I've been waffling over whether to write this review for over a month, as I know a negative review can really impact salons, but I think my experience should be shared. I went to Studio Booth about a month ago. It was my first time there and I made an appointment with Izear, a senior stylist, for a cut and low lights on my medium-dark brown hair. The studio is in a convenient location with lots of parking, and it's very nicely decorated on the inside. I asked for just a trim, and Izear recommended cutting off a little more than an inch so my ends would be even, to which I agreed. On the plus side, he didn't take off more than he said he would. However, the cut looked oddly unfinished. It looked like how my hair used to when my mom would cut it with the kitchen scissors so everything was a uniform length. Except... it wasn't uniform. Once I got home and ran my hands through it a bit, I realized there were several pieces that were uneven and had been entirely missed, sticking out about an inch longer than the other hairs. For the hair color, Izear advised me that low light probably wouldn't show up much on my hair. Since I was looking to create some contrast, he recommended doing caramel highlights instead. I agreed and he got to work. When he was done and the foils were out and my hair was blow dried and we were looking at it in the mirror, I couldn't see the highlights. Izear told me they were subtle but definitely there and it was just the lighting in the studio. Unfortunately, it wasn't just the studio lighting. When I got home and looked at it under my bright bathroom lights, I saw that the highlights were only visible at my roots. I've got about 2-3 inches of caramel highlights at the top of my head. The color developed faster on the roots of my hair than my ends, with the end result being caramel roots and not much of anything at the ends. The following day, I got an email with a survey from Studio Booth asking how my experience had been. I was able to provide details of my experience. At this point I felt relieved. I thought a manager would call and offer to fix my uneven ends and redo the color. It would have been a little awkward if I'd run into Izear, but after spending $180 plus tip for the cut and color, I thought I could handle a little awkwardness in order to get my hair fixed. Except.... no one ever reached out to me. I waited days. Weeks. A month. It's now been 6 weeks since my haircut and color and no one from the salon has called. read more

Okay! From the top I went here in February (2023) and asked for emerald green (which is a super dark color) and I got the equivalent of grass green. We got lost in translation, it was a while ago. Anyways. I went there today and got my hair done in blue after all the green had faded out and I loved it. My hair looks really cool, and it feels refreshing. The first time I went I got purple done and I loved it too, so it's really a 2/3 and it's a good place. I recommend asking for a senior hair dresser. Sometimes they'll get it wrong and that's why you have to mention you don't like it (which I did not have the guts to do at the time when I got it done in green) Always give a place a second chance. Glad I did. The atmosphere is fun, and everyone is so nice. And yes, most other places charge the same rates, and in my option, totally deserve the money. read more

I AM WARNING YOU DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR HAIR HORRIBLY MESSED UP WITH NO REFUND. I had never been here before but saw they had good reviews so I decided to give it a try. I went in for a perm and my stylist was very nice and we had a great conversation, but at the end he started cutting my layers without asking, but I was fine with it, as I assumed that he would do an amazing job since the place seemed very professional. NOPE. The pictures attached are what I was left with, and I only noticed 24 hours later when I washed my hair. Obviously I was very upset, the layers were done horribly and after I straightened my hair to see the full extent of the damage it looked like my hair had been chopped off with an axe. My highlights were cut off, instead of layers they left me with steps! As a result I had my friend cut off the dark parts of my hair so that I could at least walk outside without feeling embarrassed. I did NOT want to cut my hair, but it looked so horrible I literally had no other choice. I then called the place to see if I could get a refund. The owner eventually called me, and was NO help at all and was so unbelievably unprofessional. I explained to her what happened and she didn't believe me until I sent her pictures, she said things like "We have very trained people here who know what they're doing" when I tried to explain to her what happened, she kept shutting me down and acted as if I was making it up. I was not calling to cause issues, I just wanted to get a refund since I had spent $220 on the entire service alone, not to mention a $44 tip, and ended up with half of my hair chopped off. She said that they do not do refunds here, and that instead I could come in and they could fix it for me. Well, I do not live in Pittsburgh, I was home for spring break and was already back at college, so that was not a possibility. But also, why would I trust them to ever touch my hair again? I explained this to her, and asked again for a refund, and she said AGAIN that she cannot give me a refund. This is when I sent her the pictures of my hair. She then said she would talk to the stylist who did this to me and call me back. She talked to him, and do you want to know what he said to her? She told me that HE SAID I CAME INTO THE SALON WITH MY HAIR CUT LIKE THAT?!?! Which is obviously not true at all!! I came in with normal hair! So not only did he mess up my hair, but he also refused to take accountability for it! After probably 15 minutes of going back and forth with this woman she EVENTUALLY agreed to make a "one-time going above and beyond exception" and give me a PARTIAL refund for what happened to my hair. I told her no, I want a full refund, because I can't wear it in a perm now, or else my hair is going to be up to my cheeks because of how much I had to cut off due to your services. She said that no one forced me to cut my hair and that they could've fixed it. Again I told her that I had to cut it because of how badly they butchered it. I was beyond frustrated at this point and told her if I do not get a refund I am going to leave a review on my experience here. SHE LITERALLY LAUGHED AND TOLD ME THAT IF I LEAVE A REVIEW I WILL NOT GET MY PARTIAL REFUND. She also said something along the lines of "Okay and we'll have no problem responding to you publicly", kind of insinuating that she was going to shut down whatever I had to say. So not only do these people ruin hair, lie, and refuse to take accountability, they threaten their customers as well! Like what the heck! So at that point I just accepted the partial refund and hung up the phone. I did get my partial refund ($95) but now I am writing this review to warn everybody of this place. I never leave reviews but this situation left me so upset and frustrated and I could not believe the lack of professionalism or care. I have never experienced something like this, and I was in shock at how horribly I was treated by this woman. I want to start this review by saying that the salon itself is beautiful! Well maintained, clean, and most of the staff is very kind and helpful. After my experience (and complaints), My service was comped and the owner was extremely apologetic. I am open to giving them another shot! However, I went in for a gel manicure the other day. Simple, right? I was scheduled with a woman named Susan, who was one of the rudest, most condescending and patronizing women I've ever met. It took her 40 minutes just to take the polish off my nails. I just had regular gel on from a previous appointment elsewhere. Picking out a nail color was a whole different ordeal. I said a light pink. She hands me a palette of colors from their new "spring shipment" (blues, oranges, yellow, etc). I said can I see your pinks. She brings back 2 other colors, not what I wanted, and asked to see the available colors they had and pick one. She hastily opens the drawer and throws the colors down onto the table. They didn't have what I wanted, so I settled for something kind of similar. A regular gel manicure took almost an hour and a half. I was her only client. When she was filing my nails, half of them were lopsided or slanted. I asked her to even them out (this was apparently a huge inconvenience to her), and she told me she "didn't know what I wanted her to do, I wasn't giving her a lot to work with in the first place". My nails were not short at all... I told her that she didn't have to be rude about it, and she replied that she wasn't being rude Never trimmed my cuticles either. Acted like she didn't want to be there, and wasn't accommodating at all to simple requests. When I went to check out, I had to say something. Apparently people complain about her frequently and this is not the first time she's been nasty to a guest. Why is she still working there ????? I am willing to give the salon another shot with a different stylist, I really wanted to like it! I've been getting my nails done for about 5 years now and I have never had an experience like this. Absolutely love this place, I never have to look for another salon ever again! I live an hour and a half away, though im so glad that the other reviews lead me to this salon. I was looking for a really subtle balayage and was kindly introduced to Molly by the wonderful people at the front desk. We scheduled an appointment soon after and I've never been so happy with my hair or the experience at a salon! Everyone was so inviting and acknowledged the covid protocols throughout my visit. Molly is so down to earth and I loved every minute of my experience with her and Chow and ended up with the most beautiful hair for Graduation! She listened to me and all of my hair needs and cut/styled my hair perfectly then introduced me to new products to achieve the look I wanted long term - and their salon products are the same price, if not, cheaper than online! This was mindblowing to me as I'm so used to 50%-75% markups at Salons. Three weeks later I was loving the way my hair looked with the new products she showed me , though since I wasn't used to color on my dark hair I felt that I needed a more subtle look so I booked an appointment to come back and darken the color at the roots. Molly was so understanding and accommodating and did just the trick to darken up the color and I couldn't be happier! She was gracious enough to only charge me for the color for this visit since it was to fix up the color. If you're looking for a forever salon in this area, this is it! My 2nd time to visit this salon! 1st visit was a little awful, I didnt like my first haircut. I asked for some side bangs and told her not too short, but it came out short . A little disappointed, but didnt make a big deal out of it. I guess she didnt listen . Then I decided to give it another try, and I requested for Lizzy! Oh men!! She did a fantastic job! She is a pro, she knows what the client wants, she listens (which is very important) and at the same time she can still execute her style, which I really like! My hair turned out really good! Studio Booth is a salon that has many talented professionals, including my stylist, John, who I have been a loyal client of for several years. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of the management, particularly Jeff Natale. Recently, I had an unfortunate and unforeseen work-related circumstance that prohibited me from keeping an appointment. On the day of my scheduled appointment with John, I learned that there would be a 25% workforce reduction in the organization for which I am employed and that a mandatory conference call was scheduled the same time as my appointment with John. I had to be on the call and had no choice but to reschedule. I called the salon immediately and told them of my situation and asked to reschedule sometime within the next two days. I was told however, that I would be charged for scheduled services because I was "cancelling" the same day despite my specifically requesting to reschedule. The receptionist however said John could waive the charges if it was agreeable to him, which it was. I was very grateful to John for understanding my situation, looked forward to scheduling an appointment with him soon and thought the situation resolved. However, my call was transferred to Jeff and he informed me that John could not make that decision because according to the salon's policy, I would be charged regardless. Jeff was unwavering in his enforcement of this policy. He turned a blind eye to the fact that this was the first and only time I could not keep an appointment on the scheduled day nor took into account that I had been a long-standing loyal customer. He tone was apathetic at best. I fully understand that COVID must be impacting the salon's bottom line and how challenging that must be and for that I am sorry. But COVID is affecting many of our lives and livelihoods, myself included. Yet, Jeff lacked any empathy for the situation I found myself in though it was through no fault of my own. On Studio Booth's homepage, Jeff's bio states that he is a forward-thinking leader with creative problem-solving skills to address business growth. In my experience, Jeff demonstrated none of these attributes. Whether his decision was his alone or was directed from his employer, Jeff's business acumen was quite short-sighted. I was charged $150.00 for services that were never rendered. But, had Jeff truly been a forward-thinking leader and customer-centric, he would have understood the impossible position I was in, extended a one time waiver for the cancellation fee based on my history with the salon and retained a loyal client. But since that was not the case, I will take all my business elsewhere. So Jeff's action did not grow the business but, instead lost it. read more

I went here because of a Forbes magazine article extolling its safety. It didn't mention employees decide what I want without asking. What I got was not what I wanted. She didn't ask. After trimming my right sideburns, she shaved off my left. She said she heard me say I was going to shave my beard. I didn't say that or anything close. So she had to shave off the right sideburns. Excuse me while I rant about how poor this business' poaching behavior was today. I've been to studio booth about 7--9 times (every 4-5 months)---my most recent haircut was around July 11th. After I get a haircut, they never have called me afterward (perfectly acceptable). My stylist and former neighbor worked here, and I would go to get my haircuts from him since he always gave me an excellent cut. The last time I got a haircut, though, he was sick; the lady who cut my hair, Tina, messed it up after I gave clear and simple instructions on how to manage my two front cowlicks---not to mention she was as likable as a proctology exam. Well, my stylist recently left and messaged me this morning that he will now be at a new location. Okay, I thought, "I'll go there next time." That should be the end of the story, right? WRONG. Not more than two hours later I get a phone call saying "Hello, my name is __ (Julie?) from Studio Booth, we see that you just had an appointment on July 11th and we're wondering how it's working out for you, and do you want to schedule another appointment?" Honestly, my draw dropped, and I just said, "[My stylist] just told me he is moving to Capristo, so, I'm just going to go there." Thinking to myself, why the hell are they trying to poach me? DISGUSTING behavior. The lady on the phone even scoffed. I understand businesses do their thing, and this might be standard practice, but it's disgusting. I made an account to review them. Some bigwig thinks it's okay to do this, so I wish I could name-and-shame them, and chastise them for this reprehensible behavior, alas, I don't know who ordered this 'Becky' to attempt to poach me and cop an attitude with me. read more

I had an appointment with Izear. He did an excellent job on my blow out. Since the appointment was during COVID-19, I felt really safe.

I'm just so disappointed because the first two times I went, I loved my hair. The third time, meh. Fourth time...so so. And then the last time I went I got the worst hair cut I have ever had. Heres what happened the last 3 times I went... I know how busy salons are on Saturdays. But I go, I get in the chair, I tell the stylist what I want and EVERY time i ask for layers. Then, we get to cutting. She cuts the length off my hair, and then an assistant comes over and lets the hairdresser know that her next client is there, and then I am out of the chair. I ask, "Can you put layers in?" and am told they are there. And I get so frustrated i just leave. I'm tired of being rushed out of the chair, and I'm tired of not being listened to and not getting what i want. The last time I was there i got the worst hair cut I have ever had in my life and will never go back. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the salon. I had an appointment at 9am and then when I walked in and met the hairdresser she said she couldn't do my hair because she doesn't do foil highlights so they told me to come back at 3pm to get my hair done by someone who could do it. I am annoyed but I come back and I get belittled and talked down to. Then while he was aggressively highlighting my hair he hits me in my eye and says sorry but that wasn't on purpose....uhh excuse me?! Bleh. Not the place to go for a pedicure, that's for sure. I made appointments for my Mom and I on a Saturday afternoon. Having checked out the website, I tried to register and secure the dual appointments online; however, their site isn't sophisticated enough (yet) to allow for booking more than one slot at a time. So, I ended up calling to make the appointments the old fashioned way and spoke with a human being. She was friendly and booked the spots for my mom and I. Oddly enough, she didn't say anything about what type of pedicure we wanted (there are three of different types listed on the menu of services), so I figured the front desk or technician would clarify with us at the time of the appointment. We walked in to quite a frenzy at the front desk area. Both cashiers were busy, so we were ignored for five minutes until things cleared out a bit. We checked in and were told to wait in the seating area. Our technicians came to get us and we were escorted back to the pedicure area. At this point I started to regret picking this salon for a pedicure and not my usual cheaper nail salon... Studio Booth definitely is more of a hair-focused salon. Tons of stylists here! The pedicures were sub-par. I was majorly bummed at the lack of a leg massage as well. Basically non-existent. As we were checking out afterwards, the girl at the desk tried to charge us $55 each!!! You've got to be kidding me. I am usually never one to argue, but we did NOT receive the spa pedicure- what we had was basically less than I am accustomed to at a cheaper nail only salon. I explained to the cashier that not only did the girl on the phone not specify what type of pedicure to book us for, neither of our technicians did either, so we assumed it was just the basic $40 option (especially with the lack of anything additional, including a calf massage!). She snottily replied to me that the $40 pedicure is, "basically just a glorified polish change" - Um, yeah. Whatever. Finally, she obliged and agreed to charge my Mom the $40 price, saying that they were "training new people". I was charged $45 as apparently it was $5 extra for a bit of nail glue on my big toe due to a cracked toenail. Not a great experience - hopefully the hair services exceed the pedicures! read more

I just happened to find this place after a Trader Joe's shopping spree. Badly in need of a brow wax, I dropped in to make an appointment. A few days later, I saw Julie for my appointment. The rooms where they wax are peaceful, with calming music piped through. You feel as relaxed as you can be - which is important, since waxing makes some people anxious. Wendy did a great job, and she used hard wax at my request (not paper strips) which I think makes for a MUCH better and less painful wax. She clearly knew a lot about shaping, and I feel like I really benefited from her expertise. I don't feel like I had just my eyebrows "cleaned up," there's actually a strategy in place to build and maintain a shape. Impressed, I returned a few days later for a much-needed haircut and partial highlights. Wendy did both services. She gave me a tour of the salon first, which was nice, and then I got to learn what other services they provide. All the decor, from the waiting room to the styling areas to the shampoo tubs, is sleek and sophisticated. Julie did a great job on my highlights, matching my existing blonde color perfectly. She listened when I explained how I like my hair to be cut, and also gave input of her own which was helpful. She cut it skillfully, and I got lots of compliments on my pretty straight hair. I got it done on Saturday, and I was able to go without washing it until Wednesday, and it still looked pretty (with a few flat iron touchups!) Today is the first day I've worn it curly since she cut it, and fortunately it still looks great. The length is really perfect. I'm definitely a fan - talented stylists and a classy atmosphere. I also brought a product - something like Moroccan Curl Oil - which is a great, non-sticky replacement for my old drugstore curl gel. It was expensive, but I like what it does for my hair! The place is pricey though - it's what you expect to see at a high end salon, however, so I think it's definitely appropriate. You get what you pay for, but not everyone will be able to pay for it. I've been there four times, three of which were for nail services: 2 pedis, 1 mani. Everything was great these three visits--definitely worth five stars. The other time, however, was for a hair cut, and this alone is why I gave them three stars. My medium curly hair is sometimes a challenge for stylists. I have a regular salon where they always make me look my best, but they couldn't take me when I needed, so I decided to splurge and go to Booth, figuring that I would be in capable hands at a high-end salon. Not so. The cut itself was fine and what I asked for, but the style...wow...atrocious. I do tend to exaggerate at times, but this was really, inarguably atrocious. I was so embarrassed to walk out into the lobby that, as soon as I left the mirror, I had to tug and smooth and rearrange it ferociously, hoping the stylist wouldn't see. I'll try my best to explain the 'do in all of its horrid glory. After the stylist was done applying entirely too little styling product and drying it, it looked like a ball of fuzz. Realizing this, he grabbed some smoothing cream and proceeded to twist large sections of hair into greasy, fuzzy ringlets. Yes, ringlets. Big, fat, half-a**ed ringlets. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, and I'm entirely too polite to ask him how much crack he was smoking when he asked if I liked it. Needless to say, I will NEVER go there for hair again, and unfortunately I can't remember the stylist's name or I would certainly divulge it. read more

I absolutely love Studio Booth. John cuts my hair, and he is fantastic. I've sent four other people to him, and all of their hair looks fabulous too. We all get compliments. My husband goes there too. He uses Annie. She is the ONLY person who is allowed to touch my husband's hair because she's a miracle worker with his ridiculously thick mop. As for the salon itself, all of the employees are at the top of their game: friendly and with impeccable timing. You walk in, and they immediately greet you. You sit down, and they get a coffee or tea in your hand. Best of all, they are not at all pretentious about it. They just seem happy to work with you. Just go there. You will love it. Hands down it beats that "other" high-end salon in East Liberty... especially since they won't spend the entire time trying to sell you Bumble and Bumble products that you don't need, don't want, or can't afford. (Although I do love me some Bumble and Bumble, I want it on my terms.) read more

I am moving to Cranberry but will still make the drive to come here every six weeks. Imagine being treated like royalty with a stylist that really knows what they are doing. I love that it is obvious I am not loaded but they treat me like I am. My boyfriend even goes here (he converted from supercuts, this says a lot). The owner is great, my stylist Stephanie is great! I am pretty conservative but she does such a great job I find myself saying the words, "I trust you, do you what you think will look good," and I always love it. read more

Since moving to Pittsburgh last year, I had yet to find someone I trusted with my hair. I had tried a few other spots before someone recommended Studio Booth. I was extremely impressed with the customer service I received while making the appointment. I was equally impressed with professionalism I received upon arriving and the decor was gorgeous! I have been a client here since they opened day one, ten years ago. I followed my stylist (absolute BEST in the city (Lyndsay) from another salon. I have been a loyal customer of the salon and have to say that the owner is really not a smart business professional. He is taking advantage of the Covid pandemic and trying to profit from it...disgraceful! They charge an additional $5 every time you go to the salon....it's not the money...it's the fact that they try and hide it from the customer!!!! It's a charge that appears on the bottom of the bill. After paying this charge 5 times , today I asked...what does this charge provide me? The sweet girls (who likely deal with crap all day long provided me with the canned talking points. I asked to speak with Ronnie the owner. He declined my request and I got the "manager". This is where my true disbelief stems from.... he offered to sit with me in the couch in the main lobby of the salon and this was how the conversation went: Me: can you explain to me what the $5 I'm paying every time I come to the salon is for Manager: it's to help us defray costs associated with Covid Me: such as? Manager: we provide a mask and we clean very throughly after each client. Me: and that costs $1000 a day?? He said where did that come from? I said that Ronnie did an interview with KDKA and said that the salon averages 200 clients a day...at $5 each that's $1000. The manager very flippantly said he would waive the fee for today " if the $5 was that important to me"! Yep he said that! I told him I didn't care about the money...I cared that there is NO SIGNAGE. anywhere that says I was being charged this! It's NOT on on the website, posted on the front door or ANYWHERE IN THE SALON. This leads me to believe that the intent is to PROFIT...tacky and disgraceful! By the way, during the interview Ronnie says that each customer would receive: A mask Gloves Booties Disposable cape .....the only thing they gave was a cheap, I'll fitting single layer mask....which cost about a dime!!!! This is shameful and just plain old bad business practices. The manager said he didn't want to speak with me because I was so angry and should lower my voice. I had a mask on and my daughter standing 3 feet away couldn't hear me. He said I should have asked for a private meeting if I intended to expose this situation in HIS main lobby in front of other customers. Remember, he invited me to sit on the couch. I can tell you, I wasn't angry, I was trying to get a straight answer...which I didn't. He played the "you're an angry woman card"....are you kidding me?!?!? Needless to say I told him he was UNPROFESSIONAL....he then stood at the front counter glaring at me while I paid for my daughters haircut....I guess he was trying to intimidate me? . I wasn't intimidated, just annoyed by he total lack of professionalism and his inability to discuss why they were using the Covid pandemic to profit. Ronnie, you should take the cheap sign down that is flapping across the window of the salon...because you don't care about your clients that have supported you for 10 years. You are a true phony and fake....just like the handicap sign that you use in your car to park in handicap spots...I've seen you at Whole Foods...just tacky and so shameful! read more

I have only been here one time to get a gel mani (so far!), but I love it and will surely be back. From the moment you walk in you feel completely welcome. The girls at the front desk are so welcoming. I was greeted immediately and told to have a seat. It was only a few short minutes until Andrea came to greet me. She is great! She knows what she is doing and seems to really enjoy what she does, which is great. She was extremely friendly and explained the salon to me since it was my first time there. I am glad she did because I did not realize just how much they do there! The whole salon was very clean and organized. I loved it. I love this place, it is the first place like this in Pittsburgh that I have found. I come from a city with places that like a bit of luxury and this place is right up there with it. While it is a bit intimidating when you walk in the people at the front desk are very nice and not at all snobby as what you find in other similar places. I've been a client for about a year and after trying a few stylists I landed on Annie as my top choice. She understands exactly what I'm asking for and asks for feedback throughout the service to be sure she's delivering what I'm expecting. She also takes time to provide tips and tricks for taking care of and styling my hair. I'm very pleased with her services and the salon overall. Yes, it's pricey, but I do think you get what you pay for here. The staff members I regularly encounter are friendly and professional. The only negative I have to share is the incredibly pushy woman at the front of the salon aggressively selling Babor skincare. I have been getting manicures and pedicures for most of my adult life, so I know what I am saying when I say that Susan is the best. I have my own nails (no gel or tips) and the manicure stays wonderfully not only when I leave the salon but for the two weeks until I go back. The salon is very clean (not all salons - especially nail salons are) and the environment is classy but not too fussy. I cannot recommend Susan more highly - definitely worth a 5-star review! read more

Amazing space that you wouldn't know is there until you walked through the door. It's like night and day from outside to inside. I was in desperate need of a hair cut and was able to get in same day to see Rae. She was great! I haven't been this happy with a hair cut in forever! The prices aren't the lowest, but how often do you really get your hair cut. Definitely worth it to treat yourself to a wonderful hair cut. I was a walk-in appointment on a Friday. I was also fortunate enough to have ran into one my favorite colorists who has apparently been working there for two years. I knew this place would be amazing with I saw he was on staff. Sadly, one of the pains of being in graduate school is the lack of money. I lost track of the best colorist while I was still a student. Let me say, he is absolutely the most talented and amazing colorist I have ever had color my hair [which says a lot I am a highlight snob I've been to all the big name salons throughout Pittsburgh and suburbs]. I have had men compliment my hair. Men. Since when do men pay attention to a woman's hair? They do when he does the color, cut and style! Yes, if you want any sort of color service that will look simply beautiful: see MATTHEW. My stylist on the day of my walk-in was Rae. Great chic. Very personable, friendly, and helpful. My hair cut was executed perfectly. I also inquired about other services and I will be able to update my review in the next two weeks about how those services went after I receive them! Matthew has become one of my favorite people ever!! He has saved my wild curly hair. I use to color color color it and he eased me of the color and has my hair looking better than ever. Prices are great, but sadly, the product is not. After I couldn't see my regular hairdresser, I made an appointment here. My colorist seemed to do a decent job, but the haircut itself was a disaster. Layers were severely uneven (I tried to have her fix it while still in the chair, but I realized it was hopeless). Then, as my hair started to grow out, I could see that the color had broken/damaged my hair around my face, and many of the highlights had bled, causing large chunks of blond streaks. Sadly, the prices and courteous staff do not make up for my sub-par cut and color. read more

So disappointed I could just cry!! Went in for a trim and ended up with the shortest hair ever. Specifically stated I just wanted an inch off and I ended up with 2-3 inches off. It is so short and so full of layers that it can't be fixed unless I shave it all off. I am just heartbroken. Why is it that hairstylist don't listen to their clients and come to a mutual understanding before just cutting into the hair. Never ever again. I have found this location to be very convenient for handicapped as well as plenty of parking availability. You will find a setting that makes you feel very comfortable but yet is very professional. Sumptuously designed, elegant, upscale. The place is super busy. There's a great energy and relaxing atmosphere about it. When it came to the actual beauty services, though, there was much left to be desired. Clients are left waiting well beyond their scheduled appointment times, then rushed during delicate chemical processes, sacrificing the end product. I went from a red head to a blonde and Lindsay eased me into blonde and each step my hair looked so beautiful. I don't have the best hair and she really makes me feel great everytime. The employees here are very kind and friendly people. Their Covid procedures make you feel safe. However, every time I get my hair done here, I end up leaving in tears. It's not that it is bad, per-say, but it is nothing close to what I asked for. For the price, I would expect to leave with the color I asked for or at least something close. The hair cuts are completely fine, but if you are looking for something specific regarding color, choose another option. I even mentioned it wasn't as dark as I had asked for but that changed nothing. I was told the brown I was given was more natural than the black I had asked for. While that's a great opinion, I'm upset I had to pay for something I absolutely did not want. I now have to go to a different salon tomorrow to have them fix it. read more
