I have a 7 year old black and Puerto Rican daughter who was due for a trim. For one of thee best hair-cut experiences I have ever had has to go to Marquis at Stylist Supreme. I called around Oceanside, CA to find a barber shop that would be open by 8. Even though nobody answered when I called, he responded to my phone call within 2 mins. Marquis was EXTREMELY accommodating to my needs and vision of how I wanted my hair. He also helps with his own wisdom so I didn't have too much hair cut or left on the sides of my head. I have consistently had compliments on my hair. Very accommodating and fast. I randomly had the urge to change my hair at around 4pm on a Saturday. I had received Marquis' information and proceeded to inquire about an appointment. He told me I could come in immediately if I wanted but due to my tiny dictator (2 year old) it turned into a 7pm appointment. Not only was he accommodating with appointment times, he was also quick. It is extremely hard to find someone to do ethnic hair. When I found Marquis I was extremely happy to finally find someone. He is extremely thorough with the entire process. I now go every 2-3 weeks for regular appointments. I highly recommend and everyone in the shop is extremely friendly to all! Zero stars if I could....Marquis is not a supreme stylist. Upon my arrival, he exhibited unprofessionalism and multitudes of profanity while describing my hair. I am shocked that he could not use an educated sentence to describe my hair. Additionally, the salon was filthy...Dirt and residue everywhere and it was unsanitary to be seated underneath a dryer next to two trash bins.
