Devour used to do amazing desserts so I was a bit disappointed when they changed to breakfast and lunch. Don't worry though, there is still the odd dessert night that has lines out the door. We decided to brunch there for a friend's birthday. As good as their desserts were, their savouries lived up to expectations. They had the portions, flavour and presentation all done right. Eggs were perfectly poached, every ingredient tasted fresh and the flavours worked well together. Their corn bread gets a special mention for me because I like corn bread but I actually ordered the smashed avo with mushrooms and feta. Generous serving just how I like it! Another special mention goes to the ham hock which tasted great. I can definitely see why they are still so popular! Now to look out for their dessert night.

This place, this place is perfect. I wouldn't know where to start?! * Seating arrangements was spot on, not crowd at all. * Noise level, what noise? Perfect. * Menu had a great and cheap selection of breakfast, brunch, lunch and drinks to choose from! * Service also spot on and quick with meals (took longer to actually decided what I wanted, so many yummy choices!) * Portion size is massive and fulling! The only seriously thing I can complain about Devour Café & Patisserie that it isn't closer to home, it actually a 45 minute drive for me but as a Yelper it's amazing enough for me to go the mile to eat this amazing food! I ordered the Eggs Benedict and a hot chocolate and it was a perfect brunch. Happy to leave Devour Café & Patisserie with my stomach smiling. Love it, keep up the amazing work as I'll be returning very soon! Shout out to Sarah A for finding this amazing café, mwah!

Another great venture from the guys at Devour. Their new cafe is nicely layed out with a relaxed feel. As always their coffee is amazing and one of the best you will get around Adelaide. Tried the banana layered cake along with the lemon tart. Both of them tasted great with nice textures that make you want to go back for more. Check it out if your in the Richmond area and if not then it is well worth the drive.

Malteaser milkshake!

Amazing. All the desserts are just amazing! I am still trying to work out how they get the popcorn milkshake to taste exactly like buttered popcorn! The honeycomb and malteaser ones are pretty good too. But I am in love with the chocolate panna cotta with peanut butter ice cream *drool*

Returning back here on the 29.04.16 for dessert night, our group arrived about 630pm before opening time at 7pm and we got the big table. It was great we didn't have to line up outside and the placed filled up quickly. By 7pm, the late comers had to wait outside in line while we enjoyed our desserts. This time, the cafe had a few seats outside for their potential customers whom were happy to wait outside and the waitress quickly took our dessert orders. I ordered the honeycomb thickshake, very smooth and sweet, full of ice cream, the only thing was missing were the bits and pieces of honeycomb. I ended up choosing the 'Banana Cake, banana sponge, white chocolate mousse, caramel banana ice cream, toffee popcorn, popcorn powder, and popcorn ice cream. What came out was a well presented dish, there was only one scoop of ice cream, it was the caramel banana ice cream, it was delicious. I don't know what happened to the popcorn ice cream, unless it was a typo on the menu. The banana cake and sponge was absolutely devine and blended well with the toffee popcorn. There were bits of popcorn powder around the plate, it was very decorative on the plate. There wasn't any white chocolate mousse however it was replaced by caramelised banana, which added a different texture to the plate. I loved this. Yummy! Thumbs up! I can't wait for the next opening and see what creative desserts they have. If only I had room for 2 desserts, or I hope one day they make a tasting platter with smaller desserts. Overall, thumbs up!

I have heard so many great things about this place. I am glad that I finally made it here. Great service and a very unique presentation. We ordered coffee, fries with aioli and a cake. Needless to say we were blown away with the simplicity, exceptional taste of the food and the coffee combination. I will definitely coming here more often.

I have visited on a number of occasions in various sized groups and also 1:1 and I have loved it…read moreeach and every each time. The menu is large and interesting enough with not too many "generic" options except the ones you want such as Chocolate Fondu for 2 or 4. I had a Banana, Peanut Butter, Cookies, Vanilla Custard, Creamy concoction in a jar which was topped with icecream very very delish and beautifully presented. My companions had waffles, ice-cream and a yummy chocolate and berry mousse/pudding. All were very pleased with their orders and there was a lot of "would you mind if I had a fork full?" going on. Coffee and desserts came out all together and our table was cleared in an appropriate amount of time after we had finished our plates. Being a group of 6 is probably a little too large for the small outdoor space on the sidewalk with round tables and various chair heights, but we made it work. The only down side to this spot is that the coffee is "good" not "awesome"

Luckily, a table had just left, with a quick clean of the table - we were seated. Decor - Candles! I love candlelit places at night, the chairs were also quite comfy, some places which have the same modern/sleek vibe to it like this place, have uncomfortable plastic or metal chairs, but we were seated in comfortable cushy bliss for your butt! We ordered - I had the Cherry Ripe Waffle and one of their 'house specialities' the St Louis Hot Chocolate' Waffles: I have to admit I was disappointed in the waffle, this is what pushed it down to 3 stars rather than 4. The waffle was warm, but it tasted like it had been reheated, or simply defrosted and stuck in a microwave. It wasn't crunchy or fresh, the texture was chewy and dry. I chose this dish because it mentioned white chocolate and almonds, it was presented on the plate, but the white chocolate tasted like melted white chocolate buttons from the local supermarket, too sugary and it hard almost hardened when I tried to scoop it up to put on my waffle. The 'French Vanilla Ice Cream' tasted distinctively like Bulla Vanilla ice cream. The cherries, and cherry glaze were delicious though. The Hot chocolate: Average more or less, it was a good hot chocolate, but I've had better in most other places, for a house special, again I was hoping for a bit more, but I might be a little harsh here, as my friend said he absolutely loved it. I'd order it again if I came here, and that is usually a good sign. They had free water available for patrons, in the water was such things as citrus; oranges, lemons, lychee, and strawberry, I thought that was a little fancy. It was a nice touch to the place. If I came here again, I'd avoid the waffles completely, as they were sub-par. But the venue is a nice place, with a positive atmosphere. Why no white hot chocolate? This makes me sad.

The Coffee Bean Shop is where I purchase my Mexican Organic coffee when Ross the boss has it in…read morestock, which is most of the time. I've caught him out once or twice. When that has happened I do try other types of coffee from his available collection, but mostly it's the Mexican Organic I go for. Ross and his team have a very good range and even though it is an expensive item, some things in life just have to be right before I can deal with them. I do not like the effects of instant coffee on my system, I almost always end up with a stomach gripe if I drink instant coffee, and you simply don't want to know about that. So I usually drink plunger coffee, it is one of my special things in life I suppose. As far as The Coffee Bean Shop goes they stock a range of implements to create coffee in - mostly the little Italian stove-top espresso jugs, but I tend not to favour them because they are made from aluminium and I understand that too much aluminium heated and exposed to something you then drink can cause some brain function problems over time - just something I read that has stuck. That's why I plunge, but you know, the occasional aluminium jug espresso coffee is no big deal. They do the grinding for you if you need it done, and they use a range of coffee packets that are a nice plane brown bag, so its a pretty sustainable system. Their selection of products includes some pre-ground coffee beans in little plastic pails with a lid, a variety of fragrant and tasty teas, blends of the tea, and the coffee and tea making equipment I mentioned above plus other stuff and some specialty sweets that you'd have with a beverage, or give as a gift - try a chocolate coated coffee bean - wow!

I am happy to see that this stall got updated as it is often one of the first stall you see when entering the Markets from the carpark escalators. The staff at this stall are always very friendly and happy to have a chat about the different varieties of coffee and what they taste like. You will find some amazing beans from all over the world. In particular my partner and I are quite fond of the Organic Mexican beans. Full flavour while being quite creamy and nutty. If you have a tighter budget, why not try their house blends. They are not too bad, the espresso blend is probably the best they offer in that range. If you need ground beans, they will grind them to the style that suits your brew equipment. We prefer to grind them at home to ensure that the coffee is fresh. If you are searching for a gift for a coffee lover, look no further! Purchase them an Aeropress which are sold here. They are a single cup air pressure plunger. They make the perfect brew away from home. My partner loves his and uses it at work every day!
