I specifically booked a Botox treatment with Zoila, the owner of the salon, since her name was listed among other stylists in the booking app. However, when I arrived, although she greeted me and explained the different treatments, she did not actually perform the service. Instead, someone else with less experience handled it, and I could tell because they kept asking Zoila questions during the process. For the price of $447, I expected the service to be done by the professional I booked with, especially the salon owner. The final disappointment came with the haircut -- I requested a butterfly cut, which Zoila herself did, and unfortunately the results speak for themselves (see attached photos for transparency). Overall, I left feeling let down and frustrated. When you pay a premium price, you should receive the experience and expertise you booked for.

I wanted to submit my review for @BellasBeautySuite located in Newark, NJ…read moreI must say Bella is BOMB! I literally wrote her at like 8AM for a VERY LAST MINUTE SAME DAY appointment and she responded, was professional and OVERSTOOD the assignment! I liked that I was able to text her my inspiration of what I wanted and she told me exactly what to book, so there were no surprises in pricing. I also really liked that I was able to pay for my appointment in full on the site. When I walked in I felt comfortable and the place was clean! Her playlist was lit too, I was trying to stay still but it was so good I wanted to keep singing. At the last minute I asked her if she had space for my mom to get her makeup done and she took my mom right on the spot with no last minute fees. I got dressed in the shop and took my hair down while there and Bella even helped me. I was running late so I was rushing getting dressed and my zipper on my pants popped and she literally came to the rescue, trying to help fit it and perfect my outfit. I was so antsy, she was like maybe wear a longer shirt, thankfully I had a few shirts with me and I had one, but it wasn't the look I was going for. I forgot to mention that Bella's shop not only is a place where you can get your make up done, but you can even get an outfit and accessories for affordable prices. So back to my outfit, Bella pulls out a waist belt and SAVES the day! Bella took pics and videos of me and really took her time with me, not one minute felt rushed. At the end of the appointment she gave us both a small bag with a beauty blender and a nice lipgloss also. Here we are a week later and I'm so happy to say my face did not break out. Most times when I get my make up done my skin breaks out (I guess since I barely do it), but with Bella it did not. I noticed all her brushes were clean when she beat my face and she also used quality foundation and other products. She was also a good person to take to, I loved her motivation and determination. It was nice to see a young person with their own store front and super professional!

Extremely Disappointed - Completely Unprofessional Experience…read more My daughter had her senior prom on May 13, a once-in-a-lifetime event she had been looking forward to for months. She scheduled a hair appointment at this salon for 12:00 PM and we arrived early at 11:45 AM--only to find the salon completely closed. We waited until noon, assuming the stylist might just be running late, but no one showed up. We tried calling, texting, and messaging her through Instagram multiple times, but received absolutely no response. We waited until 12:45 PM--still nothing. At that point, we were left scrambling, trying to find a last-minute salon that could take a walk-in. Thankfully, we eventually found a place that was kind enough to help us on such short notice. But the stress, panic, and disappointment were overwhelming--especially on such an important day. What makes this worse is that this wasn't our first bad experience. Last year, the same stylist had my daughter wait 45 minutes after her scheduled appointment. We gave her the benefit of the doubt then, but clearly this is a pattern. To top it all off, the people in nearby businesses noticed our frustration and shared that this kind of behavior is common for her--apparently, many other clients have complained that she's frequently late or doesn't show up at all. Her usual excuse, we've learned, is a "medical emergency," but at this point, it sounds more like an excuse than an explanation. I cannot stress enough how unprofessional and unreliable this place is. We are extremely disappointed and would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you value your time--and especially if you're booking for a special occasion--go elsewhere.

The service was a total of $140 for a blow out and makeup. As she was sitting there getting hers done, there were other customers coming back to complain about the services rendered and people sitting there currently saying they would never return. My little sister left there crying because she hated the hair and the makeup. She voiced her concerns as the services were being performed and showed inspo pictures. The lady who did her makeup did everything she asked her not to do and refused to show her as she was doing the makeup. She asked for glowy makeup and left pale. It looked like she did pretty much nothing on my sisters face and rushed through the service. My sister asked for a blow out and she did curls which dropped not even an hour after she got home. I have to start by saying how HIGHLY disappointed I am for going to this hair salon. I spoke to the…read moreowner of the hair salon about what I wanted, showed them pictures, and I explained that I had a bad experience before and that's the reason II was at this salon. She unfortunately didn't have the time to do my hair but called one her workers and I thought this person was trained and had experience, but I should've just walked out of the place as soon as I heard the owner telling her employee what number to use for the bottom, middle, and top of my hair. She clearly said 30 bottom, mid 20 and top 5, and when the owner was still there, her employee forgot that she made a mixture and the other mixture was prepared by the owner, and she put 20 bottom, which was not the order the owner said. Since I noticed the mistake, I asked both if they were sure it was not going to mess up my hair and both of them said no. After that, the owner left and while my hair was wet, it seemed good and I thought it was going to be great. But no! the lady left a clear visible line on top and the color was definitely not what I showed them, and on top of that, the lady who did my hair had the audacity of telling me that I was angry since the beginning! unbelievable.... I was disappointed when she mixed up the colors and did not even remember what she put on my hair... and on top of that, she said "I have never had a client like her" and before that she said "we all make mistakes!" but not with someone's hair! specifically, when the person had to go her office looking all ridiculous because someone did not pay attention to what they were doing! my hair is extremely important for me and I'm extremely disappointed, they were nice enough to say we are only charging 175.00 half of the price!!!! really half! I did not know I had to pay! to get my hair damaged!!!! i should've left with out getting charged anything!!! for the awful work they did on my hair and. I'm extremely sad and extremely disappointed in this place. She tried to fix it but still was not what I wanted.
