Summary: overall a fantastic Paintball arena for some good fun with friends who dont want to spend…read morea lot of money for recreation. The fields are small which generate more dynamic firefights. The Details if you have time to read: PROS: 1. Current groupon $54 deal for 4 ppl worked out great. No hassles no complications. Includes admission, gear rental, and a total 1000 paintballs for the group. 2. Rental guns are OK quality mostly Tippman 98s in a condition that is expected at most paintball establishments. Tippmans are very hardy guns that can withstand a lot of abuse... Sorta like an AK rifle. 3. The low cost barrier of entry makes it easy to introduce new people to paintball especially when you use Groupon (see PROS point #1) 4. Getting hit by a paintball from a rental gun at a normal distance is not super painful at all which is due to their use of air tanks. This can be a good thing but I still prefer CO2 tanks to keep my accuracy + distance. Nevertheless I will keep it here in the PRO category since most other users will enjoy less pain and could care less about accuracy on the gun. CONS: 1. Young teens run the rental booth and fields which means customer service and the ability to have foresight & understanding of what the customer really needs/wants will be lacking. They are nice but just not very proactive. 2. They can only refill Air tanks here which means No CO2 tanks and No nitrous tanks. I'm accustomed to CO2 tanks and their accuracy/speed. The air tanks did not have the same performance I am use to. 3. Highly inaccurate guns. All my shots went to 10 o'clock from iron sight and as your tank ran low your shots will falter to 4 o'clock. None of my shots were straight or even relatively close. This is due to Con #2 (see reference) 4. Serious long downtimes between games and this is with 30+ players sitting at the picnic tables chilling. (Reference Con #1). You will play 2 games and then come back to the bench for 20+ mins to chill whereas at Texas Paintball you will bring your bags of paintball to the field and reload between rounds because you play 4-5 games before coming back to chill for 10 mins. 5. No Woodsball field. A lot of people love Woodsball. It feels like jungle warfare.

never was so excited to write a negative review. Friendly staff but terrible organization and…read morecoordination, there several instances where we waited 20-45 minutes between games. The equipment was faulty too. Instructions for games were unclear and staff did not do a good job at arranging games/groups, I would absolutely not recommend coming here.

We celebrated my son's birthday at X-factor Paintball Park this past Wednesday. They are closed to…read morethe general public during the week, and charge an extra $50 for weekday setup, but it was almost like having our own private paintball park to play in! We thought an earlier start time would be more bearable in the Texas heat, so we scheduled the earliest block possible at 10AM. The staff was so considerate, allowing us to wait for everyone in our party to show, so no one missed out on the games. XF supplied all the gear for the players (guns, face masks, protective gear, air tanks, etc.) and 4 bags of paint were included in the party package. If you need additional paint, you can purchase more for $20 (per 500 ct. bag). XF also has a paintball "gunsmith" on-site if you have your own gun and need a quick repair. My son was having problems with his air tank regulator and they were able to fix it on the spot so he was able to quickly get back in the game. XF has several paintball courses in the park. My personal favorite was the two-story "Alamo" with half the group attacking and the other half defending. The wooded courses are thick with cover and offer plenty of shade. The boys loved that they pretty much had their pick of any field and style of game play since they were the only ones there. Our party host allowed the players frequent breaks between games to hydrate. There are several picnic tables and shaded pavilions for a little relief from the sun. I highly recommend bringing a cooler with plenty of drinks because it does get very hot! The staff was super helpful and accommodating and made this birthday celebration a memorable one. Don't forget to tip your party host--these guys work really hard to make it a great experience for everyone. I highly recommend X-Factor and we will, no doubt, return very soon.

The kids were so excited to go play paintball for the first time. Rental is $43 for all day however…read moreyou have will have to wait an hour in between games that last only 10mins or so. We asked for a refund when we waited an hour for the next play. We arrived at 3pm and only were able to play 2 times. They apologized for the delay but were unable to refund for the one 10 minute play. They said they had too many birthday parties to accommodate public play so we needed to wait for the next field to come available. I would say it's poor planning and poor customer service. I wouldn't suggest going for public play during the weekends when there are a lot of parties, because you won't be allowed to play.

Highlights: Family-friendly environment. Awesome helpful staff. Lots of space to play…read more We had a small group of about seven people that played paintball, and we had the whole place to ourselves on a Friday evening. There are three different areas to play with one of them being a closer quarters area with lighting for nighttime play. The staff was really nice and welcoming. Our moderator was great and took lots of pictures and videos for us while we played. They explain everything, which is especially great for new players! You can rent equipment there or bring your own, but you do have to buy your paintballs there. They use a certain type of paintball that is biodegradable, and it also easily washes out of clothing. They also provided us with lots of bug spray for the evening mosquitoes. They have a pavilion and BBQ area, too, which would be great for birthday parties and other group gatherings.

Drove by this place a hundred times but never really gave it a thought as I haven't played in years…read moreand quite honestly really didn't think I wanted to play anymore. Little did I know, whether I wanted to play or not, I was going, along with the guys I hang out with in the hood. My wife booked Sunday afternoon for my birthday. Just to put this into perspective, I'm 56 and the average age of the crew is 61, so yeah did not think this was going to be a good idea, figured at least one of us would have a heart attack. If nothing else require oxygen masks. Anyhow we arrived at our planned time and was greeted by Larry to fill out waivers and discuss what guns, masks etc. we wanted. He then took us for the safety brief and lead us to the playing areas. He also designated a covered area with picnic tables for coolers etc. There are four playing areas, one speed game with plastic barriers and two other fields with pallets, fences, bridges and forts. There is another area but we didn't use it, it is a large area about a 1/4 mile long. At first it was a little rough going as a couple of the guys never played before but once they got the hang of it, it was a blast. We played around 15 games in the three fields. There was only one other group so we were basically on our own pace. Play a round, set down for a few minutes to catch our breath, then back at it. The grounds are very nice, plenty of covered seating areas and bleachers on one side of the speed round field. The staff was excellent, Larry somehow, after seeing our names on the waivers knew who each was and called us by our first names. I think the staff was amazed that a bunch of seniors had the courage to play and make it out alive, lol. We are already planning another day at Charlies.
