I was not let down it was delicious ! First of all they fry the chicken right there in front of you so it's fresh! Pipping hot ! It's seasoned but I would have like a tad more seasoning just for me but I like too much salt so don't worry about that . My husband tried a piece of mine and loved it . I got 5 prices with fries and it was super filling. If you traveled far ( I did 40 mins to get there ) the food Will still be hot when you get home or at least mine was Also had the Strawberry banana pudding babyyyyyyy I've never had strawberry banana pudding but it was the truth !!! I want to first give this place an a for presentation. The food is very appealing to the eye. I really did LOVE LOVE LOVE the McGregor salad the most it has a combination of salad and cabbage very fresh. Very crunchy chicken very good. The sampler stuffed wings were OK I think, what would have granted at least four stars would've been. I've been following this place since their food truck days. I finally got an opportunity to try them out when I was in town on business. I love the interior! It's bright, fun and pays homage to the neighborhood. The staff and owner were super friendly and helpful. I ordered the Tierwester Wings and added 2 additional wings and strawberry lemonade. I tried the seafood boudin stuffed wings as well as the Mac and cheese stuffed wings. The chicken itself is flavorful and fried to perfection. The stuffing enhances the already great chicken wings. I've been wanting to try stuffed wings since seeing a reality show based in NC aired years ago. I was visiting Houston and was checking Yelp and happened to see stuffd wings. I entered and was pleased to see a short line. I viewed the menu and decided to go with the dirty rice stuffed wings. My dad ordered the seafood boil stuffed wings combo and got the collared green cole slaw as an additional side. Because I checked in with Yelp , I was given a free soda. The staff were friendly and the restaurant appeared clean. The wings were seasoned well and I was pleased with the dirty rice and preferred it over the seafood. The star of the show was the collared green coleslaw! I'll definitely have to find a recipe for that because it was very flavorful. I saw the frozen pink drink constantly being dispensed although I don't drink frozen drinks, I thought I'd try it. I just have one question. Why do you only serve one size? It was amazing. I ordered the 10 piece so I can try two wing flavors. I chose the seafood stuffed and the macaroni stuffed. The seafood stuffed put me in the mind of a seafood Boudin. I liked it but I loved the macaroni stuff. Do you know what it's like to try to eat the favorite one last, so that's the last taste you have in your mouth? yeah well I tried and I messed up. Why would anyone wanna eat stuffed chicken I don't know. The chicken itself was well seasoned, but the Mac n cheese (if you could even call it that) inside was lacking flavor. The different stuffings gave the chicken a different flavor (think about different stuffed turkeys you have had at Thanksgiving). After months and months of passing by this establishment and wanting to go, I finally got the opportunity today to go. I asked The cashier was the banana pudding homemade and she said yes. Arrived and no one was in line so I rushed to the front. If you've never been here before , they only serve Mac and Cheese on the weekends. Much props for being able to take a creative spin on a popular dish. Definitely a must on the revisit list and for visitors to Houston. I would give them a 5 if the fries actually tasted good. Everything, from the a1 customer service, quick service, and tasty food, to the good music and clean, cute interior of the restaurant. I ordered the wheeler loaded fries and the tierwester wings (added on two wings so I could try another stuffing) Out of the chicken and seafood boudain, the chicken was my favorite and the house chi sauce is very good. They had one of my favorite beers on tap St Arnold Art Car. Everyone we made contact with was polite and helpful and shout out to Brighton who took our order and was super patient and helpful since we had questions with it being our first time there.
