I liked the store from the outside, was thinking of trying it inside. I ve never been to this mall…read moresince im from alberta. I went inside and was going to look for airpod case or other thing. The asian lady with blonde hair. Was like " mask please " i was like oh yeah i have a mask. While i was putting the mask on i was asking the question & she simply rudely said i can't answer until u have mask. Mam first of all u aren't standing by the door to care for people whether they are wearing masks or not. You simply were just giggling on ur laptop. Secondly, u could have let me finish my mask thing instead of stopping me in the middle of my question. Or maybe you just preferred if i was asian? Freaking rude. After her response i left. I didn't even bother to ask or whatever.

I was in the market for an umbrella when I found one here! It looks like a kokeshi (kimono girl…read moredoll) when it is closed. The head is the handle when you use the umbrella, but the neat part is, the body part is a hard plastic cover!! This actually keeps the wetness inside, so you can stash it in your bag after you've used it, without getting your bag wet. Forget those flimsy bags made of the same material as the umbrella! The construction ("skeleton") of the umbrella isn't that sturdy, so I have to be always afraid of windy rainy days. I hope to make this convenient umbrella last as long as I can. I had to take a chance, though, since I could not open the umbrella and see its construction or its size. They did not allow customers to open the umbrellas, which is understandable, but they could have at least had one sample out. All they could tell me was that this umbrella is smaller than the other one that was shaped like an ice wine bottle (but they didn't have a sample of that one, either). That's why I can't give them 4 stars, despite all the cuteness they carry. I think they accepted Debit, but not Credit, but I'm not sure.

Buried inside the endless stores of the massive Aberdeen Centre, is the specialty home decor store,…read more"A light idea" where lights take on a whole new sophistication of aesthetic pleasure. Aside from being one of the brightest stores in the mall, it probably happens to be one of the most expensive (read: electricity wasting) to maintain. Hence, most of pieces here are going to be on the pricier side and as a result there is very little customer traffic in and out here, with mainly window shoppers gazing from the outside. What makes this store interesting is their array of varied lit objects that can range from anything hanging to decor pieces that sit like lamps. The staff is good at helping folks choose something appropriate for their space, just be sure to have a plan in mind and see if there are any clearance items on sale.

The best part about this place is that the owners are soooooo friendly and offered to help put together a room plan for decor and actually explained to me why I LOVE track lighting so much and what it does. Yes, some lighting actually warms or cools the look and feel of a room and where you place it and the angle of lighting also matters a lot. Their lights are pretty expensive though so ... look before you buy!
