I can say that the young woman who booked my appointment wasn't very pleasant when taking my information, she seemed to be in a rush and a tad condescending. If I tell you it's my first time, this may imply that I don't know your 9 minute late policy. All policies are not self explanatory, btw. Anyway, I was able to get an appointment the same day I called, within a couple hours time, so it is very convenient to be seen on short notice. Despite the young lady at the front desk (wish I got her name), I can say I had a great experience overall. My wax was done by Shaneka who made me feel comfortable and at ease. She thoroughly explained each step to me which kept me in the loop about the entire process. She even pitched products they had for sale, not in a pushy way but actually was informative about the benefits. She is a great conversationalist and gave a relatively painless wax. I do plan to return in the near future.

I went to this location on my birthday as a treat to myself as I do every year on my birthday and this year I not only tried a new location, I also added on a facial. My swedish massage was with Jalisa, she did a great job, was very nice to chat with and had my body feeling relaxed after. She worked on my problem areas that needed attention. (I really wanted a deep tissue, but with all the confusion of my appointment that got lost in translation) The highlight of this visit was the facial. This was my first time and Jane has made me want to come back more regularly to get one. It was awesome. Jane gave me great tips on facial care and how to maintain my skin.

I was informed of the cancellation policy as well and the staff was helpful and friendly over the phone. This put my mind at ease after being previously anxious to try waxing at a spa that I'd never visited. I had such a wonderful experience during my first appointment. My esthetician, Rory Exton, was kind, genuine, and welcoming and put my mind at ease, especially after I detailed my past not-so-great waxing experience at a different facility. Throughout my appointment, she led me through the process and gave me tips and tricks for lessening pain (which worked) and for aftercare. She made me feel right at home and truly safe and the entire staff was just as kind and welcoming as she was. I went ahead and booked my next appointment with Rory and I look forward to visiting Club West Med Spa next month knowing I am in good hands!
