I absolutely love getting my haircut here, Camille is amazing and she does an excellent job. The ambience in the salon is wonderful, and I really appreciate that they don't allow small children in the salon. It makes it very easy to relax and just chat while getting my hair done, without having to worry about listening to someone else's little ones. I made a big oopsies and cut my bangs shorter than a Vine video. I needed help that day, because everyone knows hacking your forehead ribbons is the gateway to making more bad life decisions. The last steady relationship I had with a stylist was like 3 years ago, and like a bad comb over we had slowly parted ways. I dived into the digital Yellow Pages (latin for Google) and just started calling places. The good shepherd Shep salon answered me, and sent out Coleman to rescue me. He then Third Eye Blinded me as he styled me back from that scalped ledge, my fringe. Then he cut ties with all the *dyes that I'd been living in. And I do want to see him again, because he understands. This might seem like a minor and weird thing, but Camille is the first hairstylist able to find my original part after washing my hair before cutting it. I'm not sure why others haven't been able to, but it makes any styling easier knowing my layers are even on both sides. I have a bunch of flyaways and broken hair near my hairline, and she showed me the best products and techniques to use to tame them. I left with softer hair and a style that suits my face. I don't know why I try any other studio but Shep, because they really do the best work. read more
