I'm really picky since I'm a rare natural blonde who loves ash/platinum color but I also am very against my hair looking fake or overdone. I do not love the trendy honey/golden blonde hues and those colors clash with my skin. Most stylists are dismissive of this because the honey blonde colors are so popular. Veronica "got" it. What a perfectly ideal location for a hair salon! Nestled in the ever so fabulous miracle mile on Majorca and Ponce. Since this building is off to the side from the busier streets, finding parking was cake! I didn't even have to search cause I snagged a meter spot directly beside BlondlyVivid's suite! The two stylists who own/work here are Shelby and Veronica; these two are a cute pair who make their environment feel cozy. Complimentary water, tea, coffee, champagne/wine, and biscotti are offered! And plenty of food places to choose uber eats from if your stomach starts gurgling during a long hair session... or to soak up all that champagne haha. I initially came in just to get bangs cut for this fall weather, but after seeing so many cool colors on their shelves and comfortably chatting away with Veronica about life, I thought oh what the heck, you're an expert at color, throw some color on me baby!! Haha I threw myself in for a spontaneous treat and WOW the outcome is beautiful!! That woman turned my hair into the colors of the wind! The process was quick since my hair was previously bleached. She used only conditioner that had color dye in it, rubbed it in, let it sit for a few minutes, then washed it right out. So easy and color stuck like vibrant glue! I never thought green would've looked good in my hair but she blended it with pinks and turquoise which turned my hair into unicorn perfection. And since she didn't use a typical hair dye, my hair was super soft and smelled really good rather than smelling like chemicals. She took a bunch of pics and was so kind to air drop them all to me! She is a great listener, making sure to paint, cut, and style your hair how you'd like. I kept my naturally black hair at almost waist length with blonde highlights for a long time, then we turned the highlights purple.
