A couple of snafus arose during the job and it took longer than expected (which we were fine with), but there was never any conversation about additional costs. When we went in to settle our bill, we were expecting to have to pay an additional hundred or so. So when we were told that we owed AN ADDITIONAL $1000 (above and beyond our original quote), we were more than just a little upset. $1000 is NOT pocket change for us. When we asked to see the invoice, his wife was extremely unorganized, pulling out five different pieces of paper with notes scribbled here and there, plus a binder with more notes written on multiple pages. She stated that her "system" made sense to her and that she would have a hard time explaining it to us. As a customer, I expect you to explain and show me where any additional costs came from...especially when there is such a drastic discrepancy and neither the plumber nor his wife made any mention of additional costs during the course of the job. If we had been informed ahead of time, we would have been able to prepare financially for such a huge hit. Their behavior turned out to be beyond unprofessional and after arguing with a brick wall, we decided to pay the bill and be done with them. We will NEVER utilize their services again.

Then decided to tell me that they are running behind. Could not give me an update to when. 1:54pm still nothing. Had to call Home Depot and ask what is going on. 2:59pm at my house with no heads up. Upset that no one is home now. Finally called me and I told them I will be back in 30 mins. They came inside and tried to tell me I needed all of these things. Told them I didn't need them and they said then we can't do the install. Ask the guy to leave and he did. The best part was he said it would take 6 hours to do the job and drain the old tank. Now I know why they are behind.

I was able to keep the pump operational until they showed up. They immediately knew what was wrong and fixed it. Then he used a zip strip to prevent any reoccurrence. He ran the pump numerous times to evaluate the strength of the pump (because of it getting hot) and told me that the pump was fine. Fast service. Honest evaluation. Showing up on a Sunday. Mikes sewer had a 6 month guarantee on any back ups after the hydro jet, but failed to answer any of the multiple phone calls and voice mails I left with them! they ghosted me and charged me 600$, ended up having roto rooter come out and pull out over 10lbs of roots out of my drain line and took 3 and a half hours to complete the job properly!
