On September 8th, Owner Sarah Wood at Studio 20 on Royal Oaks Blvd, Franklin did a very poor job at cutting & coloring my blond hair. Very pricy for her errors.....Went into this Salon light blond & came out a dishwater blond color, horrible. Please beware of this stylist as very poor quality of work administered...even gave her a copy of my hair formula on our first consultation...... read more

I've been seeing Sarah (the owner) for a little over a year now and she is awesome! She is super talented, nice, funny and so willing to do whatever I want with my hair. She has great ideas also, for those times when I'm not sure what I want to do. I told my mom to go see Sarah and now she has become a regular client as well. BEWARE if you go here for a Brazilian Blowout! Even though Studion 20 is certified to do the treatment, owner/stylist Sarah Wood encouraged me to go home with the treatment still on my hair, and then to rinse and apply a masque at home within 24 hours. The smell of the product woke me in the night and after googling I discovered the instruction sheet on brazilianblowout.com says "DO NOT leave solution in hair" and that the Ionic Bonding Spray (and not a masque) is actually the next step of the treatment. I returned the next day to have the treatment completed. Sarah was not in. Charity, who finished my treatment, insisted on still using the masque after the rinse, claiming instructions to them from Brazilian Blowout had changed and that the ingredients in the spray and masque were the same anyway. I emailed Brazilian Blowout later to query this, and Ed at customer service replied that the treatment absolutely has to be finished with the Ionic Bonding Spray. He advised me to return the same day (for the 3rd time!) to have my hair washed and the spray applied since that "should help" my treatment be done more properly. I am disappointed that the treatment I paid $180 for was not done properly, and in retrospect I suspect that this was all done to save the owner/stylist, Sarah, time and money. I will not be going back to Studio 20. I cannot trust the stylists at this salon. read more

I walked right in and got a haircut with no wait. It was $15 for a men's cut, and they did a decent job.

When I sat down at the stylists chair, she didn't sweep up the previous persons hair before me from the floor. I stepped over it, which was seriously a lot of hair, and sat down. Within a few minutes, she dropped her comb into the hair on the floor, picked the comb off the ground, and kept using it on my hair. She did this twice! So who knows what hair funk got on me from the floor and the previous persons hair. Totally grossed out. Very unprofessional. Doubt I'll be going back. read more

Yeah - done now - I have literally lost 6 inches for bad hair trims - if I wanted a blunt cut I would have asked fir it - really done after my last visit fir multiple reasons , first off the woman there are not really ' friendly' , they are rather snooty and maybe only nice when it serves them one in perticular who is really all high n mighty is hope - she kind of gives ya that look you are not good enough to even talk to her, I have no idea who the owner is but if she's the skinny short blonde well she's never said one word to myself or other customers I have brought into the salon for services , plus I think I was overcharged for services this last time - there is absolutely no way to confirm pricing / was recently told they all charge different and they. Am pretty much charge whatever they want - that's a red flag to me - also their website ya gone so no pricing not even ranges to see there or on the Facebook page - I think that any business should be grateful to have customers bc well that's how they earn their money but I say to this place / are y'all willing to lose not just one but 4 customers bc y'all make me feel like a leper when I visit - sorry my presence is inconvenient - I will find a salon that appreciate my business and those other customers I bring in - this place is not all that clean btw - I never see the combs or brushes they use on me coming out of a jar of cleaner - they are usually picked up from the counter where they were just used in someone else - yuck! read more

I got my hair cut, colored, and highlighted at Studio 20 for the first time this week. A friend recommended Hope after hearing I was looking for a new stylist. I need convenience, and thankfully this is close to where I work. She was attentive, listened to my needs, offered great customer service and beauty advice, and styled my hair perfectly. She freshened up my look and I love it! I called a bigger salon with several locations around Nashville and Franklin, and got horrible customer service when I called (and before I ever got in the door). I guess I'm thankful that happened because I found this little jewel of a salon right after. I'm looking forward to making this my regular salon, with Hope as my stylist. The price is very reasonable too, which is wonderful! I highly recommend Studio 20. Everyone is very nice and the customer service is awesome. read more

Based upon my recent very negative experience with this so called business, I would suggest future customers ignore the "walk ins welcome" sign, especially if you are an older gentleman. I arrived several days ago shortly after they opened; two other customers were seated in the small waiting room while the stylists were in the back room. When the three stylists finally came out, one customer was invited to her chair....a second stylist sat checking out her phone (of course), while the third simply walked back and forth between her station and the check in desk. NOT ONCE was my presence so much as acknowledged nor was I ever informed when a stylist would be available for a walk in. No one said a word! After 15 minutes I left this pathetic establishment and needless to say will not be eating my time "walking in" again! read more

Worst haircut and color I have ever had!!! Sarah, the owner cut and colored my hair. I walked out and went straight to a "High-in" salon! I thought that the owner would at least be a talented stylist, however I was completely unhappy and I expressed my concerns. This woman was so rude and hateful. She also talked to me about her employees and how she was displeased with their professionalism. I would say this salon needs to call Tabitha! Worst Salon ever, and it is soooo dirty! Walked in today 20 minutes before my appointment. No one greeted my and my stylist was relaxing on the sofa with her eyes closed. Ummm, okay maybe she's on break. So I wait quietly for my 3:00 appointment that I made in person last Thursday. Five minutes before 3:00 a mother with 2 teen boys walk in without an appointment, greeted right away AND my stylist took one of the boys to her station!!! Now either someone screwed up last Thursday and didn't write down my Monday appointment (however I do have a card for my September appointment) or someone else doesn't look at the appointment book, doesn't care about getting a new customer or getting a great tip. Regardless....IF THEY WOULD HAVE GREETED ME WHEN I WALKED IN MY HAIR WOULD HAVE BEEN DONE IN TIME FOR THE 2 TEEN WALK-INS!!! Sorry... I won't be back, my daughter (cut and color) won't be back.
