Floralyn is the best hairdresser I have ever met…read more I came in for a color correction and it was BAD. Botched, orange, patchy highlights done by someone else. She didn't hesitate at taking on the task of fixing it. She is fast - my hair is waist length and very thick and she got a full head of foils in me in less than an hour. All perfectly placed. The end result wasn't perfect so she told me to come back in a few days since she guarantees all her work. Well, now my hair is amazing which I didn't think it could be after such a botched starting point. She is kind and welcoming. She makes you feel at home in her chair. Price is excellent reasonable but she definitely earned her tip! Truly a hair fairy godmother.

I basically just payed $105 dollars for a good cry and to have my family photos ruined. She was very nice, but completely botched my hair. I won't be coming back. Let me tell you a breakup story that ends well. For years I went to Shep for haircuts. I saw his…read moreplace go from closet-sized basement space to the über-cool mid-century-inspired place it is now. Unfortunately, my salary didn't grow to match his booming business and price hikes and I eventually had to have that "I can no longer afford you" breakup talk. I literally had nightmares about it. But Shep was cool. "I'll even tell you who to see--David is the best at men's hair in my salon--probably better than me." He wasn't wrong. After a while, David broke off to create Co-Lab and I followed him on what will no doubt be another successful journey from walk-in closet sized space to a larger (and no doubt impeccably styled) salon. David has the perfect match of talent and taste that allows you to trust him to do whatever he thinks will look good. He's equally good with women's hair from what I've seen. No more haircut breakups in my future.

Second, they both pay very close attention to detail and always explain their vision before beginning the cut. They will give you exactly what you ask for. And if you don't know, they can help you decide. :) Third, I have never had better haircuts in my life!! I always leave feeling so confident and vibrant! I love Co-Lab and you will too!!!

So first this place gets a bad rap and for no apparent reason. There are two ladies there and yes…read morethey don't have anyone else there to help because most of the time the rest of the family is working elsewhere to put food on the table just like the rest of us. For some reason we've got so caught up with the fast paced, and instantaneous expectations of the world and suddenly we expect that of everyone. When I came in, there were two people in front of me. Did I wait for their haircuts? Yes. Did they take a bit longer than, haircuts usually do yes, and as I watched the two ladies, were they chatting, or on their phones? No, they were invested in making sure the two appointments before me got exactly what they wanted. When I had my haircut, it was cut to perfection, asking one of the ladies to do something more stylish and she happily obliged and I was amazed at the quality of the cut. The bottom line is: Haircuts are meant to be relaxing,, a chance to forget your worries at the door, and a time to enjoy with the barber or hairstylist. If you're in a hurry, or this whole hole-in-the-wall/ family run business isn't your thing, then don't go here, it's not for you.

Any time we're in Utah, we make a point to get our haircuts at Just Your Style in Spanish Fork…read more It's that good. They take their time here--not in a slow, dragging way, but in a deliberate, detail-oriented, "we actually care what your hair looks like when you leave" kind of way. I've never gotten a bad cut here. Ever. And in a world full of rushed chain cuts and uneven fades, that's saying something. The staff is friendly, down-to-earth, and always makes you feel like you're in good hands. While I waited for my wife to finish up, they even offered me a water or a soda--which, small thing, but it says a lot. It's that kind of place. While we were there, an elderly couple came in--clearly regulars--and brought little souvenirs from a recent trip to give to each of the stylists. That kind of relationship between customers and staff tells you everything you need to know about how they treat people here. If you're anywhere near Spanish Fork and in need of a solid, reliable haircut that leaves you feeling fresh and actually seen, this is the spot.
