This studio has quickly become one of my favorite places! I love the supportive environment where…read moreyou can focus and move at your own pace. Eric and Simon are outstanding instructors--always respectful of modifications while still inspiring you to push further with their encouragement and challenges. Definitely worth trying out--and your first class is free! Not to mention, I really appreciate how clean and well-maintained the studio is!

I started here a month ago and I'm so happy I finally convinced myself to try it. The coaches make…read morethe workouts fun yet challenging for everyone, no matter what their fitness level. How they modify the exercises for ALL members is the best part. For me, they give me suggestions to make them more challenging. For others, they'll have them lower the weights and do lower impact exercises to accommodate injuries and level of experience. Every workout is different, which keeps things interesting. The program is motivating and I can honestly say I get in just as good of a workout in 45 minutes here as I would in 1.5 hours on my own in a weight room. It's fast paced, but doable for everyone. The space itself is organized and clean. The members I've met are all friendly and the coaches are encouraging. This isn't an in-your-face bootcamp style gym. No intimidation tactics here! I can't recommend Foundry Fitness enough to anyone who wants to change up their boring, old workout routine or needs an extra kick in the butt.

I have worked with personal trainers since in my early 20s. As a former fitness instructor and a…read morecorporate wellness professional, I am telling you - I've found the best. Alex (the owner) is my trainer now - I work out with him 3 times per week. He is among the most knowledgeable professionals in the business! In my two months with RedZone, i have seen my neck and shoulder pain disappear through a very focused training regimen. Alex also works with my Physical Therapist to tailor workouts to my needs! I would highly recommend RedZone fitness for either one-on-one personal training, their bootcamps, or any other service they would provide.

I've worked in the fitness industry for over a decade -- as a trainer, group exercise instructor,…read moreand fitness center manager -- so you could say I have an above average understanding of what separates a great trainer from a so-so trainer. Alex is unquestionably one of those rare trainers who understand both the psychological and practical aspects of training. He is quick to tune into the personalities of his clients and push/encourage them accordingly, and he isn't rigid in his training approach -- if you want to skip or modify an exercise, he is happy to adjust the workout. His compliments are genuine, and he never judges you for failing to finish an exercise, resting, or confessing to a bad week of eating. Finally, I enjoy the style of the workouts he provides for me. Lots of creative exercises and new twists, yet all very functional. And because his exercises tend to utilize multiple muscle groups, they provide a full-body workout -- you definitely get your cardio in addition to strength training, which is great for anyone who is crunched for time!

The stories of theft are troubling. And in spite of billing themselves as a country club sports facility there is more discord than you'd expect in a "classy" club. Easy to talk to and also felt comfortable to be quiet, my haircut left me speechless, it was beautiful. Pros: -the changing rooms are outfitted with lockers, toiletries, changing stall, showers, sauna, steam room, hot tub, and swimsuit drying machines -awesome indoor and outdoor pools, with a water slide, lots of padded chairs, and pool bar -day passes and guest passes available.. You can also use the gym if you get a LifeSpa service that day -several options to get food, protein, etc if you need that -staff was friendly -towel service Cons:- I was overcharged for my tab at the pool, signage said $8 for Mango Cart but I paid like $12+tip -$200+ per month is just not in my price range -the number of weight machines seemed low compared to everything else, I went at 1pm on a Tuesday so I can only imagine how long I'd have to wait after 5pm. Some things only had 2 of that machine, I expect more for the money paid.

I've received two emails from the owner of Warriorfit telling me that "he's sorry I didn't grasp…read morewhat they do," basically putting me down instead of truly taking in and using my criticism constructively. I didn't respond. He also said I was expecting a Crossfit workout. Nope. I don't do Crossfit, I disagree with a lot of what Crossfit does, especially since it's injury rate is so high. And I certainly wasn't expecting a Crossfit workout when I tried Warriorfit. However, pretty much everyone in the fitness industry is doing some variation of metabolic conditioning -- whether it's bootcamp style, Crossfit or something else. And I know what metabolic conditioning is, because I've trained with some of the best in the industry. Warriorfit is, indeed, practicing metabolic conditioning. Sending repeated emails telling me I didn't "get it" shows a real lack of class, so I'm sticking with my two stars. And that's generous. I'm doing so because I think Warriorfit's intention is to help people and because it probably does help some people. I just don't think it's the most effective way to do so and I see lots of room for improvement in the coaches' technique, methodologies, and now business practices and just plain manners. And, despite the owner comment posted below, not one of the people in my class was there for martial arts instruction. They weren't martial artists. They were there for general fitness and conditioning. His martial arts instruction was the best part of the workout, but it was a SMALL part of the workout and probably what Warriorfit should stick to teaching. Problem is there is more demand for general classes. As for my "qualifications," 1.) I'm pretty sure I do not need to be qualified as a consumer of such services. This should tell you what the tone of his messages to me was really like. And 2.) I will be earning my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist cert, which is more than what any of the instructors there has. Yuck, yuck, and yuck. *Postscript: This guy just can't take criticism (like a man, or like a woman) and use it to improve. It's obvious from the ongoing back and forth. It's also pretty obvious how many of friends he's gotten to write reviews since I posted mine. Ugh. Who has the time for this? Again, just because you've practiced martial arts does not mean you should be teaching general fitness classes, especially if you are unlicensed and uninsured. But, hey, the liability is yours to assume. Good luck with that.

Lets Go Warriors! I…read morewas honestly skeptical to use this place because I have a slight anxiety disorder and do not like big classes. BUT this class works for me! Everyone one is class is nice and encouraging, as we are all just trying to make ourselves better. I am going on my fourth week, and I am sure that if I go for 2 more months I will reach my goal. I love the fact that they offer 7 & 8 oclock classes Monday through Thursday and 7 pm classes on Friday. I work late shift at work and do not get off until 6 pm, and was afraid I would be stuck in traffic and not make it to class ontime, but I have made it early since the day I started. My first week was brutal. I was injured, back and shoulder, and could not do all of the moves or even move as fast but the instructor for the day David- gave me alternatives and stretches so that I could get well soon. I no longer have the injuries. The classes are very upbeat, you are constantly moving and challenging yourself. The instructor often says " Just dont stop, I dont care if you move slow, Just KEEP MOVING"! I love that they are motivating and really want you to work for it. Class always starts off with a ten minute run. I havent mastered my breathing yet so this is horrible for me, but I at least try to get through it every time. Each class is different. Some days there are different stations where the instructor will have you do different moves. There are days where we are all about the punching back and we are kicking and punching for a good 20 plus mintues. There are days when we are outside on the field running up and down the field, squatting up and down the field, lunging, bear crawling, and all of the above. Im allergic to class and after a bad reaction to an outdoor session I go to the later class so I do have red bumps on my arms the next day at work :(. There is always stretching, and always abs. I like the fact that they target your whole body and dont forget about the booty, abs or back :) Overall Warriorfit is def worth giving a try, if you dont end up loving it at least you tried something new. I love it after 3 weeks, I actually did two sessions yesterday so that I didnt have to work out on Friday- and I felt great after doing it. Lots of sweat but lots of smiles today I got a great deal on Amazon Local $20 for a month of unlimited classes, I def want to get a membership for the rest of summer. Great promotion! By the time you finish this class you will def feel like a warrior!
