My Jaguar got side swiped in a parking lot and I wanted to see if it needed repairs with body work or if it was something that could be buffed out. I came in without an appointment and without hesitation one of the employees came out and assessed the damage and then had his "paint specialist" look at it too. After rubbing out the surface scuffs it was determined that there were some superficial scratches that they immediately took to the back and buffed out. I expected to be charged a fee for their services, when I inquired what I owed I was told that they were happy to help and that I didn't owe them anything!! Not only is Stuttgart the only factory-certified auto body repair facility in the state of Colorado approved to service Mercedes-Benz, but they're also the only shop I could find that had the ability to accommodate the size of my Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 van. Yes, they are expensive. They are. But, in this case, you get what you pay for. And, they only use OEM parts. They also work seamlessly with Mercedes-Benz of Westminster--which worked out really nicely when my A Service was due while Stuttgart had my van. This really helped me out. Specifically, Justin Ruthruff, the Assistant Manager, was a real pleasure to work with. He was professional and super responsive, while at the same time, down to earth. Stuttgart Auto Body saved our Christmas. We were on a cross-country trip from California to Indiana to visit relatives we haven't seen in six years. While in Boulder, CO during a strong storm with 80mph+ winds, our Mercedes Sprinter door got blown wide open, the door hinge and body panel was bent and would not close. We thought our trip was ruined and we had to leave the van in CO and fly home. The local Mercedes dealership recommended Stuttgart. Since this was an emergency, Tony was able to take us in right away (a normal full repair is probably a 3 months wait due to parts shortages). Rob (I think I remembered his name correctly) the technician was able to bend the frame back into shape and get the door to close properly. This was a temporary repair and the door and body panel will still need to be replaced when I get home to CA, but this repair was so well done, and the door opens and closes so nicely, I couldn't even tell it was damaged. Tony was also very helpful in giving us advice on how to deal with the insurance company. Thanks to Stuttgart, we were able to continue our trip to see our family and their new born baby for Christmas! I recently took my Mercedes into Stuttgart for work which was to be paid through another person's insurance. Throughout the process, the communication between Justin at Stuttgart, the insurance carrier, and myself was continuous while trying to find the best solution for me. It required a lot of understanding and professionalism from Justin, especially for a repair that could have been perceived as low value. However, I never felt like my 13 year old Mercedes or I was undervalued or neglected. The quality of customer service and quality of shop is evident when you step in the door at Stuttgart. I love Stuttgart. They have done work on two of our Mercedes and are always top notch. They take care of everything and I've never had to worry. I am especially thankful for their service as my truck is currently at another body shop and dealing with them is PAINFUL. They gave us back the truck with engine codes, alignment off and are unhelpful in rectifying the situation. I think I've dealt with Stuttgart at least 5x and I never knew body shops could be difficult, because they aren't. Go here. A guy plowed into my car while I was at a red light. Totaled. First time that's ever happened for me and Justin at Stuttgart was more helpful than anyone I've spoken to during this process. I thought my insurance people were helpful but he provided so much more insight on what to do, how the process works and useful tips. Overall we had a good experience with this body shop. The work they performed was top notch and my wife and I were very satisfied with the end result. The staff and techs go out of their way to make sure your satisfied. The only thing we really questioned was that the car (Porsche Panamera) had 33 miles more on it than it did when we left it. Five stars is not enough. I have had my 1960 Mercedes 190sl rejuvenated twice by Stuttgart. Several years ago, an accident caused by a drunk resulted in my insurance company totaling the car. The insurance company deducted the salvage value from the settlement, and I kept the car. After stripping the car inside and out, the only thing that arrived at Stuttgart (Denver) was a naked body and frame with wheels. Two months later it came home looking brand new, although it took me five years to put it back together! I finally got it on the road again last year, but my inattention resulted in an ugly dent in the right front fender. Stuttgart (Arvada) to the rescue again, and in short order it was looking like new. This is not a car that can be repaired by plugging in new panels. All the work Stuttgart did involve cutting out damage sections and welding in new or reshaping damaged metal to its original appearance. The paint work was flawless. These guys are amazing. When I picked up the car, I told John (the owner) that I really love their work, but I hoped it would be a long time before I saw him again. If your special car needs body work or painting, you can trust Stuttgart to do the repairs right. read more
