She arrived early and after setting up all the tools and makeup a girl could dream of, she and her assistant got to work on my mom and bridesmaids. Daisy is very skilled at making everyone of all ages and ethnicities look their best and feel comfortable, including my 14 year old niece, 45 year old sister in law, 65 year old mom and all of the 20- and 30-something bridesmaids. She and her assistant worked quickly but it did not feel rushed and everyone was thrilled with their makeup. She left plenty of time to make me the center of attention and recreated the exact look that I loved during our makeup trial. Daisy then came with us to the gardens and was on site with us until the ceremony, touching us up during pictures. The makeup she chose lasted all day so we probably could have gone without the touch ups, but I wanted the comfort of having her there just in case anyone broke down crying and needed a do-over. She was so attentive, helpful and fun, it felt like having another friend there who was part of my special day. I also had a HUGE zit on my wedding day--every bride's worst nightmare--and Daisy made it COMPLETELY disappear, it was crazy. I would like to add that I did makeup trials with four other makeup artists leading up to my wedding and Daisy's technique was the most impressive to me. She listened to what I wanted, provided her expert opinion on what she thought would work with my skin tone, and was very patient with me. I loved that she layered on my look and would pause after every layer to ask how I liked the look so that I had control over how much makeup was put on. She was able to achieve the "natural, smokey eyed, contoured" look that I asked for with products that felt very light on my skin but provided the coverage I needed to cover past acne marks. She took detailed notes about the colors and techniques she used so that she could replicate it on my wedding day and I'm pretty sure she studied the notes the night before our wedding because she remembered everything perfectly. I also appreciated how communicative Daisy was during the year leading up to our wedding. She was very responsive to emails and did not mind at all when I would email her with random thoughts or pictures that I found inspiring. It felt like she was as excited about my wedding as I was, which made me even more excited! I would highly recommend Daisy for your wedding if she is available in between fashion shows!

It was well worth the money spent. I woke up that morning looking terrible after a late night of celebrating. Within minutes of Rebecca starting my make up, I looked great. The airbrush make up is amazing and hides pretty much any flaw. The colors she used for myself and my bridal party were perfect. My makeup, including fake eyelashes stayed throughout the wedding and the whole night of celebrating. As a matter of fake the eyelashes stayed on for a couple of days. Rebecca was also able to get the perfect extensions into my very fine hair and make my hair look amazing. Rebecca is not only great at what she does, and very professional, but her personality seals the deal. She is bright, bubbly and beautiful.
