Korey Hutson was my barber. I didn't like the fact that barbers at Uncle Classic are ranked and priced differently based on their "skills and experience." From a client's perspective it made me feel I was somehow getting less quality of service from the same brand team. This is not how I should feel when calling for an appointment or information. But, everything happens for a reason. My experience with Korey, however it was decided that he should be paid less, was nothing short from stellar. He just wants to make me look good and carefully analyzes before making his cuts confidently. I am glad we both took a chance on each other and gained valuable perspective about relationships between a stylist and a client. Hopefully, I tipped him enough to express this. I'm not sure an extra $5 bucks up charge would have gotten me a better experience from a "better" stylist or if that amount is worth more than potentially scaring off clients from people like Korey but I have no problem with including that towards his tip instead. Trust your team and trust your talent Uncle! read more

This location continues to have solid service and atmosphere. Thank you Kerri for a great haircut and conversation today. After a not so great experience in Nolensville, it is good to have an Uncle Classic to rely on even if the drive is 3 times as long. read more

Always happy with the environment and service. Tiffany is an excellent stylist and and super patient with my nonsense! read more

Would definitely recommend uncle classic! Able to get me in that same day and did a wonderful job cutting my 1.5 year old sons hair which is not an easy job! read more

Great haircut and pleasant conversation. I easily recommend this barbershop.

Ugh, their prices went up...AGAIN! They are almost making it worth the 30 minute drive out of town to get a haircut for half the price...literally. If you're going to raise the prices, AT LEAST keep them the same for the loyal return customers! read more

Cut wasn't what we wanted but the 4 stars is for the customer service and that my child wasn't scared with the hair dresser. I fixed it at home:) read more

I desperately needed a haircut before a Monday and Uncle Classic was luckily open. I had an appointment with Marcus and he was great. He cut my hair exactly how I wanted and as soon as I walked in I was able to get my hair cut. A great barbershop overall! read more

Kenny is very professional yet down to earth with great conversation. Loved my haircut and I'm very picky!

Best haircut in years. Senior barbers are worth it! Very thorough yet quick. I really like this place.

Literally, the worst haircut I've had in the last 10 years. April. Do not go to her. Classic "tell her how u wear it and need it cut" and she cuts It some crazy other way. Unacceptable. Straight painful to wake up and look at each morning when I wake up. She shouldn't have a license. Period. If I could get my money back and knew it would lessen the sting, I absolutely would. Save yourself the anger and disappointment and go some where else. read more

Excellent service and great overall experience! They did my daughter's first hair cut and were able to be super patient and great with her wiggles. Texas is the best! read more

Just ok. Good ambiance but if we go back we will try a different barber. There are plenty of places that outshine this.

Great haircut! Great experience! Nice barbers. Would recommend. Worth the drive for me.

Love the people here and the quality of work. Cassidy has been a pleasure working with since the move to Nashville and definitely the craftsmanship of their work. It's simple enough where you can make an appointment online with the person you prefer if you have one already. I'll be back. Good people. read more

I really like Amanda . She is friendly and professional. She doses the best job of the 3 girls that have cut my hair their. I would recommend her to any man needing a hair cut. read more

Texas is an incredible asset for your team! Her ability to fade and accommodate my needs is impeccable! Amazing staff as well.

Korey is the absolute best. He cuts mine, my 16 and 18 years olds' hair. He has turned the teenagers hair into masterpieces, even when other people have destroyed it. My boys won't allow anyone else to touch their hair. He gives great advice and solid honest opinions. We are thankful that we have found him. read more

Spent $40 for a mediocre haircut. Longer in some places and shorter in others. Even showed a picture and video of what I wanted and it came out much much shorter. I spent almost three months trying to grow out my hair now I'm back at square one and have to grow it all back out again. I simply wanted a trim. I lost 90% of my hair. Don't bother with the executive hair stylists. They don't know what they're doing and absolutely not worth the extra $10. In fact don't even go here find someone that's legitimately professional. read more

They were amazing from start to finish. I was extremely nervous with it being my 1 and a half year olds first hair cut. The manager took the time out to talk to me days before the appointment to ensure they accommodate for my son. My son thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We will only being going here for his hair cuts. read more

Kenny is a pro! Gets it right every time! Hard to find a barber when your new in town, I am one lucky guy to have found Kenny!

I just moved here from Michigan and if anyone knows anything about getting your haircut you hate finding a new place to go. Well it took me three long days of searching the Internet and Instagram to make sure I found someone good, and a shop that would let you book online. Well I'm finally glad I stopped in here to get a haircut. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by two of the staff members and one politely asked if I would like anything to drink even. Kena was the woman who could my hair and she did an amazing job. I'm someone who is super picky, and she handled everything like a pro, while making sure we communicated smoothly to make sure I got the cut I wanted. I will definitely continue to get my haircut here, and I recommend you do as well! read more

Because Kenny gave me the best haircut I have had in a long time. Very professional barber. He didn't rush me in and out of the shop. I brought him pictures of what I wanted, and, he made me look like a million bucks. He will be my new regular barber. Well done Kenny! My haircut was Thurs January 21, 2021. read more

Kenny mc was awesome with my son. He had gotten a really bad haircut somewhere else and we needed someone to fix it. My son is usually really quiet around strangers, but he sure was talkative with Kenny! He did an awesome job and even showed my son how to style his new cut. read more

Tiffany is great. I enjoy the hospitality, service, and reliability. Cassidy takes care of my son and she is awesome, too! read more

I've been going to the Cool Springs location for 4 years. Kenny is the best Senior Barber and always consistent on kindness and quality. All of the hair stylists are great. If I can't get my preferred stylist I'm confident in having any other stylist cut my hair. I've never had a bad haircut no matter who cuts my hair at that the Cool Springs Location off of McEwen Blvd. Everyone is friendly and professional. Great experience every time. read more

I have been getting my haircuts from Uncles for about 3 years. At the cool springs store, I switch receiving haircuts from Kena and Kenny, depending on who's available last minute (because I'm terrible like that!). They are both excellent at what they do, and are easy to chat to. I recommend both of them! read more

Finally someone who can cut my son's longish curly hair! I didn't realize it could have "shape". Our stylist was great: nice, fun, great with my shy kids. I didn't have an appointment and the lady at the desk made it seem like I should, but we were seen like 5 minutes after we walked in. Will definitely be back! read more

Sindy is a great stylist. She takes the time to learn what I want then turn that into something that looks good.

They were professional friendly ask me questions on how I wanted my cut all thru the stages making sure it was what I wanted. Just friendly people read more

Every time I have gone to Uncle Classic Barber Shop I've received friendly service, excellent treatment and an outstanding haircut, too!

The measures you took to ensure my safety and Kena's customer service and skill as a barber is great.

I have never reviewed a barber shop before but since I had a unique experience I thought I would share! first and foremost $30 for a haircut? My hair is already short. didn't shave my neck and it was un-even... wont go there no more! read more

Darci is awesome! She takes her time and really does care about the way you look when you walk out of the shop!

I don't write many reviews but I'm happy to write this one. I had a lot of bad experiences with other barbers showing up really late to appointments, not getting the cut right, and a bunch of other stuff. But I'm glad I found this shop. They are great! read more

Jessica was an excellent barber for my sona nd I, however she has recently left, dfoes anyone know where she is cutting hair now. We would like to continue as her customers. Thanks read more

I just moved here from California and this was the second place I've gone to for a cut. The service was ok (some of the barbers were real friendly and talkative, mine was not at all). The cut was decent but the lady doing it was new to the shop and admitted that she didn't really know what she was doing when it came to guys hair. The cost was WAY too high for the quality of the place. For 30$+ most places would offer you a beer or a whiskey (this place had soda or water). This place is on par with the kind of places that charge 15-20$, but they gotta step up their game if they're to be worth 30$ read more
