The shop is small and only has Isabel as a stylist (or you can see Anita for threading or waxing, too --the two ladies share the workspace), so I would recommend calling or making appointment ahead of time to avoid not getting seen/disappointment. Isabel is kind and is a great conversationalist. It's great caching up with her about life. She does remember her clients as well (I know this because she mentioned specific info about me everytime I stopped by!). She even remembered roughly the last time I stopped by her salon too! Prices are really reasonable for a haircut (she does shampoo my har before the cut, too). I know she also offers coloring too but I've never done that yet with her. Overall, highly recommend Isabel and I plan to continue going to see her as long as I live/ remain in the Boston area.

I was told that Chris was "14 minutes away" which was unfortunate, but I figured I'd wait since I'd heard good things. 30 minutes after my appointment time, Chris still wasn't there. The disrespect for my time was something I've never experienced anywhere. Being late alone is a problem, but at least let me know you're going to be 30 minutes late so I can cancel or grab a coffee. The receptionist was really friendly, and I'm sure they do great haircuts based on other reviews, but the lack of professionalism and respect will make me never go here again.

There's no pretentious atmosphere that I find most hair places have, which is a welcome change. The stylist did a mini consult to ask what I wanted and what the occasion was, and I explained my hair is thicker and can be frizzy. She was great and really friendly. I went in wanting advice on how to manage my hair and also to cut it short for the first time. I scheduled a 2 hour curly cut with Sarah. Sarah was more than knowledgeable when it came to giving me advice on my curly hair. She listened to what I wanted and was looking for, and was also able to give me tips on what she thought was going to be best. I gave her full control and told her I'd trust whatever she did and that was the best decision! Sarah and everyone in the salon was so welcoming and friendly as soon as I arrived. They offered the many drinks and snack they have numerous times and were always making sure I was comfortable and had what I needed. I could not have had a better experience! I HIGHLY recommend. I will definitely be going back the next time I'm in Boston and am looking for a hair cut!!!

Kayla, Rachel, and Emily also did my sister and two teen cousin's hair for the wedding and they were great. None of my family lives in the area so they were all meeting for the first time day of and all the stylists made them feel so welcome and gave them the styles that they'd hoped for. They all looked so good! I don't yet have photos of them but I have my sisters big disco-waves in progress. She showed them a picture of Barbie in the opening dance number and Emily delivered. All of these haircuts, wedding hair trials, and wedding day events were coordinated by Justin who is a dream to work with and made everything go so smoothly. Love this salon, will keep coming back!

He put so much attention into my hair, specific issues, how it had been colored in the past, and I ended up with what I think is the best color I've ever had! My 20 year old daughter was with me and she agreed. Really beautiful highlights, toner, and treatment for my damaged hair. The cut was equally great. It's always nerve wracking to find a hair stylist in a new city and trust that it's going to work out ok, but Olti absolutely exceeded what I thought I might be able to find. Plus, he is a super chill and kind person to hang out and talk with. Ralphie the Frenchie who hangs in the shop was an added bonus. Definitely recommend making an appointment here. Admittedly, I'm a guy, so not the most complicated haircut lol. But I wouldn't drive 30 min one way otherwise. Easy parking the the OKS Cinema indoor lot across the street, and with a chaser ticket from MK, it is only $5 (not $30+) for 3 hours, so time enough for a haircut and a meal with friends who work nearby.
