I LOVE MY HAIR! I came to see Jason this past Tuesday for a hair cut. During our consultation I explained that it had been about a year since my last hair cut because I have been growing it out. I wanted to preserve as much of the length as possible, but get it back to looking healthy. My hair grows very slow and it is fine in texture so i usually experience a sense of reluctance to cut it once it finally starts to acquire some real length. My hair, however, was really starting to look tattered and it was time to give in and do something about it. I have often expressed these same sentiments about my hair with other stylists and end up coming out loosing way too much length and with a style that doesn't really suit me. Over the years I have generally come to accept that maybe I am just one of those people who is just supposed to have short hair because thats what every stylist who takes their shears to my head gives me. Jason did not leave me feeling this way. He really listened to me during our consultation and took my desires to heart. By the time he was done with the cut I was already smiling even before he had blown it dry. Not only did he preserve length, but he also gave me some round layers that truley accentuated the shape of my face and its features. The way he cut it also made it look fuller and thicker. Overall, this is the best haircut I have ever had....it even knocked a few years off my appearance! "I feel pretty! Oh so pretty!"...will definately be a repeat client. Thanks Jason read more

I LOVE this place! From the second you're greeted at the door, to the tender care of the stylists, this place is Top Shelf. Felicia always handles my appointment booking needs and makes sure there is plenty of time dedicated to me and the service being done. Then Jason works his magic on my hair. I have been to SOOOOO many different salons and let me tell you, I had to kiss a lot of frogs before I found this prince! Jason works magic with his color and his cut, I've never left feeling less than stellar. They pay attention to the littlest of details... I mean, the shampoo bowl is the most comfortable neck-rest-while-feet-propped-up experience. The head massages are the best, usually done my my stylist but every so often Felicia or Sloan will grace me with their professional massages as well, let me tell you, it's AMAZING! The Salon is always clean and has a sexy urban atmosphere. Always a fine selection of music and when I want to indulge a little, the wine is delicious too. All around a 5-Star experience. The price is right too!! Go get you some. read more

Studio Oliver knows hair! I recently went into the salon to visit after 10 years and ended up making an appointment with Oliver after seeing and learning all the great things that has happened there in the years past. Oliver is still the same stylish, laid back, accommodating hair expert! He knows a head of hair and takes the time to session with you about what you want from your hair, how do you take care of it, etc. Then he tells you what he thinks and what he would do... and WA-LA! You look AMAZING again and all thanks to another successful date with your hairdresser. There are other stylists as well and all are friendly and knowledgeable. The receptionist is great too, very personable and helpful! Kudos to Oliver who has maintained a successful, unique salon in the heart of Midtown! I'm glad I stopped in. Oh I almost forgot! Studio Oliver has a wonderful massage parlor in side as well and I hear it's outstanding and well priced. Also they carry Bumble&Bumble products. sweet! read more

Oliver is an amazing artist and colorist extraordinaire. My hair was under styled and over processed before Oliver cut and colored my curly kinky hair to perfection. All you curly haired people know when your curls don't like a cut they become an unruly mess. Not having a good color on curls can make them look flat and lackluster. But when you get comments on your color at the grocery store from strangers you know it's perfect, or when your curly hair can have a great second day without a restyle you also know its great. Everyone at studio Oliver, Slone, Jason and Zoe are wonderful. I received relaxing massages from Zoe and both Slone and Jason have styled my curly hair beautifully for a big night out. Studio Oliver is a wonderful midtown salon with a great atmosphere incredible staff and most of all Oliver artists extraordinaire. read more

Going to Studio Oliver is always a treat. The entire studio is attentive and friendly: whether it's offering you a something to drink or giving you that handy reminder call. Everyone is conversing and laughing, it truly feels like a family. Nick is a master when it comes to hair. He can do an updo in a minute. Show him your dress and tell him your event and as your talking you can see the wheels turning in his head and VAVOOM!!!! in little time you have a Nick Original on your head. I got so many compliments on my prom updo. Nick really made me stand out and above the rest with a mastered style created just for me. I also love that Nick is able to work on all hair types, ethnic hair, mixed hair, long, short, curly..he can do it all! read more

Let me start by saying that my hair was badly messed up by a stylist in Roswell ga. I had chunky orange streaks in my brown hair and blonde highlights that were way to thick and bleach that ran onto parts of my hair that it shouldn't have and It left huge blonde spots on parts of my brown hair. My hair looked unrepairable. I went to see Katie and she was AMAZING. She was able to turn my orange streaks back to brown and cover up my blonde patches and spots. I'm left with a nice brown color with a few blonde highlights like I originally wanted. Thank you Katie for saving my hair and for making it look fabulous again. I will definately be a repeat customer read more

I spent a lot of time looking for a color specialist in Atlanta. Heidi at Studio Oliver is amazing with color and cuts. She not only colors hair with precision, but she also care about the health of your hair. Whether you show her a picture of what you are looking to do, or you describe the look you are going for, Heidi make sure to understand exactly what you want. And, most importantly, she delivers. You will not be disappointed if you pay her a visit, and you will certainly not be going to another salon after the professional and relaxed experience you'll have at Studio Oliver. Do yourself a favor and pay the place a visit. read more

I am new to Atlanta and found Studio Oliver on Yelp. It was a wonderful experience and I will DEFINITELY be going back again! Heidi was wonderful. She really listened to what I wanted, discussed a plan with me, and then executed it perfectly. She also gave me great styling tips as she was styling my hair -- little tricks I could do to add volume and shine, etc. She was very friendly and thoughtful and knows what she is doing. Additionally, the salon was clean and comfortable, and the rest of the staff I encountered were all kind, too. read more

Every time I walk in the door at Studio Oliver I feel like I am walking into my home. I am treated as part of their family; with warm hearts and friendly smiles (even the dog). I only started going to Studio Oliver because a friend turned me on to the salon. And I'm glad that I have the priviledge of being amongst the few that enter that door. Nick-you never cease to amaze me. You have done wonders for me and my girls style. And thank you-Prom-she was beautiful. Absolutely stunning-my little girl is now a young lady. Much love.xoxo read more

Nick is the best! From color to cut, Nick always says he's going to put himself out of business because I wait so long between highlights...well Nick I wait so long because you do such a fantastic job of blending everything into a natural look. In July Nick chopped about 14" and took me from long to an asymmetric bob. I can honestly say strangers stop me on the street/grocery stores/work to tell me they love my hair cut & to ask where I got it done. What a great gem in the heart of midtown :) read more

I went for the first time and saw Oliver himself. He was lovely and professional. I thought I would just get a shape up and continue growing my hair out, but Oliver made some assessments and two or 3 suggestions after. I took the option he was most excited about and went shorter with bangs. Now, bangs are a commitment. I really liked it, but everyone I ran into loved it! So... Oliver, thanks so much for your artistry and charm! I can highly recommend him!! read more

Oliver has been my stylist since I met him in 2000. I trust him completely. He is the only person I will allow to color my hair, as red is such a volatile color. He considers my coloring, my mood, my plans, the season, trends in style and fashion, and the health of my hair every time he colors me (every 5-6 weeks). He is considerate and charming, and an afternoon at Studio Oliver feels like a get-together with your sassiest friends... read more

I love this salon! It's very clean and everyone has always been so professional and friendly. I go to Slone for haircuts every few months. We always have a great time chatting and she even offers me complimentary wine. I always get compliments on my hair when she is done with styling. I wish I could style it like she does every other day! Never colored my hair, but it's something I'll consider for the future. Highly recommend her. read more

Nick saved a blonde like me.... I have deemed this man "THE ARTIST". Why? He turned my blonde on not-so blonde hair into a F****** Masterpiece. The man is genius. I have been getting my hair professionally highlighted/ dyed since the age of 12. Never, have I met a stylist so innately talented, understanding and serious about his craft. Make an appointment with "The Artist". He will save your hair and make you look sexy as hell. read more

THIS IS WHERE YOU SHOULD GO FOR EYELASHES!!! I go to Oliver's regularly for both my hair with Oliver the owner and for massages with an English girl named Zoe. Well now they have hired on an esthetician named Lara who offers some great services, but I really needed my eyelashes done. Oh my God, I looked like a new woman when I was done. I will be back in a few weeks and I would recommend you see her. read more

I'm never quite sure what to do with my blah straight hair. Oliver and his staff offered up tons of suggestions and after a great cut, I'm now happier than ever with my hairstyle. I needed someone to show what all could be done and they did just that! They treated me and everyone else like lifelong friends and the atmosphere is awesome! I'll definitely be back soon! read more

This is my favorite salon in town. Nick is an amazing stylist, and always patient with my questions. I love that I can book and be seen so quickly, as this is not always the case at upper-end salons. The environment is awesome: they always offer me a drink and all the trashy magazines I can read. I recommend this place to all my friends. Make sure you see Nick! read more

Price is not so whimsical her but great you find with the men's hair cut as well. The personable person as here is always awesome and experience with the button line of the service by the skilled person with comfort feeling is the pre-ensuring matter of the place for each time I will be back for their outstanding deal of time and location as well. read more
