I love my color by Constance. She was able to decipher 'customer speak' into the great color I was thinking of. Artistry is important (she's very talented) but listening and determining what clients want is essential too. My previous color was nice enough. However, I was hoping to eliminate the gold and brassy tones so I requested a cooler base color with contrasting highlights. The result looked great even when my hair was still wet. She did a wonderful job styling (I have some frizz) and my hair looked sleek and polished when she was done. The salon is cute and has a friendly feeling. Also, the chairs in the shampoo room are the most comfortable that I've experienced. Plus, after conditioning, she placed a pre-warmed towel on my head as a pampered touch. I wasn't expecting much but I am so suprised at how the stylist and their owner are able to combine professionalism and creativity to a beautiful blend. Adrianna did a quick consult over the phone to help me choose the services that matched my desired results, which was immensely helpful. She got me booked quickly and I personally love the text reminders that were sent. My hair didn't react to the chemical treatment as expected, it turned out good, just not perfect, but hey that's hair. (I was happy with the result) so she offered to reapply if needed in a different appointment. I moved to Edmonds in December and was trying to get a hair appointment after 5 because of my work hours. Few of the local salons even answered their phones. Of the two that did, none could fit me in before two weeks and weren't very friendly or interested it seemed. I thought I would have to go to a chain salon and probably have a bad experience. Luckily, I found Constance and Adriana at Studio Prominence through their receptionist Lilli. Not only did they work me in within a day, but every single time I come they ALL greet me with genuine warmth, they remember my wine preference and bring me a cold glass, they pick up our conversation right where we left off like old friends, and I always get an AMAZING COLOR/CUT/STYLE! I swear it feels like a younger, cooler Steel Magnolias! I always get compliments on my hair when I leave and can't say enough about the professionalism and commitment to excellence there. To give you an example, I had a smoothing treatment and my normally frizzy, curly hair looked and felt amazing. However, when I washed my hair, the chemical interacted badly with the water and my body chemistry and had a funky smell and caused irritation to my scalp.
