On our first visit, I had the Beet and Feta Salad with Grilled Salmon. It was fantastic, and one of my favorite meals of the entire trip. The salad was extremely fresh, with greens from local farmers. It was the best lettuce I've ever had, and when I tried to find out what kind it was, I wish told it was spring mix. It didn't look like any spring mix I've ever had, but it was such sweet, delicious and crunchy lettuce. The beets were also great, with both red and golden varieties. The salmon was cooked absolutely perfect. My dining partner got the Duck Confit Tacos. He did not care for that for a number of different reasons. In the first place, it should've been served on a different type of plate, as it was very messy and most of it was falling off the very narrow plate. He doesn't like a lot of mess. It likely would have been better had they left all the toppings off, to add them as you want them. There was way too much on top of the duck, which buried the taste. It was impossible to pick up, and very difficult to eat with a knife and fork. Plus they added too much cheese, and he doesn't like cheese much. It was not a dish he would order again. On our next visit, I had the Seafood Linguine. It came packed with fresh seafood with lots of mussels. It was a very generous portion, with plenty to take home for another meal. My partner had the grilled burger, which he quickly devoured. He said that was one great burger! On our next visit, we stopped in for a late lunch. It was a dreary, rainy day, and the weather was on the cool side. So we opted for soup. My partner got the Clam Chowder and I opted for the French Onion. They both hit the spot. My partner loved that burger so much, he ordered it again. I opted for a Grilled Veggie Sandwich, which was not as good as my salad choice a few nights earlier, but it was OK. All in all, we enjoyed all three of our visits here. I'd be happy to return again when in the area.

They had a decent selection of beers, and what we tried was pretty good. Nothing I had was quite at the level where I was immediately thinking about buying a four-pack to take home, but everything was enjoyable and well worth trying. For me, the atmosphere was almost as important as the beer itself, and this place definitely delivered on that side. The staff were also very welcoming. Our bartender outside was particularly friendly and talkative, and it made the whole experience feel much more personal. I always appreciate that at a brewery. You don't necessarily need a lengthy conversation every time you order a beer, but having someone behind the bar who genuinely seems happy to talk with customers makes a difference. They also serve food, although we didn't order anything during our visit, so I can't really give an opinion on it. We did hear good things from other people there, though, and there seemed to be plenty of folks enjoying the food along with their drinks. We really enjoyed stumbling across this place and would definitely come back, especially with some friends. I could easily see spending a summer afternoon here with a few beers, some food, live music and a group of people. I had to rush back to my vehicle before paid time ran out, parked about half a mile away on Endicott Street. I headed over to Meredith and enjoyed my sandwich out on Town Docks lakefront which has ample free parking, unlike the overcrowded Weirs Beach area. The Traditional Chicken Cut Sandwich/Sub was actually two sandwiches, so the pricing seemed appropriate. The semi thick chicken cutlets were nicely breaded smothered my marinara sauce and melted provolone cheese of chewy Italian bread sub loafs. I would likely try the American Chicken Cutlet Sub next time, which has American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and mayo. We normally go brewery hopping, but if the town we're staying in has a winery, we make a point of stopping there too. So we ended up here for one very specific reason: we wanted to sit down, relax and try a couple of wine flights. We didn't do the tour and we didn't order food, so those aren't things I can personally comment on, but the wine experience alone was excellent. I did the white wine flight and my wife went with the red, and we were both genuinely impressed. Neither of us likes wine that is overly sweet or syrupy, and these were exactly what we were looking for. The wines had much more depth and character than I expected, with robust flavors that made the flights fun to work through rather than simply tasting like different versions of the same thing. My favorite was the House White Reserve. I could have happily sat there with a glass of that for the rest of the afternoon. The service was probably the biggest surprise. Our server took the time to explain the wines and answer our questions without making the experience feel overly formal or pretentious. That's important with a tasting. I want someone who knows what they're talking about, but I don't want to feel like I'm taking an exam before I'm allowed to enjoy my glass. We were made to feel completely comfortable, and even though we ended up staying later than we originally intended, nobody rushed us out the door. We sat outside on the front patio, which made the whole afternoon even better. There was live entertainment while we were there, with a gentleman playing guitar and singing, and it created exactly the sort of relaxed atmosphere you hope to find when you're away for a long weekend. Good wine, comfortable outdoor seating, live music and nowhere we particularly needed to be. That's a pretty good combination. Our only real regret is that we didn't order food. We've heard a lot of good things about the eatery, and after seeing what was coming out of the kitchen while we were there, I definitely wish we'd planned for a meal. We were focused on the wine flights that day, but next time we're coming back with our appetites as well. I really enjoyed this stop. The wine was excellent, the service was outstanding, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the whole experience felt like exactly what a winery visit should be.
