I had always wanted to try Stuffies Pastries whenever I found myself shopping at Guildford Town Centre. When I saw the huge sign advertising a small coffee and one stuffy for $1.50, it was too good of an excuse NOT to try, and I noted many patrons had the same idea as me. With the coffee/stuffie deal, you don't get to choose the filling flavour, it is whatever they give to you. I ended up with a very tasty and not overly sweet vanilla filling. If you order a fresh pastry, then you would have more choices such as blueberry. Personally I thought the teeny coffee and teeny pastry was a good little snack as I went about the rest of my shopping day. I will say it was a little traumatic to realize I would either have to eat the head of the bear first, or a limb. But once you get over that, all will be well. The place is small with about six bench seats available for those who want to rest their legs for a few minutes. Lots of display cases show off the cute little stuffies, along with a limited selection of sandwiches and other goodies. You may event want to order a half dozen or a dozen stuffies pastries for dessert if you are going to a small group gathering! read more

I love stuffies pastries! It's the cute aesthetics that get me, it looks too cute to eat but I'll eat it anyways! I'd love to bite the head off a mini fish or bear and inside the fish was a jam and inside the bear was a cream filling. They have a good deal for the day old ones! They taste just as good and I like that they come individually wrapped. Alas my most favourite thing is the cro-tai! It's very Japanese and I love the pattern of the fish. I always like the dessert one filled with Nutella. They warm it up for you on the heated grill and the Nutella is just warm and gooey, I love it! It's the best treat ever! read more

Shopping always tires us or atleast makes us feel need of caffeine. This shop is at the right spot in the mall. Right in front of Shaw shop. Grab a coffee or one of the stuffies while waiting for ur call. Stuffies has animal shaped pasteries filled with custard of different flavours but mostly vanila and cranberry. Also ice cream stuffed pastry All items can be purchased individually $3.00 each or in the pack of 6,8 n maybe more. Common hot and cold drinks are offered. My caramel chai tea latte was cold. Dont know if tthe foam made it cold or what but I didn't like it. Overall service is okey. People at the shop can be atleast excited n smilingly taking orders then making a poker face. read more

I went here on Nov 24th Saturday after strolling around Surrey Central mall. This store reminded me of pastry store in subway station in Korea and I think it's owned by Korean as well. They had variety of Taiyaki (gold fish waffles) with cream and dessert. I've never tried dessert ones with icecream and I was so used to having ones with red beans. Some items were sold out when I went. I got 2 stuffies($1.40) and Americano (small $2.95) it was good. There wasn't much cream; however I was satisfied with the price of small ones. It was good for a light snack. I found my stuffies too cute to it and sorry I had to eat it, lol. Staff was really nice giving me an extra piece while my order was 2 pieces with Americano. read more

I'm always on the hunt for cute and yummy treats so when I came across Stuffies Pastries, I knew I had to try it! Ended up getting the Nutella, smoked beef and thai chicken cro-tai. I especially like the Nutella one. There are tons of savoury and sweet flavours you can choose from. We also got the combo box that has 24 assorted stuffies that came with vanilla, dulce de leche and dip'd and sprkl'd stuffies! At first I thought the stuffies were crunchy like a taiyaki but it's actually a soft, gluten-free stuffed pancake like pastry! My favourite was definitely the vanilla filled bear stuffies. But be sure to it as soon as you get it... not that you'll be able to resist anyways! read more

Stuffies pastries FINALLY opened their second location in Guilford Mall in Surrey! I've been to the Stuffies Pastries location in North Vancouver a few times because it's close to my work but it was great to see that they expanded! Usually I get their little stuffies pastries that are filled with custard cream but today I decided to try something different and have their Cro-tai instead. I've only had these at Snowy Village before so I wanted to see how they compared here. If you've never had a Cro-tai before, it's basically a puff pastry filled with a sweet or savory filling before being pressed into a fish shape. The pastry is cooked on an iron so that the outside of cro-tai remains crispy while the inside remains flaky! They have an assortment of sweet and savory flavors of Cro-tai here but I decided to go with a savory one because I've never tried a savory Cro-tai before. I got the Thai chicken one because it sounded the most interesting. Unfortunately, I wouldn't say it had any Thai flavors per say because it tasted like having chicken salad with the option of dipping it in sweet chili sauce. I would have liked it better if it had Thai spices and herbs in the chicken salad as well. read more

They have a variety of different Taiyaki like pastries, which is basically japanese dessert waffle, and their taiyaki comes in both fish shaped or bear shaped with red bean / custard filling inside. it was really cool that you can watch how they make it directly in fron of you, and purchase the assorted flavours of the tiny taiyakis. My friend got the vanilla cro-tai, it had a nice croissant like crisp texture but was wayyy too sweet overall... we were kind of disappointed Vanilla Cro-tai - $3.95 read more

This franchise recently opened at Guildford mall and is located on the second level. I stopped by just before the mall was closing. There were only two flavours available - vanilla and strawberry. Bite sized desserts at the affordable price of 70 cents each. There was a cuteness factor with the mini fish and bear shaped custard filled pastries. The taste was alright. The filling was not as creamy as I would have preferred but did taste distinctively vanilla and strawberry. The pastry exterior was light and not too sweet. I think the mini pastries are good for parties. There are other sweet and savoury options as well. I need to try a few more items before increasing the rating. read more

My friend actually bought me a bag of these "stuffies" a while ago, but I forgot to write a review. Since I didn't go myself I can't comment on the ambience or the service of this location. I thought the pastries would be warm but my friend said she bought the ones that were sitting in the display. I wonder if they also offer fresh/warm ones? The pastry was in the shape of a fish and the other resembled a bear of sorts. So cute! Almost too cute to eat, but I did it as humanely as possible. The flavors I got were vanilla and chocolate. I preferred the vanilla, which is weird for me since I'm a chocoholic. I love food thats both fun and yummy and this checked both of those. I'll admit that I likely won't be going back as there are other yummy treats in the vicinity, but I would definitely recommend everyone try it atleast once if gimmics or cute things appeal to you! read more

I ordered via UberEats. The stuffed savories were delicious, and the chai tea, though probably too cold for other people was perfect to me, and very rich and warming in flavour. little cute pastries were not bad but I can't stand the girl working there(long hair with ponytail). She was so rude. She should learn how to talk to customer. she also threw the receipt at me and even didn't say anything. I don't know how she got the job but if she doesn't want to work there, she should quit. Because of her, I never ever want to go back there even food was okay. I hope owner of this shop is reading this review and give her a good customer service training.
