I didn't know Stuft Pizza existed (maybe because the place is in an odd location) until now and I'm glad I did. Being typical, I ate the Stuft Special. It's pretty much a standard combo pizza but a bit more bulky and higher in quality. Price is similar to other restaurants of that type and ordering from the cashier made things more simpler and quicker. There are also many types of beer to drink and (football) games to watch. Wow, this place was a gem that I found on #Yelp! I was in the San Jose area for the first time and wanted pizza, this far exceeded expectations! I ordered a Large Half Chicken and Mushroom and Half Supreme. Both were AMAZING, the crust was perfect and thick without being too much. Perfect amount of sauce and generous amounts of toppings. Also couldn't resist trying the Garlic Bread and added Cheese (an option for +3$). The total for the pizza and cheesy/garlic appetizer came out to 40 dollars and some cents. Great place to watch any sporting event. Tons of TVs everywhere and IBU Taproom is right next door also, with a variety of other craft beers available to sample. Foodwise, shared the sampler, chicken tenders, and large pizza (half Maui and half stuft special which is basically like a combination). I requested thin crust since that's just a preference. Can be a bit pricey if you add on a couple of beers per person. All and all this is a great place to watch a game with good and simple bar food. read more

Grew up eating Stuft Pizza in Campbell. Loved it. I remember the Bogie and took my son to it tonight for his 10th Birthday. Ordered over the phone for a 7 pm pickup. Arrived at 7 and was told 3 minutes. Ended up getting the pizza at 7:18. Lady did apologize for its being so late. Would have appreciated a discount. I've been craving pizza for some time now and today was the day to satisfy that craving. We were looking for a new place to try and Stuft was that place. In short, it's a very hearty and hefty bready pizza that will power you through or put you to sleep, but I will be back! L O C A T I O N Off of Dempsey, it's in a small plaza with a small parking lot, so luckily we found a spot as it's competing with a few other well visited places M E N U Aside from their pizza, they sell hot sandwiches, appetizers (typical bar type food like jalapeno poppers, mozzarella sticks, calamari, etc.), calzones, desserts, pastas, and drinks meaning beer both bottle and tap. The pricing on the pizza isn't bad at all and that's compared to Patxi's which is typically where we end up defaulting to since it's closer to us. Albeit their pizzas are different. They have different sizing on the pizza from small (10" in diameter) to XL (16"). We opted for a medium (13") and got half a Garlic Lemon Chicken and half Popeye's Special. The Garlic Lemon Chicken was good, but a bit salty and peppery. So a bit too seasoned for my taste, but I did like the fresh tomatoes on top. The Popeye's was basically the opposite. It was underseasoned. So it was great to have swapped back and forth so that it kind of evened out. Definitely consider half and half pizzas though of course they price you on the more expensive pizza. The bread was very thick, so it did feel like you were eating bread with some toppings on it. So if you don't particularly like bready pizzas, then consider asking for the thin crust (which I think I'll ask for next time to experience it). I appreciate a chewy crust and I love bread (as Oprah would say). I'm ashamed to have eaten 3 large slices and was very full. O V E R A L L There were a lot of people inside for a game and they were definitely enjoying themselves. I'm sure the pizza and beer helps! The pizza satisfied both my pizza and bread craving. Stuft Pizza is great not just for its pizza but for pretty much everything hang-out related. You can grab a nice brew with some friends, watch some sports and oh eat pizza. Stuft is the original establishment having opened its sister bar next door as IBU recently. Stuft is much more spacious than IBU and has more TVs and tables. Stuft's collection of beers are the more common ones you'll find at most places such as Modelo, Blue Moon, etc. But it does carry my favorite beer, Karl Straus Red Trolley ale! Whenever the Warriors play, both establishments can be quite crowded so make sure your entire party is there to be seated. Another plus is that Stuft will show UFC fights and pay per view showings. For food, try the potato wedges. Golden, crispy and delicious! A small pizza is enough for two people (6 slices). Overall the friendly staff makes for a great experience! read more

We used to go to Stuft Pizza in Gilroy years ago, and when they closed it we were sad. We finally tried Stuft Pizza in Milpitas and let me tell you it did not disappoint. The pizza is just as good as I remember the one in Gilroy years ago. We ordered a half Bogey half Cornucopia. It was delicious! The toppings were aplenty. The crust was fluffy with a nice little crisp to it. Mmmmm Mmmmm. I ordered over the phone and told them I would pick it up at 6. The girl behind the counter was sweet and friendly, and the pizza was right out of the oven when I showed up. Awesome. My wife said she liked this pizza better than our usual favorite pizza joints, and I have to tell you, it's right up there. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. My family has been coming to Stuft Pizza for 20+ years, and it's always good, but I just had a bad experience. 1: the flavor of the pizza was completely changed. We got a large combination with no peppers, like we've always been doing. Only something major changed and it no longer tastes like Stuft pizza. It's like they changed suppliers of toppings and now it has a strange cheap frozen pizza taste. It's hard to describe, but I'm pretty sure it's the toppings. ‍ 2: the pizza was also a little soggy, perhaps undercooked. This is very unlike the Stuft Pizza that I know and love. I really do love Stuft, it's my fav pizza place. I tell everyone about them, and I really hope this isn't a permanent, and I'm hoping it's a one off. It was so bad that I could only manage to scarf down two slices and then tossed it. This was in mid April, and during COVID-19 social distancing. Stuft has their original crust perfected - hot, crisp, fluffy deliciousness. So far we've ordered either pick up or delivery and have only been impressed. Time quoted for pickup has been accurate each time. My personal favorite is The Monroe, although the BBQ Western and Pizza Caliente are preeetty good too. With 23 big screens, this place is perfect for watching football, hockey, or basketball. I always get their pizzas well done, so the crust is nice and crispy. The taste and texture of their dough ranks up there...above average in my books. Obvious with each bite, you can tell that they use fresh high-quality ingredients. Their pizza menu can be overwhelming. You can never go wrong with any topping(s) of your choice. For me, my pepperoni-mushroom-jalapeño pie usually hits the spot. Some of my favorite gourmet pies are Stromboli, Cool Ranch Luke, Valentino, and the CBR on pesto. Other must-haves are their crunchy Stuft fries and both Thai & buffalo style hot wings. I had this place bookmarked for the longest time in hopes to try it when in the area. Finally the day had come for some Stuft Pizza. The menu board has pizza, apps., pasta, sub sandwiches, calzones, salads and cookies. They serve beer, a soda fountain and self serve salad bar. Not all of the pizza combinations are on the main menu board. Make sure to check the small paper menu before ordering. We missed out on trying the Thai chicken pizza. I guess we will have to make another trip out here. The small paper menu has 28 combinations listed. Hubs and I ordered and paid at the counter. We shared a medium BBQ western pizza ($20.99) and a trip to the salad bar ($4.99). Total with tax was $28.25. The pizza is served automatically with their signature thick crust (unless requested otherwise) Toppings was BBQ chicken, green bell peppers, red onions and cilantro with a drizzle of BBQ sauce on top. We picked a table, made a run to the salad bar while waiting for the pie to arrive. The salad bar had tons of ingredients too many to list and at least 6-7 dressings. It was well stocked and clean. The pie was brought over by the manager about 20 mins. after ordering. It was loaded with toppings, pipping hot and ready to be devoured. The crust was soft, crusty and doughy all at the same time. It was delicious dipped in honey. The toppings was fresh and a good ratio of cheese and sauce. I added some jalapeños from the salad bar and red pepper flakes. A medium was more than enough for 2 people. The place is large, has tons of seating, big screen TVs, a little dark inside and casual. It is a sports bar after all so keep that in mind. A friend and I came here on a Sunday night (6:30pm) to try their pizza and there was maybe 2 families aside from us. You have to stand in line to order, which was kind of strange for a restaurant. It felt very much like a fast food type of place. The menu is on the wall to look at while you're in line but there were no prices written anywhere. They don't have a hand menu to look at either so that was kind of awkward. We ordered one BBQ pizza and one Stufts house pizza with a side order of 6 wings. The total came out to be around $40.00, and that's fair, but the fact that prices weren't written anywhere makes me feel curious. Although, I'm sure locals frequent this place but it should be a common courtesy for newbies. The ambience of this restaurant resembles nothing of a sports bar. It reminded me of a glorified dive bar with TV's. The TV's were awkwardly placed, with one side of the room stacked with 6 TV's. All of the screens were playing the same thing. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of stacked screens? We waited for our pizza for about 20 mins, and started off with the appetizer first. The wings were just wings - no celery sticks, carrots or any garnishment. I felt that was kind of ugly. They just put the wings in a paper plate in a sit-down restaurant. When the pizza came, it looked really good. I didn't think the pizza was actually that good- the flavors were not strong enough and the dough was tough, not chewy. The ingredients were just feathered on and there was a lot of bread but not enough toppings. The BBQ sauce was decent but it was warm, not piping hot like it should be. Some of the onions were raw! That's very suspicious of them not making it fresh. It seemed like they already pre-made the pizza and just warmed it up for us. The wings were tasty, and the ranch was great. That was it. I wouldn't recommend Stuft's to anyone with higher expectations for a pizza joint and bar combo. I just don't think this place takes it up to that level of good food, drinks + entertainment. This place is tucked away in a corner and tinted out. I had been to the shopping center twice and never noticed it! Once inside though, it's a nice place. You order cafeteria style then sit down with a number. TVs wrap around the entire dining area. This was awesome as I was watching the World Series and my bf wanted to watch some football. Wings- only offered on fire sauce per the menu but they can give them to you naked or in BBQ if you ask (I was scared they'd be too spicy but they aren't). Good flavor and I thoroughly appreciated that they cleaned the bone for the drumsticks. We ordered seconds of these. Pizza- good. Got the BBQ chicken. Solid amount of toppings and thick crust. A sportsfan's heaven! You can see the huge, bright screens from outside before you walk in. Picture is clear, they've got plenty of screens for a variety of games, and posted schedules. I say all this, as if I watch sports... I came here for the surprisingly excellent craft beer selection on draft. Most importantly, they always have at least one sour on tap! Right now, it's my favorite, New Belgium Le Terroir. They rotate once the keg is done, so it really depends on demand. There is also an extensive bottle list, if you need more options. Food was also from a wide selection. It isn't really deep dish, but you can ask for thin(/ner) crust, if you want. Their thicker, toasted crust is great with the honey they put out. This would be a great spot for friends to hang out or watch a big game at. I walked in a few nights ago to order a pie, saw the prices, which were at LEAST $10 to $15 more than anything like "the going rate" for the area. I told the woman at the register just that... I can only count to 10 so I'm not exactly sure how many flat-screen TV's Stuft Pizza has. The point is, this pizza place is an absolutely awesome venue to catch whatever sports game is on that day. The lighting is dim so eat up and don't worry about having to suck in your stomach as no one will be able to see. Order pizza at the front, bring your number to whatever table you please, and your pizza will be brought to you by the polite staff. The pizza, however, could use a little bit of improvement. The toppings tasted fantastic and the meat was absolutely delish. However, one of my favorite parts of a pizza pie, the crust, was a bit too hard for my taste.
