What made this even worse was the owner's response afterward, which included claims that directly contradicted my appointment confirmation and what actually happened. I had screenshots proving I was booked with Boris from the beginning. They were rude and unwelcoming and was arguing with me because they posted pricing then told me when I got there and he was already performing the service that it would be triple what was advertised!!! This place is a scam!! The lack of accountability and the way this was handled afterward was incredibly unprofessional. I would not return and would strongly caution others before booking here.

The salon is ala carte, which is helpful to understand when booking. I got a quick consult with the Curly cut expert, and I will be back for that next month along with a gloss, because Zuly told me it would make my color last longer. (Bless stylist who give good tips!) I was there for a couple hours while she worked on my hair and during that time I was offered coffee, water, tea, etc. Which is a nice touch.

I am pretty understanding when things happen but what makes a difference it's how it is resolved and handled. I really liked Esneda, but unfortunately, I won't be coming back to this place. Costumer service and professionalism is a must for me, and I don't believe this is a priority for them.

We've all had plenty of blowout experiences and to be honest, this was one of the worst. The place itself was fine, but the staff was not friendly. They ran late and were not super communicative. We didn't get a look book until we asked for one and then when we did, the blowouts were far from what we requested. There was one bathroom in the place and as others have shared, it was not the cleanest either. If you're desperate for a blowout, it's fine, but I definitely would not rush back.

This place is a GEM! I had been getting my hair done by Eddie/Eyad from 2008-2012 and then I moved around Florida. After countless different stylists and a ton of money wasted on terrible color jobs, I decided to drive 4 hours down to Miami to visit my old friend after 10 years. All I can say is ALHAMDULILLAH!!! I feel like a rockstar! Now, I'm not an easy case. I have A LOT of hair that tangles super easily. I had a grown out shag cut and overprocessed hair. My hair is now soft, manageable and was able to quickly detangle it, which is a miracle in itself! Eddie blessed me with K18 to restore my hair's health, gave me a much needed haircut and meticulously ensured that there was no overlap to cause further damage when lightening my hair from the darkest brown to light blonde. While Zuhair was working on another gorgeous color, my boyfriend stepped in to assist (see attached photo) and he also received a flawless haircut by Eddie as well. Now the fun part: Eddie customized several fun colors after giving him a general idea of what I had in mind but allowed him to have creative freedom (tip: hair artists love when you do that so, trust the process). He came up with a palette of different shades of pink and peach which I feel really compliment my skin tone. Zuhair stepped in to assist with the vivid color application and also gave me the BEST scalp massage in the shampoo bowl! Both stylists are so talented, professional, considerate, welcoming and funny. The salon itself is such a vibe with the pops of color, all the plants, vintage seating, a retro arcade game, display of cool hats on the wall and not to mention the stunning views of the city from the 7th floor! I left so impressed and proud of Eddie, the owner of Stubborn Hair, who worked so hard for so many years to get to where he is now. I no longer will go to any other stylist and will make the drive down to Miami to continue my hair journey with the ultimate master of stylists I have ever known. Eddie, Zuhair and his fabulous team at Stubborn Hair Salon went above and beyond. Getting an appointment was quick and easy through their website and the salon is easy to find near Wynwood. Eddie is a very talented stylist and has been cutting hair since he was 14. The salon is colorful, vibrant and stunning views. Eddie immediately made me feel at ease and really listened to my needs. He transformed my blonde, adding dimension and shine, bringing pigment back into the hair through a glaze/gloss. The highlights we're done carefully and with precision. He has great attention to detail. Zuhairs head and neck massage while washing my hair was to die for! I felt so relaxed afterwards. 26 years of experience he cuts hair like a wizard! He's so fast and skilled at what he does. Having worked with Toni & Guy, L'Oréal, traveling around the world he's mastered the art of cutting hair. Came here about 2 weeks ago after I attempted to bleach my hair at home. I came in looking like a hot mess. I never felt judged or got a lecture--everyone at the salon just wanted to help find a solution. Anthony was my stylist and he is amazing. The color correction took a while and yes I felt a little antsy BUT it was 10000% worth it because 1. Anthony was able to fix even the most stubborn (no pun intended) patches and blend my hair to perfection and 2. The texture was only off for about a day! Anyone who has gone bleach blond knows it can be really tough on your strands. After a few days my hair felt silky smooth and I didn't even have to cut it. They use high quality product that doesn't damage your hair. The location is convenient, the studio is nice with great views, and I felt extremely taken care of (they made sure I was comfortable, offered food & drinks, etc). I have been seeing Eddie since 2017 and continue to be amazed by his talent. Hi! This guy really gives a shit. He could see I was upset with my hair and was determined that I would leave happy. It wasn't an easy job as I'd mucked up my hair with multiple dyes. There's also breakage from years of highlighting, and all those short pieces make a frizzy halo around my part and hairline. I used to try to tame it with a flat iron and hairspray, which just created perpetual damage and frizz. The smoothing treatment didn't change the texture of my hair or the wave, it just added smoothness and tamed the frizzy short pieces. This is my second treatment and I've seen so much improvement, growth, and reduction in breakage. My first treatment lasted 3 months.
