So In my search for some new furniture I was pleased to find that q living furniture locally sources their furniture( atleast the pieces that we looked at ) the pieces we looked at are made to order. The warranty on the framework of the sectionals are top shelf, and the fact that the manufacturer is local within 45 minutes of the show room was a major selling point. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and super friendly they are extremely easy to talk to so if your unclear or have a specific idea in mind for your living situation I highly recommend you stop in and check them out. Oh and if you're worried about the coronavirus they stick to the guidelines set forth by the provincial health order/mandate.

So, I asked for the manufactures to make the couch cushions denser so I would not feel the bed mechanism under my bum, as the cushions squished down to nothing. So I spent 5 grand and I still had to go buy foam to put on the couch, so it was at least usable for us to sit on and for guests to sit on as well. They would not help at all! A total waste of money! Just when you think no one could carry this many baskets in one shop, you turn the corner and find a massive back room with, you guessed it, more wicker baskets! Amongst the wicker you will find various home and garden accents from signs and decorations to vases and the like. Plus, everything is totally affordable. Cathay Importers show up at trade and arts and crafts show around the city, so you are bound to find them somewhere close to you. If not, take a trip to Chinatown and peruse. If you can't find the basket you want here, it doesn't exist!

Surprisingly my Ontario insurer strongly recommended JR West as a good company that specialized in furniture repairs and "in-home' re-finishing /restoration work. On the same day I called JR West sent an artisan came to my home and provided an estimate. Several days later the furniture was picked and taken to JR West's shop and within a few weeks the repairs were completed. Prior to completion JR West encouraged me to attend it shop to inspect the work and consult about the exact colour of stain to be used on one of the pieces. In speaking with Rick the artisan he provided a wealth of information about the furniture repairs, the piece to be re-stained and even provided an actual sample of what the stained piece would look like. At around the same time another artisan, Barry, came to my home and very expertly touched -up and restored a number of nicks and scratches that were visible on other pieces of furniture. JR West's artisans are very skilled in large and small scale furniture repairs and re-finishing and are very artistic when it comes to matching colours, stains and wood grains when making in home" touch-up's to pieces that have minor dent, nicks and scratches. I would highly recommend JR West for any sort of furniture repairs/restoration/re-finishing. JR West provides superior quality work and top quality service. Ronna-Lee the office manager is terrific to deal with. DO'B
