly put in without it all turning into a review about mustard. The juices are amazing! Go to Froth and Fodder. Now I've apparently taken this review's pants off. Pretty soon it'll be naked. I'll end it here.

Thankfully the place is far enough away from the shopping centre so that retail hell has no impact. Being pretty hungry after a late night this was the perfect place to come. The smashed avocado (see pic) was sensational for this purpose (as well as on the eye) and the accompanying long black was pretty OK as well. Along with fast service a pretty good experience on an early workday morning. Price is not on the cheap end, but at least the quality and service match up. Looks like I might be turning off the well beaten track more often....

Loveon Cafe has only been open since about September 2013. Tucked away in Mile End in Adelaide's…read moreinner western suburbs, they recently they placed a small A-frame sign on Henley Beach Rd which brought the cafe my attention. The sign just had the words "Loveon Cafe" and an arrow pointing left (turn left down Victoria St when coming from the City). I was intrigued, but it earned the cafe a new customer. This is marketing at its simplest and most effective. Getting to Loveon Cafe is easy. Being off the main drag means parking is simple, plenty of street side parks. Walking towards the cafe, you are welcomed by a row of neat, small potted plants and the outdoor tables. Inside, the cafe is big, open and spacious. Small tables, big tables and benches. Sit where'd you like, grab today's paper. There is a fresh juice bar, a selection of sweets at the order table, cold drinks in the fridge, and lots of tasty menu items cooked from the kitchen. Sitting outside is lovely as its real quiet. You can sip coffee, chat and read the paper in the sun on the outdoor tables. A few cars driving around, but thats it. The owners of Loveon Cafe are Bangladeshi and once you examine the menu, you can start to see the influences come through. I chose to try Bagla'r Promise from the breakfast menu. Its a small potato curry, some dhaal and two poached eggs on top served with chapati. I was pleasantly surprised to try something really different for breakfast. It tasted great, was a decent size, the poached eggs were spot on and it went well with my coffee too. The lunch menu looks like great value too with lots of options to choose from. I didn't try the fresh juice, but that is definitely on my list for next time. The service was great, the staff are really friendly. Although the cafe probably needs a fly screen on the entrance doors. If you're looking to check out a new cafe for breakfast or lunch, you can't go past this little hidden gem in Adelaide's inner western suburbs. Check it out.

When i walk in, i instantly see & feel a sense that this place has a community vibe to it. There is a mothers sectons where there is ample space for prams and mothers to sit and have coffee, there are about 20 seats available outiside and about another 20 inside. I ordered a latte and a salmon and eggs breakfast. When i sat down, i was given a water which contained many citrus fruits, herbs, apples and pears. its the little thing for me i like, but, it makes the water taste amazing. When i recieved the latte i noticed something about the spoon, it was a special looking promotional spoon for the Thebarton Bowling Club. When i questioned it they said that organisations  donate the spoons as per request of owner. When the salmon arrived, i was served it and the waiter then proceeded to grate the pepper on top of the meal, again its the little things. The salmon was on top of a piece of rye bread with spinach and pouched eggs with a minty, peppery sauce in the spinach. I would highly recommend this location for a business meeting as the community feel and the ambience of the venue is fantastic.
