Just know at these places, if your looking to furnish your home on a budget, you'll get away with some good prices, all it takes is some work on looking around on what you really like. If you need extra big pillows for the couch, some extra chairs, weird candle type holders, big decorative vases, etc... stop by here first before you like to go pay the 'fool's' price on those type of items. Last time we were here, we purchased some pretty cake stands, and if you need a comparison on prices and are weary... just remember there's a Home Outfitters just a walk away to see what you would really be paying for similar stuff.

I was very delighted when I discovered the shop at Aberdeen Centre, with the same spread and even some high end items in the back. Awesome! I have quite a collection from this store. Mostly bowls of all sorts, different diameters, depths, and slope of walls that I use for salads, ramen, pasta, and serving bowls. I also have (too many) of their boxed small condiment bowls that I use for the dining table and for soaps and trinkets. They are so pretty with high quality glazes. I have an affinity for girly colors, which unfortunately, that selection is limited. The normal colors are blue with whites and dark shades, according to the sales lady. If they have a wider color palate, this would be a 5 stars experience for sure. They do have a couple that have pink cherry blossoms and/or bunnies. There's nothing like eating your meal from dishes that make you smile. I highly recommend this store. :) Check out the pieces in the back wall behind glass. They are for sale with prices to match the behind glass status. An exception is a few piggy-banks that are not piggy shape. Those would make nice gifts.

To be honest, we visit each time we're in the area but there's not many stores we would shop at. It's just fun to peruse and window shop here. It is a pretty dated mall but people love it. We tried the food court a few times and the food here is okay but you'll probably do better venturing to eat outside. Overall, a fun place to pass the time and a centre for community.

Customer service is none existent here. I came to look for a duvet and pillow. I saw 3 workers…read moreand tried to ask them about the sale. None would look at me. When I went to pay, there was a worker at one till. 3 other workers were standing by the "Online Order" tills. One person asked if I was waiting to pay. I said Yes. He said 'Oh you can pay there'. All while the other 3 stood there talking. Then another customer walked behind me in line to pay and the other worker tells him that he can help. I look at the worker and said "You told me to pay here?" The other customer said that I could go first but the worker helped the other customer. When i finally got to pay, the cashier didn't give me the receipt. They started to walk away and I had to ask them for the receipt. The store does have a variety of home items so that's the only positive thing.

There are a lot of amazingly pretty tea cups in the store made by famous ceramic tea set artist in Taiwan, absolutely gems like collectible item. However, they also have many reasonable price teacups and tea set which are very pretty as well. The most impressive thing in this tea shop is the warm hospitality provided by the owners. This couple invited me to have some tea tasting while I am browsing in the shop. There was few more customers came by while I am trying the tea, they came to chat with the owners and have a cup of tea. Their stopping by visit totally touch my heart, the tenderness relationship are a luxury item in nowadays while people are rather to focus on electronic devices but detached from real communications.

I was in the market for an umbrella when I found one here! It looks like a kokeshi (kimono girl…read moredoll) when it is closed. The head is the handle when you use the umbrella, but the neat part is, the body part is a hard plastic cover!! This actually keeps the wetness inside, so you can stash it in your bag after you've used it, without getting your bag wet. Forget those flimsy bags made of the same material as the umbrella! The construction ("skeleton") of the umbrella isn't that sturdy, so I have to be always afraid of windy rainy days. I hope to make this convenient umbrella last as long as I can. I had to take a chance, though, since I could not open the umbrella and see its construction or its size. They did not allow customers to open the umbrellas, which is understandable, but they could have at least had one sample out. All they could tell me was that this umbrella is smaller than the other one that was shaped like an ice wine bottle (but they didn't have a sample of that one, either). That's why I can't give them 4 stars, despite all the cuteness they carry. I think they accepted Debit, but not Credit, but I'm not sure.

Other than the slow service, the crepe was not bad, although once upon a time I recall there was more filling inside the crepe.

TV stand that had the dimensions we needed. And! we got a great discount saving over 700 Canada-bucks in the process. She...loved it so much, she's going to get more stuff from there.
