The city hired them to change our gas lines, they didn't cap the old one off properly. I left for four hours after they had finished came back to a house full of gas. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A FULL SERVICE PLUMBER. Ritter was contracted by…read morethe county to replace the main water line for the neighborhood. I thought while their here Ill have them replace my old plumbing, (for about $2,000). My garbage disposal quit working while they were here so I asked them to replace it. "Sorry we dont do that, there often dirty and we dont mess with it, was the reply." Yes even after I offered to pay them extra. After about a week I went down to the basement to find it flooded, the workers unpluged the a/c pump which drains the water, after plugging it back in it failed to work though it worked before they came maybe it was just time for it to go ? Next Im guessing I broke the divertor to the main shower trying to secure it to the wall not sure how I did that or why they didnt make sure it was secured but the faucets quit working, anyways I found that there was no turn off valves for the hot and cold water lines so that the divertor could be replaced, they also didnt put a turn off valve on the hot water tank Took over a month to get the boss back out here for the turn off valves to be installed. Luckly I have two baths. I asked them to replace the divertor that I had purchased, " Happy to pay you for the work . Sorry we dont do that not enough money in it." $200 an hour $200 trip charge and theres not enough money in it ! And they were already here. Also said they dont do toilets again lucky I didnt need one. Maybe I have unrealistic expectations but when you call a plumber you expect them to do all the plumbing work and not pick and choose what they do and dont do. Believe me had I known that I would not have contracted them. What may have taken them an hour to replace the divertor will probably take me 5 trips to the hardware store several hundred dollars for the tools/ materials alot of time on u tube and Im sure some cussing as Im not a plumber. Hope this is a teaching /learning experience for you as it was for me.

A couple of snafus arose during the job and it took longer than expected (which we were fine with), but there was never any conversation about additional costs. When we went in to settle our bill, we were expecting to have to pay an additional hundred or so. So when we were told that we owed AN ADDITIONAL $1000 (above and beyond our original quote), we were more than just a little upset. $1000 is NOT pocket change for us. When we asked to see the invoice, his wife was extremely unorganized, pulling out five different pieces of paper with notes scribbled here and there, plus a binder with more notes written on multiple pages. She stated that her "system" made sense to her and that she would have a hard time explaining it to us. As a customer, I expect you to explain and show me where any additional costs came from...especially when there is such a drastic discrepancy and neither the plumber nor his wife made any mention of additional costs during the course of the job. If we had been informed ahead of time, we would have been able to prepare financially for such a huge hit. Their behavior turned out to be beyond unprofessional and after arguing with a brick wall, we decided to pay the bill and be done with them. We will NEVER utilize their services again.

We had a cracked pipe from winter cold that connected to one of our outside spigots. Rob, knew the situation and what we were asking for (I use very laymen terms) gave a quote and kept that quote. He also was really good at responding to questions I had and we were able to plan the work a few weeks out very easily. Robert came a little late, but that was due to an emergency situation with a customer who had a busted pipe at the water meter. You gotta love a professional who cares about his customers, but other than that, he looked at the situation, went to the store to get what he needed and was done within 30 mins (it was very quick). We were really thankful that he also put in a shut off valve so we could turn off that pipe in the winter so it doesn't get cracked again. It really can't get much better, Rob's pricing was great, his communication was 1st class, his understanding and professionalism was all amazing and super helpful. The facet works great and there is no water leaking at all, the house was clean and now we have our outdoor faucet back. Highly Recommend RCB Plumbing, they would be hard to beat.
