Both kindly turned down the offer of coffee and food because they were ready to get to work. Now, i had a twin room to get ready in, which didn't really allow for a lot of space for 5 girls + myself to get ready in, but these rockstars made do and reassured me they worked with less. They carefully listened to every girl's hair style and based on their hair type/weight and color, made suggestions on adjustments. Each bridesmaid was happy with their hair and doubly happy when everything was finished. Now, while the bridemaids were getting ready, i was fussing over a million things until they made me lay down and put on a mask. ha. My hair and makeup came out beautifully. I felt like i still looked myself (very important to me) and my hair style was intricate and beautiful. They also added a handmade comb i wanted to include, without a problem. They also gave me very specific instructions when putting on the lashes (i'm a makeup noob), and everything went well! They were great company, fantastic at their job and I looked great for the ENTIRE DAY and NIGHT. I mean I had to stand outside in the snow storm twice. TWICE. And then went to dancing and 2 additional outfit changes. My hair and makeup looked amazing even at the end of the night. Thank you!

So, Kristy curled the front 2 quadrants of my head and the other stylist curled the back 2 quadrants...the other stylist used too much water sprayed when putting curls in my hair when Kristy barely used any extra water for putting curling rods in my hair for processing them. End result...my front half of head has tighter curls, whereas the back half has looser curls...the difference is subtle, but it just bothers me a lot that I will loose these curls at different speeds as time goes on. They were nice and friendly to me during my service and told me to return if I have any problems with my hair, so I give them points for service, and I'm sure they would've taken care of it if I complained. I just don't have the time to sacrifice another 3 hours of hair salon time that I shouldn't really have needed in the first place. My hair is almost fried after this visit so i can't risk further chemical damage done. Not sure what went wrong....the processing time was too long perhaps? I'd rather just go to other hair salons in the area that are well-known for great outcomes.

Tatyiana listened to what I needed done, what hasn't worked before and some of my worries (they can't come out in the middle!). She prides herself on having a gentle hand when it comes to braiding and I can attest to that. I usually fight back tears while getting my braids done but was able to relax, enjoy and have a nice chat with Tatyiana who is very personable and kind hearted. Recommend her to anyone but especially to fighters in the area looking to have their hair "fight ready." It was $75 plus tip for my braids - a small price to pay for reassurance that I don't have to worry about my hair tonight. Everyone else at salon is very kind. Do note it is cash only but there is an ATM nearby
