I loved the results and they lasted me quite awhile without a touch up. I went to her again recently and she still remembered what we talked about more than three years before! Annie is incredibly skilled at what she does and makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in. Her shop is small but cozy. This time around, I especially appreciated the foot rest which helps keep you comfortable during the entire session. The microblading takes about an hour. First, you undergo two rounds of numbing, one for twenty minutes and one for ten minutes. Annie then stencils your eyebrows and lets you take a look to confirm they are the shape and style you want. The actual tattooing is a bit uncomfortable and you can feel the small etchings on your face but definitely not painful. If you're like me and don't have the skill or patience to create your perfect brow every day, microblading is completely worth it.

Annie did a fantastic job on my sister's eyebrows so I was comfortable- but still a little anxious. I needn't have been, she went over everything in detail, did a stencil of the shape, reviewed colors and then did the most beautiful, natural job ever. I've had many people remark that they're the best they've ever seen, including aestheticians and medi-spa practitioners who've seen ALOT of microblading. I was so thrilled I had her refresh my permanent eyeliner, which I'd done 20 years before and was looking a bit sad - I had been afraid to get it touched up since the tattoo artist who originally did it retired. Not only did Annie refresh it, she made it much, much better! Annie is a true artist and an all-around joy to deal with; I'm so grateful for her and her beautiful work!

Before she does any service, at consultation she will explain everything, and draw in the expected shape so you both can agree on it. She gave me some insight to what my brows might look like, which I inquired only after looking at her reviews-- she never tried to sell me anything. I plan to go back for the brows, for sure.

I had asked her about parking situation, available garages, etc. prior to the 2-day class and made it seem like it was not a problem. 3.5 hrs driving into Brooklyn, only to find all parking garages are completely full, no metered parking and drive around for over an hour with no valid on street parking in sight. I had to turn back around and drive another 3.5 hrs back home. She did not even say "let's use your deposit towards another future class" or "Let ne refund your deposit gif such an inconvenience " I found her to be greedy and not understanding of the situation at all. You also need to bring all of your own supplies. Meaning not just your machine but pigments and needles. So be prepared to carry everything from your work into Brooklyn, walk a distance and lug it up mara it's to a studio without an elevator (which I also inquired about). Sign up at your own discretion. I rarely leave bad reviews but feel the professionalism could have went above and beyond. If she was willing to send a deposit back I most likely would have visited for other trainings. From far away it is okay but when I look in the mirror the eyebrows look like fish ones. She also gave me a black color when I kept telling her I wanted a dark brown because I know from drawing in my eyebrows that black looks unnatural on my skin. The eyebrows are also too thick even though she reassured me that they would look thinner than the actual outline. My eyebrows look nothing like the photos she has online. The eyebrow lines are much thinker than what you see in her photos. The worst part is that there are spaces that she did not even fill in. I hate to leave a bad review but this is just not good work. Warning: Structural Asymmetry and Rushed Service…read more I chose this artist based on her portfolio, but the service I received was a major departure from professional standards. For a nearly $700 permanent facial tattoo, she performed the work freehand without industry-standard mapping tools (string/calipers). The entire session took only 30 minutes, which led to: Severe Asymmetry: The brows are vertically misaligned on my forehead. Geometric Errors: Mismatched arch peaks and tails that do not taper symmetrically. Inconsistent Technique: Harsh vertical strokes instead of the soft ombré transition requested in my reference photo. I attempted to resolve this amicably, but the artist blamed "natural asymmetry" and "healing" for what are clearly measurement errors. She refused a refund and asked for more money to "fix" it. Please be cautious. Once the ink is placed incorrectly, it is a permanent and expensive mistake to fix. I will have to pay to get this removed

It's been 2 weeks and my lashes are starting to grow out and these lashes are falling out in clumps. Taking off a lot of my natural lashes. The salon said that there was "miscommunication" between me and my eyelash lady. I simply asked for a cat eye share and 11mm-15mm length lashes. I don't know what she did. It wasn't a cat eye shape, nor did it look good. She put the longest lengths in the middle of my eye. There was so much glue and the lashes were put it very messy. They were hurting my eyes.
