My stylist Shelby always takes her time to really deliver what I'm looking for. For that I truly appreciate her. She is a true professional and very talented. She's been doing my blowouts, styles and cuts for about 3 years now. There are few that can take my head of curls and give me a nice polished straight look. Congrats Shelby on your new salon. read more

I've been getting my hair done by Kelly for 6years and i have nothing but amazing things to say! She takes SUCH good care of my locks. Every time i go to her i feel even better about my look ;) i have naturally black hair and has gotten me to bleach blonde hair, then we even got my hair to be pastel blue (which was gorgeous). She's an incredible colorists, and is great with all hair textures! i recommend her for everyone. read more

Came here based on YELP reviews, and the fact that they had "blond" in the salon name. Was an excellent decision on my part! I'm really picky since I'm a rare natural blonde who loves ash/platinum color but I also am very against my hair looking fake or overdone. I do not love the trendy honey/golden blonde hues and those colors clash with my skin. Most stylists are dismissive of this because the honey blonde colors are so popular. Veronica "got" it. She understood completely. She consulted with me about my goals, reviewed past processes, discussed her recommendations, then got to work. Color looked great first go around. Lots of color correction that she even though it added lots of extra time to my appointment. She's a stylist that really cares about being thorough and doing hair properly. Despite the difficulties, Veronica was warm, professional and great attitude. I HIGHLY recommend BlondlyVivid. They also are moving soon to industrial style salon near downtown/edgewater area- lots of parking and super easy to get to from all of Miami-Dade. read more

I have been battling with my hair for as long as I can remember. I have curly colored hair. A nightmare to keep up with at times... that was till I met Shelby. I met with her for a consultation to discuss my options. She was honest, open and offered a plan. She told me that my current color, a grown out, over processed color, may take some time to correct. This was the first time I had ever heard a stylist share this with me. She said she wanted to do it in stages since my hair does have a tendency to dry out. This allowed my hair to recover while still looking good. She also guided me with products, never overselling, more like suggestions. Her knowledge on them is priceless. I have to say my hair has never looked or felt better. I'd been searching for someone like her!! Thank goodness I found her. I won't go anywhere else. read more

Yesterday was my first time with Veronica at Makers Loft and I have to say my experience was A+! I was recommended by 2 friends that are clients and I could not be happier! I am a rare case as I present challenges due to bleach allergies and Veronica and Shelby went above and beyond for me. Veronica worked with me patiently and achieved gorgeous results. I cannot wait to continue our "journey" together haha! Thank you both! You girls ROCK doing hair! #whitehairdontcare #bleachstruggles -Gretel read more

Veronica and Shelby have been a part of my life since I was 14 years old when I chopped my hair into a bob!! Afterwards, I continued going to them at the old salon they used to go to for highlights, balayage etc. After some time, they left the salon and I had no idea where they were. I found them again and decided that Veronica would be the chosen one for my new hair color. Veronica couldn't have done a better job! Now at their own salon, I continue being a loyal customer for my touch ups and I'm so proud of what they have accomplished!! You go girls. read more

What a perfectly ideal location for a hair salon! Nestled in the ever so fabulous miracle mile on Majorca and Ponce. Since this building is off to the side from the busier streets, finding parking was cake! I didn't even have to search cause I snagged a meter spot directly beside BlondlyVivid's suite! The two stylists who own/work here are Shelby and Veronica; these two are a cute pair who make their environment feel cozy. Complimentary water, tea, coffee, champagne/wine, and biscotti are offered! And plenty of food places to choose uber eats from if your stomach starts gurgling during a long hair session... or to soak up all that champagne haha. I initially came in just to get bangs cut for this fall weather, but after seeing so many cool colors on their shelves and comfortably chatting away with Veronica about life, I thought oh what the heck, you're an expert at color, throw some color on me baby!! Haha I threw myself in for a spontaneous treat and WOW the outcome is beautiful!! That woman turned my hair into the colors of the wind! The process was quick since my hair was previously bleached. She used only conditioner that had color dye in it, rubbed it in, let it sit for a few minutes, then washed it right out. So easy and color stuck like vibrant glue! I never thought green would've looked good in my hair but she blended it with pinks and turquoise which turned my hair into unicorn perfection. And since she didn't use a typical hair dye, my hair was super soft and smelled really good rather than smelling like chemicals. She took a bunch of pics and was so kind to air drop them all to me! I highly recommend Veronica for any of your hair needs cause this girl does magic and I am totally coming back to her every time! read more

Veronica and Shelby are two of the sweetest stylists I have ever met. After a 3 year hiatus of hair coloring, I decided I wanted to do highlights again. I was of course terrified of letting anyone touch my hair, much less turn it blonde. However, I had nothing to worry about in the hands of these two ladies. Veronica spent her time making sure everything turned out perfectly, and Shelby went in with her toning skills :-D. The end result was perfect, I have been happy with my hair since I did it. Everyone has complimented the color, and three months later I am still a happy bee. I cannot wait to go back for my touch up. Highly recommend these girls to anyone who wants a job done right. read more

Wohoo. I'm with Shelby for over 2 years now. The first time we met she rescued my hair bc another stylist messed up my layers really bad. She made it beautiful again. Step by step. Since then I'm following her everywhere since I know I can really trust her with my hair. No matter what. Cutting bangs, layers, just the tips, hightlights, lowlights, gloss, bayalage for my daughter..I'm so happy for her that she finally took on her own salon with her friend Veronica. This is the team to go. Both are doing a fantastic job. I only review businesses on yelp I believe in. Cu you there. The travel time is worth it. read more

I can't say enough good things about Shelby! I met Shelby in January of this year with my hair a total mess! An old hair stylist had ruined my hair and I was hopeless! I found Shelby and immediately sent her a text (more like a book lol) hoping there was something she could do! She called me right away and told me to come in that same day! I went straight over and this was the best decision I made! She works wonders!!! She fixed my color and made my hair beautiful! I continued to go back to Shelby and after she perfected my color we added extensions! Let me tell you I've done extensions for years as Shelby is a perfectionist she matched my color perfectly added as much hair as I needed so it looks flawless! I can't thank her enough for making my hair beautiful again! Shelby is really the best I wouldn't trust anyone else with my color or extensions again!! read more

I love coming to Blondlyvivid and getting my hair done. Both Veronica and Shelby are amazing! They really understand hair and color, I have had the pleasure of getting my hair done by both and have always been happy with my results. I have been getting my hair done with them for years. I started off with damaged muddy ugly brown and since then have been a red head and now blonde! My hair has never been so healthy with such color dimension. I am never switching my hair stylist again! They use quality product which is so important. I love been able to have open communication and feeling like I know what they are acting actually doing to my hair. I have been able to achieve the results I want without frying my hair which has happened many times before to me in other salons. Shelby has been my hair stylist for years, she is committed to making your vision come true while keeping your hair health and skin tone in consideration. She is a great listener, making sure to paint, cut, and style your hair how you'd like. I kept my naturally black hair at almost waist length with blonde highlights for a long time, then we turned the highlights purple. I'm a brunette now, so she has done all sorts of things on my hair at my request, and I know she has always taken good care to keep my hair healthy. I used to have excessively oily hair and the hair products Shelby guided me to have dramatically improved my hair. The salon has street parking nearby. read more

I wish I had before and after pictures because Veronica did a great job! I went in with terrible blonde highlights from a different salon, and she corrected my color by just using a gloss and darkening my roots to create a bit of a balayage.
