My treatments are customized based on my skin's needs. I regularly enjoy HydraFacials to deeply cleanse and maintain my oily, congested skin and help minimize the appearance of blackheads, as well as Laser Genesis to improve the appearance of scars and hyperpigmentation. For ongoing skin rejuvenation and maintenance, I also incorporate Vivace microneedling and Titan laser treatments approximately every 6 months. I love that these treatments focus not only on the immediate appearance of my skin, but also on maintaining its overall texture, firmness, and youthful appearance over time. I highly recommend Phetmany at Kur Skin Lab.

Hands down the best massage I've ever had. "Why?" you ask…read more Buckle up. I ran in FLUSTERED. I was running late from work. Lukkana greeted me and told me to catch my breath. She set me up with some calming tea and brought me to a private changing area with a locker for my belongings. Everyone in the vicinity checked in to make sure I was doing ok. I was worried that because I had arrived late, I would eat up some of my massage time. No siree! They moved my massage to start when I was ready to begin. I booked the 90 minute Nuansa classic massage. You know how some places start the clock before you've sat down and finish the massage early (aka you pay for an hour and it's only about 45 minutes)? Well! That's not the case here! I got all 90 minutes of my massage. The massage itself: not to be believed. Lukkana started by saying "time to relax". And boy did I. Let me tell you one thing about me - I have the most ticklish legs of anyone I've ever met. Usually, when I have my legs massaged, I kick a hole in the wall and the masseuse files for a lawsuit (this is an exaggeration). Well! Somehow, Lukkana was able to work the muscles in my leg without triggering my dainty ticklish reflexes. I was astonished! Then, you know how sometimes you ask for a firm touch and you get jelly hands? Or the other way around and you're walking out with bruises? WELL - Lukkana made me feel immensely relaxed WHILE ALSO really working the tissue. What a novelty. She finished up with a scalp massage, which is truly the way to my heart. 11 out of 10. Would recommend. Thank you so much for making my day.

I don't say the aforementioned lightly since I used to manage a spa. What to know: the facial is very basic but thorough. You won't find any special facial treatments here beyond a mask upgrade. If you need more maintenance, this isn't the place for you. The space is dated but very clean. Think of it as more of a skin clinic than a spa and you'll be fine. I was really disappointed with my experience at Mario Badescu. The $65 facial feels like a way to…read moreget customers in the door, as nearly everything comes with an additional charge. Charging an extra $50 for a glycolic peel and $40 for a mask is excessive. The spa itself also feels very outdated and could definitely use a refresh. My biggest issue, however, was that my facialist did not listen to my concerns about my skin. I explained multiple times that I am allergic to fragrance, but she repeatedly reassured me that the products contained "natural fragrance." I had to clarify several times that whether a fragrance is natural or synthetic makes no difference because my skin reacts to both. Despite this conversation, she still used the rosewater facial spray at the end of my treatment, which contains fragrance and caused my skin to break out. For a spa that specializes in skincare, I would expect the estheticians to take a client's allergies and sensitivities seriously. It was incredibly frustrating to communicate my concerns so clearly and still have them ignored. I would not return or recommend this facial.
