I wanted to share this because I've tried quite a few places in Nashville, including some high end aesthetics practices, and nothing has compared to Jack & Jill Aesthetics and Madison Trammel. From the moment you walk in, you feel taken care of in a really genuine way. Nothing feels rushed or transactional, and the whole experience is just calm and easy. Madison really has such a great eye for detail and a very natural, balanced approach. What I appreciate most is how natural everything looks. I always leave feeling refreshed and more like myself, just a more youthful, rested version. Never overdone, never obvious, just really tasteful results. If you're looking for somewhere that really focuses on natural beauty and makes you feel comfortable the whole time, this is it. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I purchased a Groupon for two services. One service was completed, and the second was originally scheduled for last week. The office made a scheduling mistake, so we rescheduled for tomorrow. A few days before my appointment, I received a text saying I would now need to pay an additional $50 "health assessment" fee due to a new Tennessee state law. I looked into it myself and could not find any law specifically requiring this fee. More importantly, this charge is not disclosed anywhere on Groupon or on their website -- even now, after supposedly being "required." New clients are essentially being blindsided with an extra mandatory fee after booking. When I questioned it over text, I requested a phone call for clarification. The manager called me with an immediate attitude, saying, "You asked me to call you," and the conversation only got worse from there. Instead of professionally explaining the situation, I was told my choices were to pay the fee, choose a lesser-value service, or cancel. Every concern I raised was dismissed with "I'm not arguing with you." Very disappointing experience overall. Hidden fees and rude customer service are not okay, especially when customers purchase services expecting transparent pricing upfront. I will not be returning. read more

I just had a great facial with a micro dermabrasion and chemical peel with Schaeffer. I was a little nervous due to some of the reviews but had a wonderful experience. I was told upfront about the 48 hour cancellation policy. but there was no issues with that. I also used a Groupon and there were no issues with that. I got exactly what I paid for. I was offered one of their monthly specials and I declined and there was no issues and no pressure. I would definitely go back and I would love to see you Schaeffer again! Deceptive and Unethical Business Practices ! Please Avoid Jack and Jill at All Costs I had a terrible experience with Jack and Jill, and I want to warn others about their misleading contract terms and poor communication. I signed a contract for membership with them in September last year. The paperwork stated a 12-month term, but before signing, I double-checked with them about cancellation, and they assured me that as long as I gave three months' notice, I could cancel anytime. The staffs here also tell me to ignore the12 month statement when I question about it. Because of this, I explicitly added this context in my contract, so they were fully aware of the agreement. This cancellation policy also the main reason why I make the final decision. Timeline of How They Handled My Cancellation Request November 24: I sent my first cancellation notice to owner email--no reply. January 25: I followed up with another notice, and they said it was okay. This month (February): I officially confirmed the cancellation, and suddenly they backtracked, saying I couldn't cancel. Owner finally reply my email from Nov last year. Or: They claim that I can cancel, but they will still charge my account--which completely contradicts what was previously agreed. This is incredibly unprofessional and dishonest. (Only one good thing is that I like my current Cosmetologists Hannah she is awesome.) Despite my multiple proactive attempts to communicate over several months, they refuse to honor what they originally told me. Their lack of clear communication and last-minute rule-changing make them completely untrustworthy. Since they ignored my private attempts to resolve this, I'm sharing my experience publicly so others don't fall into the same trap. If you are considering signing a membership with Jack and Jill, read everything carefully, document all conversations, and don't trust any promises even u list everything there. For a split second I thought, "Wait, what? - but her skill and presence erased that instantly. She later told me she remembered my son from years ago. That kind of personal touch sticks. And then she sent a handwritten thank-you note. Funny. Sweet. Personal. Who does that anymore? She's got personality, professionalism, and that spark you can't teach. Your sales tactics are kind of used car sales bad. Don't sell Groupon and then insist somebody buy your overpriced, pre-treatment package for IPL when they are already using Retin-A,strongest thing available pre-treatment, ask any dermatologist. Your sales person, notice I didn't call her anything in the medical field because she's not, misdiagnosed me as a Fitzpatrick three when I am a one she should've asked if I had self tan, but she didn't. She was clearly very unqualified or maybe this was her first day but don't be dressed up in scrubs acting like you know something about aesthetics when you can't even answer basic questions without having to go ask somebody else. I know I'm a one because my dermatologist put it that way in the file and she is a medical doctor. Nice try trying to get people to buy your overpriced skin care by offering a Groupon for IPL. Everybody needs to know about this before they enter your place. The Groupon says you may have to purchase a skin treatment plan, not you have to. Unfortunately, this place turned out to be a scam. They advertise various Groupon deals that make it seem like you're saving money, but in reality, they hit you with hidden fees and deliver poor service. Before I was even charged multiple times for rescheduling appointments due to illness, I had already received poor service. The front desk staff are rude and unhelpful, and when I arrived for my laser hair removal session, I waited more than 30 minutes past my scheduled time to be seen. Later, I discovered $150 in charges on my credit card. When I asked about them, I was told they were fees for moving my appointments -- all of which I had rescheduled within 24 hours and only because I was sick. I even provided a doctor's note and followed up with more than 15 follow up emails over five months, but management still refused to issue a refund and only responded 5 months later. Based on other reviews, this seems to be a recurring issue with this business. To make matters worse, after months of laser hair removal treatments, all of my hair grew back. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration -- go somewhere else. You'll regret giving this place your business. read more

I visited today for a consult for vanquish ME. I want to be clear that my experience with the lady who met with me was fine. She was sweet and although new, did her best to answer my questions and tell me about the service and a few more. So this is NOT about her in any way. However, the gentleman at the front desk was hands- down one of the rudest customer service employees I've ever dealt with. From the time I checked in the sass rolled off him. That alone would've been fine, I guess. However the sweet lady who was helping me, being new,need to ask about pricing and a few other things I had asked her about. To be clear, I was looking at potentially getting several different services. Long story long, when trying to explain to him that I had had other similar services in the past at another business, he cut me off and said "if that didn't work neither will this". To which i said it did work, I was looking into different and newer procedures . To which he said well if that worked I just stay with them. This was after he told me laser tattoo removal wouldn't work either. Which is interesting because the lady doing my consult said the complete opposite. The sass with which he spoke to her and me was unreal. Rude as could be. The lady (sorry forget her name) was stunned too I could see. Question, is he the "expert" on these procedures? If so why wasn't he doing the consult? I walked out of there today with the understanding that my business was not wanted. And that's fine. I'll take it elsewhere. There are plenty of places. I will never step foot in there again. Does this gentleman own this business? If it were my business and an employee behaved this way, there would be a BIG problem. I have been going there for years ago and been very happy. However, this was worst customer service experience I have ever had. I got a call the other day asking how my Jeauveau treatment I received in February was. I didn't see any results but never called to complain. I had received Xenomin last year there and was very happy. I just planned on using a Groupon later for Xenomin later since it Corliss told me to come on in and get Xenomin. I talked to Corliss via text and he said they would give me 10 extra units for the price of 40 since I 'was underdosed'. We agreed on that. When I came in, suddenly he could only give me 64, based on 'recent manufacture recommendations ' and that I wasn't happy before. Wrong.....I am paying for this and I was happy with 40 before. I accepted 50 because I thought it might last even a little longer. Totally unethical and he was really rude and so was the injector, Morgan. I know what we agreed on and I have the texts between us. For me to drive all the way over there and then you are going to refuse me service because I refuse to pay extra? Avoid this place. Unprofessional and unethical. read more

I have been a client at Jack and Jill's Aesthetics since 2020. At the time, I was 60 years old and it was a tough time in my life due to medical issues. So, I treated myself to a first time facial. I had no idea what to expect, but the experience was phenomenal. I was treated like a princess and my face looked amazing. I almost had an accident going home because I was looking at my face in my side mirror, instead of the road. It's now 2024 and Jack and Jill is STILL amazing. When I arrive, Corliss, the Office Manager, greets me like I am his favorite customer and sets the tone for my visit. Pam is my Esthetician. She is a seasoned professional with years of diverse experience, including serving a stint as an esthetician teaching professional. The girl is bad a- -! Pam understands skin at a deep level and the chemistry behind the ZO (high end) products that they are using and doesn't mind sharing her knowledge. She is no nonsense and kind and the same time. As she gently gives me a facial, she also coaches me on what I should and BETTER be doing to maximize my results when I am not in her office. The hour goes by fast and many times, I ask, "Are we done"? I'm not ready to go. Pam makes me feel safe. One time something was going on with my skin because I was using too many non-prescribed products. She calmed me down and over a few weeks got my issues corrected. My face looks amazing ! Jessica, the Operations Manager, is excellent also. She is poised, polished, professional with a warm personality. I think it is noteworthy to mention that when I started going to Jack and Jill, they were in the Rivergate area. It was five minutes from my house. They moved to the Franklin area. I could have chosen to find another company nearby. I didn't! I moved with them. I go on Saturdays and sometimes it takes an hour to get there. My willingness to travel an hour speaks volumes about Jack and Jill. The quality of Pam's work and the outstanding customer service from Corliss makes me smile and keeps me coming back. I would be remiss if I did not mention Matt, the owner of Jack and Jill. He's extra and has high quality expectations which translates into a fabulous client experience. Annette is the BEST. This clinic is such a great choice, the staff is always super friendly, the amenities are classy and thoughtful, and the results on all procedures I've had done by Annette have been over the top wonderful. At 39 years old I opted for botox which has been AMAZING, and I also just finished my 3rd treatment of PRP hair restoration therapy and the first 2 sessions the results have already started to show; with the 3rd treatment complete I know the results are going to really kick into high gear in the coming months ahead. For anyone debating using this clinic - do it. You won't be disappointed. For anyone interested in PRP hair restoration...do it. It's so much cheaper than transplants and the results are on-par and with zero downtime for recovery...you don't have to shave your head or be left with nasty scabs as a result of he procedure. UPDATE: I received a call shortly after posting this review from Leigh, who was very nice and understanding. Unfortunately, I am past the point of wanting to do business with J+J so she referred me to the owner, Matt, for cancelling my membership. I contacted Matt on 11/3 and shared a draft copy of my complaint, and told him at this point, I am willing to accept a refund of the double charge, refund for November charge, and cancelling my membership. He has forwarded my email and my "disparaging" review to his legal counsel for advice. They apparently are very busy, so it will be another week of waiting for their advice. I wouldn't think a $198 refund and $891 in lost membership fees would warrant requiring legal advice, but what do I know. I would also think a business owner wouldn't want a dissatisfied customer coming in for the next 10 months and potentially telling all their other customers about their experience with J+J...but again, what do I know. I also just realized that J+J has changed their cancellation policy from 48 hours to 24 hours (another change that was never communicated). They do send out reminder texts, however, the texts are sent 24 hours and day of...so not really helpful if you do need to cancel. ___________________________________________________________________________ I was (technically still am) a long-time member (4+ years) and up until recently, would regularly refer people here and would have given a good review. The positives: Pamela is amazing and I love getting facials with her (she is the only reason I kept my membership going for so long). The facilities are clean, and I always found it easy to book appointments. So why the 1 star review? I have a membership for one reason and one reason only: two1-hour facials a month with Pamela. At my last appointment, I was verbally told they changed the program and my membership now only includes one 1-hour facial a month. Effectively doubling the price of service, with no notice. When I tried to cancel my membership, I was told per my contract, they need 60 day notice and my contract is not up until August 2025 (it was October 2024 at this time) so to please notify them in June 2025. And also per my contract, they have the right to change services with no notice. I asked for a copy of my contract to review the terms - no response. I asked again the following day, and was told it would be sent ASAP. It wasn't. It took three times asking for my contract before I received it. Upon reviewing my contract, yes, it sure does say they can change without notice, however it is my position doubling the price of a service is a material change, not made in good-faith, so I do not believe this is a binding agreement anymore. Interestingly, my contract also says I need to provide a 7 day notice before the last month of contract, not a 60 day notice as the office manager, Jessica, told me. Further, my contract says J+J will automatically bill me on the 1st day of each month. I looked back at my 4+ years of billings and found that 35% of the time, they were in violation of their own terms (and also double billed me one month - which I asked for a refund. And you guessed it - no response). It's also worth noting the contract has an automatic, 12-month renewal clause. J+J did not provide me any communication regarding my most recent renewal in September 2024. Their contract also requires cancellations to be in writing to an email or fax, neither of which is publicly available and only provided on a written agreement form. A new consumer protection law went into effect in TN July 1, 2024, specifically related to communication about long-term auto-renewals. I'm NAL, but the language in that bill sure is interesting, esp. given J+J's practices. Also worth noting that J+J agreements allow for them to add 18% gratuity to any service. For Groupon services, it's based on the regular price, not the Groupon price. (Just a head's up for you Groupon-ers). I tried to engage in a discussion and come up with a reasonable solution that works for both parties so we don't need to escalate to arbitration and/or an AG complaint, but the office manager, Jessica (who I thought I had a good relationship with after 4+ years), has ignored me. So I'm sharing my story so others can know what to expect if they join J+J. TL,DR: Pamela is great - go get a facial from her, but don't sign a contract with J+J. read more

I was a member for their $150 a month for most of last year. I spoke to the recipients two months ahead of cancellation in November 2020 and told them specifically I didn't want to renew. I asked them is there anything I need to sign to confirm this and they said " no you're all good". I trusted their word. I realized months later that I was being charged for every month since January of this year, and because I didn't check back and I never got a call from them that I'm being charged and no service was given I didn't know. It wasn't until September of 2021 that I realized I was being charged. I contacted the business and told them what happened and the manager said it's your responsibility and there isn't anything they can do. I explained to them that the person I spoke to and even told them homeboy it was said that I didn't need to sing anything. They didn't even give me the service and to reschedule again. My credit card company was only able to give me back 2 months worth but I'm still missing 6 months of payment and no service. They have t got back to me since then. I was really disappointed with how the treatment was especially since I was member for 4 years. read more

The office is beautiful and the staff is nice. My issue is that I've gotten Botox several times in the past and at MOST it cost me $450 and I've always been happy with the results except twice (this is over a 10 year period) so twice needing a tweak is pretty good. The place I've had rechecks, did the recheck for free. At Jack and Jill, I paid $560 for initial Botox (a lot more than I've ever paid before) and after two weeks I still had significant wrinkles. I went in to have more added (recheck/tweak) and I was shocked when the front counter guy said 'that will be $240.. umm huh? I have to pay after paying nearly $600 for Botox, you're charging me when it didn't take in a few places? Their answer 'yes, that will be $240 for today (a mere 2 weeks after shelling out the most I've ever paid before) so total came to $800 (plus tip) so I'm not happy at all that I wasn't told I would be charged for it not working basically at all except between my eyes and that wasn't too bad of an area to begin with. So, seeing they do not guarantee their work and I was blindsided, I will not be returning. It's a shame cause I would have given friends recommendations cause I along with my friends are at that age where we will spend significant $$ and stay loyal for self care. Unfortunately now I'll tell all my friends your company over charges and under delivers. Botox was only $10 a unit and in Chicago it was $13 and I still paid less than I did here.. I'd rather go to a place that isn't as pretty to look at but delivers the results. read more

I purchased a Groupon certificate to try the services at Jack & Jill Aesthetics and was definitely not satisfied. I purchased 20 units of Dysport and when I showed up to my appointment they made me aware that they were out of said "Dysport" and the injected me with something comparable to Dysport. I also bought more units (170.00). I felt as though whatever they used, didn't work at all. I saw zero difference. This was all during COVID so it was very hard to communicate with them. I was told that I could receive a "discount" on botox If I were to reschedule. NOT A REFUND but A DISCOUNT. The staff is not very friendly or knowledgeable. I also missed one appointment bc of an emergency and they charged my card and never sent me the credit that they promised so all in all, I am out $319.00. The manager had an "oh well" type of attitude bc he stated that I had 3 missed appointments which was false. I feel as though I was taken advantage of and lied to about their product. Very modern upscale boutique med spa. They have a clean, masculine type scent that is pumped through their ventilation system and that's the first thing that grabs your attention when you step inside the building. You're welcomed by a front desk that carries the look of a high end designer hotel make (think in terms of the W) and a manager named Jesse. The lobby looks small but then you walk down a hallway that seems to go on forever (decorated with modern aesthetic bodies) leading to all of the treatment rooms. You realize that there is nothing small at all about this place. So many services offered the list is endless with a dedicated working staff to guarantee the best treatments you can receive. They only sell the highest end in skincare with products that actually work. The laser tech/manager (they have a few) Jessica, knows exactly what she's doing.
