The one technician said it's common for new homes to have their furnaces used with no filter whatsoever and based on the condition of my furnace, that's exactly what it looked like they did. I can't even imagine what would have happened if I didn't have the cleaning. I have never seen a filter so dirty in my entire life! How the furnace was even running should be considered a miracle!!!
