I received a call today stating that they never received payment for a service that was provided in August 2023, even though they did receive payment for another location that was serviced on the same day. This was due to them not writing down the correct email for the second location. I do understand that mistakes can happen and that payments are necessary to run the company. However, the way the office manager spoke to me about the payment was very unprofessional. It felt like she was the owner of the company. Due to this, I have decided not to call them back for any of my seven locations in Des Moines. I read on Yelp that "72 is about creating and developing relationships with our customers by providing superior service". However, this is not how they can build a relationship with customers. I have been working in customer service for the past seven years and I have never encountered anyone who has spoken to me in such a manner. I just hope that the owner, Kendel Richlen, reads this and takes action to improve his business for future customers.

But this is just offensive. And they charge you $99 just for showing up, so you're caught in the trap that if you don't hire them, you lose $99. Frame of reference: $368 is roughly equal to what the average American household earns in a WHOLE DAY. (Note: I'm in Des Moines, although my Yelp location shows me in San Francisco).

They showed up an hour and 45 minutes later and unclogged the sink. They didn't look at anything else - not the garbage disposal, the dishwater or the pipes. I wanted to know what the cause of the clog was. They didn't offer any helpful tips of how not to have this happen in the future - nothing! They were here for 2 minutes and charged me $117.

After calling several plumbers I was left dismayed until I called Des Moines Drain & Sewer. I could not get a specific time when they would arrive, but at least it would be the same day I called. I cannot say enough good things about DuWayne and his crew at Bryant! I was left by my home…read morewarranty company with a furnace with a cracked and dangerous heat exchanger with no ETA. I contacted Bryant and DuWayne the owner was out same day to take a look at what could be done and how quick they could get a new furnace. Upon his inspection the vents had been done wrong in the house causing the crack in the first place as well as our AC was far too small. (I mentioned we had issues with it the past summer) He got us on the schedule right away for just a few days and made sure his guys brought us a few space heaters to keep us warm in the meantime. The guys were super professional when they came, they covered all flooring with cloth and treated me and my family with such respect and caring at getting things done the right way. They arrived right before 8 and were done with everything by evening. They all worked so hard to make things safe for me and my 18 month old son. We were able to set up financing and get the peace of mind that it was done right and was safe and we no longer had to worry. The new system runs so quiet and is paired with a Smart Thermostat that they installed. Again I cannot say enough praise for Bryant Ankeny, it's no wonder they have won so many awards! They deserve them all! Thank you Bryant Heating and Cooling for taking care of me and my family and doing an amazing job!

When the blower engine on our Bryant furnace went out, they confirmed the part it was covered by warranty. The warranty also covered "up to four hours" to replace the part, and the repair tech said that yes, it would most likely take a half day to install. But then our estimate for labor was $1,855! This is f-you pricing at its worst. We ended up paying thousands more for a new furnace, but you can bet it was not from Bryant.

This time we had to wait several weeks for an appointment but it was not an emergency so we were ok to wait. Turns out our appointment was scheduled for the first day of the June heat wave. Shortly after Mark arrived, he showed us that our blower capacitor needed to be replaced, giving us a bunch of technical measurements that I did not understand at all! However, since our unit is somewhere between 8 and 10 years old, a replacement part did not seem out of the question and our total bill was about just over $150. What I appreciate about Greens is that you are given a time window, called when you are the next service call and called again when the tech is on the way.
