Service is outstanding. A ver clean environment including the bathroom. Spotless. There's a nice waiting area with tv if you choose. A small refrigerator holds items from soda to beer. Each stylist has their owns room so the area is private. I had a great scissor cut with the only clippers used were around my ears and my neck after which hot foam was used prior to straight razor on my neck. Great stuff. This was actually my third time, I've just been slacking. I'll continue to have my haircare at Refine Mens Salon. Brittany takes care of me and is wonderful. read more

Highly recommend. After searching through a few disappointing cuts after moving to the area, very happy to have found THE RIGHT PLACE in Franklin for men's styling. Located in "My Salon Suite", where there are quite a few individual salon rooms in use by individual stylists. Refine takes up several spaces, one for each stylist and one for a reception desk. Makes your cut private, comfortable and relaxing. Plenty of easy parking. Erin is fabulous. Talented, friendly and engaging. I was nervous given the current pandemic, but was incredibly impressed by the salon's professionalism and how sparkling clean the establishment was. I felt amazing the entire time--from the receptionist meeting me at the door through their contactless payment process. For the haircut itself, it was one of the best stylings I've had in many years. After not getting a haircut in almost 3.5 months, Chrystal did a phenomenal job providing a consultation and crafting one of the sharpest cuts I've had in years. Just had an awesome experience with Erin at Refine. I've been to four or five different salons lately trying to find a stylist who could replicate one of my favorite haircuts from a photo of me. No one else has come close other than Erin! The space was stylish, clean, and followed mask protocols, which I especially appreciated since others in the area are more lax these days. Erin was great to work with, too. Very relatable and knowledgeable and just fun. She took the time to walk me through my styling, too, so that I could recreate it at home. I was in need of a transformative look for an interview and was a little concerned since all of the reviews for this salon had been buried. Boy was I glad I came in. Not only did their grey blend service hide those greys, it also made my hair look natural and took my hair back to the days before I had 4 kids that turned 'em that color in the first place. I am not going to mention the name of the lady who cut my hair, the top of my hair was fine but the sides were not faded very well and she faded it to high. This is the only place I will go to. Best haircut I have ever gotten, and I just took my 3 1/2 year old son there as well. I'd have to say it's the best haircut he's ever gotten. Franceska is the greatest stylist ever. She cut both my sons and my hair. She completely listens to you about what you want your hair to look like, and is very friendly, patient, and doesn't rush you out. You can tell she is very talented, and takes a lot of pride in her work. It's always been a challenge to find a stylist who "gets it", but Franceska is that person! Moved into the area two years ago and picked this salon. Not a bad haircut but not great either. They'd shampoo, cut your hair, put a hot towel on your face and then style you hair with product all in 30 minutes. Many times to keep in the time period my actual haircut paid the price by not being even, top left to long etc. I got tired of trimming it myself over the next two days. For $50 bucks I shouldn't have to work on it when I got home and I had their highest paid stylist working on me. read more

Today, I witnessed one of the BEST customer service approaches I've ever seen! When I arrived for my haircut appointment, along with another customer who had an appointment at the same time as mine, the salon had just lost the stylist who scheduled for the appointment for the other customer. The owner/stylist who had my appointment apologized to the client and offered several available openings in her schedule to try and accommodate his schedule. Professionally, the owner never spoke ill of the other stylist. She tried to accommodate the client and his schedule with a TON of grace and acknowledgement of his inconvenience. Once the owner/stylist got things organized and started my appointment, she never brought up the frustrations she might have been feeling and never mentioned the challenges the salon was facing with getting other appointments rescheduled. The owner/stylist not only respected the former employee, but worked to keep the best face forward to her clients and accommodate their scheduled appointments. Kudos to Julie White and Refine Men's Salon in Cool Springs for the way the treat their customers and employees, including former employees. read more
