She has the ability to get through the foiling process so quickly with amazing precision which amazes me what a breeze to sit through so comfortably. I found this place when I won a fundraising auction item for a giftcard with Shelby. After my favorite hairstylist moved away, I had a few disappointing experiences and figured this was a good opportunity to try someone new. WOW! Shelby delivered!! On top of her warm demeanor and the overall inviting vibes of the salon, she nailed exactly what I asked for- without pictures! She was also waaay faster than most other hairdressers I've worked with and her prices are reasonable too. She's a pro and I love that I found her through her generous donation and time and skill to support the local Brier Helling Brier nonprofit. My hair has found a new hair home! . read more

Every time someone asks about stylists on the local facebook page Audrey Lambert's name pops up. Now I know why! I have been to her twice and both times am blown away with her talent. She is a master with color and gives great cut suggestions. I have to admit, I thought it had been about 6mo since my last visit but it was more like a year(!) and I had zero grow out line. Like she perfectly matched my color to cover my occasional grays. GET THIS: the last time I was there she had a heated blanket for her clients to use while getting their hair washed! I gotta say, Audrey really knows her stuff. She expertly styled my hair for nearly a year as I'm continuing to grow it from short to long. There's probably been a grand total of four to five weeks of "that awkward stage" where hair tends to do weird things, and that was just after I decided to grow it out. Not a happy camper. Due to King County not in Phase 2 my dear friend told me about this place in Mountlake Terrace, that I need to see her hairdresser of 20+yrs. Note, my normal place for a few years and gal in Edmond had to close their doors. The hairstyles name is Kerri. I was very nervous to have someone new cut and color my hair but I was desperate. I told her I only wanted 2 inches off infect I showed her, she cut 6!!!! And foiled my whole head that didn't need, just the roots. Again she didn't listen to me. I'm a nice person and didn't want to embarrass her, (I was in shock) so I spared her. Until a day or two later I called to tell her I wasn't happy and wanted my money back. She said, I'll call you back but of course she didn't. Lesson learned. Always be very careful to make sure your hairdresser listens to you. It's your hair not theirs. read more

I've driven by this place a dozen times and thought I'd give them a try. However, I was so turned off by how rude Lynette was over the phone I will never attempt to make an appointment again. First of all, if you're using your personal phone for work you should answer it professionally. I seriously thought I had dialed the wrong phone number. She didn't introduce her self and sounded annoyed. When I explained that I was hoping to get my hair cut she responded with "Have you called anyone else?" ...Wait, what? No, I called you. The number listed on the website. The conversation got progressively worse from there. No way I'm going to pay to subject myself to that attitude while she cuts my hair. read more
