"Sorry we dont do that, there often dirty and we dont mess with it, was the reply." Yes even after I offered to pay them extra. After about a week I went down to the basement to find it flooded, the workers unpluged the a/c pump which drains the water, after plugging it back in it failed to work though it worked before they came maybe it was just time for it to go ? Next Im guessing I broke the divertor to the main shower trying to secure it to the wall not sure how I did that or why they didnt make sure it was secured but the faucets quit working, anyways I found that there was no turn off valves for the hot and cold water lines so that the divertor could be replaced, they also didnt put a turn off valve on the hot water tank Took over a month to get the boss back out here for the turn off valves to be installed. Luckly I have two baths. I asked them to replace the divertor that I had purchased, " Happy to pay you for the work . Sorry we dont do that not enough money in it." $200 an hour $200 trip charge and theres not enough money in it ! And they were already here. Also said they dont do toilets again lucky I didnt need one. Maybe I have unrealistic expectations but when you call a plumber you expect them to do all the plumbing work and not pick and choose what they do and dont do. Believe me had I known that I would not have contracted them. What may have taken them an hour to replace the divertor will probably take me 5 trips to the hardware store several hundred dollars for the tools/ materials alot of time on u tube and Im sure some cussing as Im not a plumber. Hope this is a teaching /learning experience for you as it was for me.

He also was really good at responding to questions I had and we were able to plan the work a few weeks out very easily. Robert came a little late, but that was due to an emergency situation with a customer who had a busted pipe at the water meter. You gotta love a professional who cares about his customers, but other than that, he looked at the situation, went to the store to get what he needed and was done within 30 mins (it was very quick). We were really thankful that he also put in a shut off valve so we could turn off that pipe in the winter so it doesn't get cracked again. Then decided to tell me that they are running behind. Could not give me an update to when. 1:54pm still nothing. Had to call Home Depot and ask what is going on. 2:59pm at my house with no heads up. I was able to keep the pump operational until they showed up. They immediately knew what was wrong and fixed it. Then he used a zip strip to prevent any reoccurrence.
