I have been coming here for many years. Almost always I am happy with my haircut and the friendly service. The only thing I will complain about is that their sign claims that walk-ins are welcome but they actually have NO system for handling them. You will wait literally all day long if their sign-ups are full. Even if someone with an appointment is late, or a no-show, they will sit there twiddling their thumbs while waiting for the person with the appointment rather than invite a walk-in to the chair. This has happened to me many times, and at any time of the day. To avoid frustration, don''t go without an appointment. Now I just need to remember my own advice. read more

I just moved from Maryland and this place is a hidden gem. The haircut was great at a reasonable price $14.00. The experience however was worth much more. Sara(h) was amazing. She was professional but personal, polite and detail focused. The ear, neck and eyebrow trim were included along with a scented scalp massage and warm face cloth for the neck and face. A free bottle of water and treat was also offered. Why this place isn't first on the Google hit list for barbers makes no sense to me. It's top notch and high quality at a stupid low cost. read more

Having lived in Southern California for 5 years, I was very accustomed to my one-stop Asian chop shop--nice skin fade with some good scissor work, and even a line-up upon request. So it was a journey to find a hair professional that could deliver consistently every time. Luckily around my third trip to this location, I found Alyssa. She does wonders in terms of delivering a top-notch haircut with all the details you would expect for a good fade. Blending the 0 into the 1 or 2 is an art, and she has that art dialed in. Also a very good conversationalist and ready to make adjustments to deliver a hair cut fit for you. The other staff members also provide excellent hair cuts, but may miss out on those fine details. I'm only posting this to let others know. Be aware they will let people "practice" on you for 40+ minutes without informing you beforehand. I went in on a Wednesday afternoon expecting a normal haircut. I sat down and as soon as the haircut began it was obvious the employee had no idea what she was doing. She had only worked there a few days so I let it go. I asked for something simple and my haircut took more than 40 minutes from start to finish. Minutes into the haircut, my stylist asked another to come and help her. I learned 10 minutes in that my stylist was "training". I did not know this going in and was surprised they let someone practice on me. I understand people need to learn but it put me in a very awkward position and in a situation I wasn't aware of. There was a point where I had to ask someone to come and check my stylist's work because I could see patches of uncut hair. The haircut turned out fine but that's because the other stylist came and took over at the end. Overall not great. read more

Walkings are NOT welcome! They told me they could cut my hair in the next hour. I spent 2.5 hours waiting for them to cut my hair. If you want to spend long waiting time come here. I had a wonderful experience at this Craig's Cuts. I didn't make an appointment, but I only had to wait about 10 minutes. I suspect that's more lucky than anything else but I liked it nonetheless. Ashley was absolutely wonderful, she took the time to understand what I was looking for, and didn't rush through the haircut, making sure I was happy with every phase. If you skip the hot towel and scalp massage you're missing out. They're free with your haircut, take advantage. My hair looks great and that's all I could really ask. Horrible UNEVEN haircuts! They obviously don't know what they're doing. We usually go to a Barber shop that has unfortunately closed and decided to try this place.Honestly this is the worst hair cut my child has ever had!! My son has one big scar where he doesn't grow hair in But grows hair everywhere else EVENLY & THICK!! when I noticed a patch the young girl cutting his hair tried telling me that he already had it there (HE DIDN'T) . Mind you he hasn't had a hair cut since the end of May and had it thick & grown out before she RUINED his hair! I usually pay 25$ or more for well done haircuts and this place is not even worth 10$. It wasn't very busy and for being walk in's was perfect for the time my fiancé and I showed up. I thought it was a basic hair place and my fiancé knew the original owner so I said ok to it. I love my fiancé and didn't want to hurt him so I said ok.? I get there and I was like ok not for women even though the hairstylist said they get very few. I went ahead with it. I was in and out in about a half hour on a Wednesday with a 2:30 appointment. Wednesdays are the special $7.99 haircut day here, down from $10. The place was packed and I wondered how much an appointment would help. I still waited 15 minutes to be seated, 10 more than I would expect with with appointment. There was a family of five kids and four of them were getting a hair cut. There were at least 4 others waiting too. My impression is that the 2:30 appointment slot was overbooked... That's should be an easy website / composing issue to fix. I would think they only provide so many slots at each time to prevent overbooking, but I guess they don't? Stoll I understand that I was seated before someone else who had been waiting for 40 minutes without an appointment. The haircut was straightforward and nice. I didn't feel like it was too rushed, but efficient. I still had a warm towel at the end and a scalp massage and a free Bottle is water. I knocked off a star for how they deal with appointments - I did get some priority... But they should not over book. Maybe it was an extra crazy Wednesday. I can update in a few weeks. I've gotten my hair cut here for the last several months. They listen to what I want and they deliver a great hair cut each time. If I don't like something, or if I want something specific, I say something. For example, I ask them to go over the sides a second time because I tend to have stragler hairs (no matter who cuts my hair). They are always happy to go over the sides a second time. They also try to strike up a conversation to make the process more enjoyable. I call before I come in because there are times when they have more stylists on hand and there are big rushes that should be avoided. Sometimes coming a couple hours later or earlier than the busy times (after school, lunch breaks, after work gets out) solves any waiting problems. read more

The ladies were really nice so it would be a 5 for customer service but this review is based on the haircut. Most people leave a bad review when the stylist doesn't do what they want--which is understandable. Here was a little different because it was just a really bad haircut. On one ear she trimmed way around it and on the other side she didn't. On top of this she also didn't do what I asked because she took off close to 3 inches which is mind boggling to me because I asked for 1/2 an inch off. read more

A 45 min wait on a Saturday is understandable. What I can't understand is why they would say it's a 45 min wait and then make me wait 90 min. I understand that it's hard to perfectly predict a wait time, and that's why it's appropriate to give a time range, like 45 min to and hour. I was told just 45 min and it took longer than 1 1/2 hours to get to me. I am still waiting as I type this. It should never take more than twice as long than the time you've asked someone to wait. I have a family at home, and I would have made different plans for a haircut if I knew I'd still be here. read more
