NEVER!!!!! In the last six months the service and quality have been HORRIBLE, and Yet I kept trying because of the long relationship I had with Island Nails. Today was the LAST time! They completely messed up my nails and what I asked for and Island Nails admitted they messed up and it was their mistake YET they charged me for their mistake! I questioned them and they again admitted it was their mistake but they still charging me for something I DID NOT ask for or want! They woman in charge even came over and apologized and said it was there fault and she was sorry. Ok, then why am I paying for YOUR mistake? There are nail salons in every shopping center, every corner, today Island Nails made it clear that being a loyal customer means nothing and they would rather loose a customer over $40. Bye!

This place is nice. But they prioritize rushing and doing it fast than doing a good job. My…read morepedicure I loved, great treatment and attention. I liked that they put a timer for the massage. But my mani was horrible. Very rushed. Didn't check first with the shape before she finished. Next time I'll remember to check. But she didn't give me what I asked. Then she messed up my thumb. It was all bumpy from the first time she tried fixing it by painting over and over it but that didn't fix it you could see the visible bumps. That nail broke within a week and color started peeling off. It's not even 2 weeks yet and my nails are already chipping and color is massively peeling off. I'm used to shellac lasting me 3-4 weeks. This is the least they've ever lasted for me. You could have thought they were just regular manicure no shellac. No attention to detail or professionalism. Didn't like Mimi. Pedicures were great! Wish I would have gotten her name.

I don't usually write reviews, but I feel like I need to warn others about my experience here…read more I came to this salon in November for a pedicure with Kim. Shortly after that visit, I started noticing inflammation, pain, and irritation around my toenail. At first, I thought it was just temporary sensitivity from the pedicure--but it never improved. Fast forward to now (March), and the issue has still not resolved. After looking into it and dealing with this for months, it's very clear that I developed a fungal infection, along with ongoing inflammation around the nail. This has been frustrating and honestly upsetting, because something that was supposed to be self-care turned into a long-term issue that I'm still dealing with months later. I can't say exactly what went wrong during my service, but I would strongly encourage this salon to take a closer look at their sanitation practices and tool hygiene. Situations like this shouldn't happen. This place is beautiful if you choose to come here, but please be cautious and pay attention to how tools are cleaned and handled.
