Hands down the best bowling alley at Fort Irwin. But jokes aside, the people working there were super helpful and accommodating. The food menu had a variety of things you'd expect at a normal bowling alley. I enjoyed the mozzarella sticks. The fish and chips were your standard bowling alley fish sticks, which I totally expected. Drinking pitchers and hanging with the boys was a great time. Now is the time to update reviews on the bowling alley. They finally finished their kitchen and now they have a fully staffed kitchen with some decently priced and tasty food! The kids meals are all $5.00 and include fries, a drink and an ice cream treat. We ordered chili cheese fries and nachos for $3.50-$3.75 and the portions were good! Their food is definitely a great spot for Fort Irwin which is limited in selection. We usually bowl on Sundays, so I'm not sure about other deals but we do the $20 per lane for an hour for 4 bowlers with shoes included and then add on an additional hour for $10. The new system the bowling alley has is great -- if you don't want to play typical ten pin for scoring then you can do a fun Angry Bird version of the game. They have a jukebox now too if you want to pay to hear your jams, they just need to upgrade their sound system because if you have any songs with bass it'll sound like their speakers are about to blow up ;) On that note, workers are always great! Wonderful place in this location for bowling. Haven't eaten here so Im not reviewing the food or drinks, only my bowling experience with my fam. The floors are highly waxed, so if you have your own ball, BRING A Towel.lol. If you don't, they give free ones out at the counter. The fam and I did the pass when we got here in June 2022 that takes us to DEC, and it was CHEEP!! The staff is wonderful, but if freshly waxed, the floors can be slippery.lol. MON, and TUE they are closed, but the Fam tries to go daily. If you have your own shoes, with a pass, it costs nothing to bowl 2 games. (Buy your own... worth it after about two to three weeks of going). read more

Somehow the bar is always out of draft beer and they only keep a couple random spirits on hand at a time. I feel bad for all the soldiers that resort to test tube shots of some syrup crap because there's nothing else to drink. Also, the bartender is grouchy and unpleasant, and I always had to track her down to get service. The food sucks too. Once again, the Army has an unparalleled opportunity to take advantage of its monopoly to deliver value and make money, and squanders it with a terrible product delivered with terrible service. Great place for family fun. Sunday's they have bowling for a discounted price. Bottled beers in the fridge. Clean environment, tons of parking, all size bowling balls & easily accessible. Strike Zone is a great place to go have fun with your family. Many bowling deals are offered, and anyone can earn free games while they play. Friendly family oriented environment. The food is great, and the service is too. They offer a full array of food items, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Eggs made to order, only non-DFAC place on post where you can get great breakfast. Burritos are superb. As far as lunch goes, the sandwiches are great! The have a TBA(turkey,Bacon,avacado) I highly recomend it. They are not stingy on the avacado either. Good wings, with house made wing sauce. and their ranch!!! THEY MAKE THEIR OWN RANCH! not many place take the time to care anymore. They do have a full bar available when post guidelines allow for the sale of alcohol. Unfortunately they no longer sell doughnuts, but the coffee is still good. read more

This is one of the few decent main stays on the base. Games are cheap (and Strikezone often doles out deals). The bar is average but remember that this is a bowling alley on base; Soldiers may want to just drive an hour to the BWWs in Victorville if they want a bar that never seems to run out of budlight on tap. This being a bar on base, however, it had a decent bottle selection since it's resourced by the Class Six so you'll be able to order a lot of the common popular imports (though it is cheaper just to buy from the Class Six and drink in your house or at the barracks). This is an easy place to get away from the monotony of Fort Irwin and I'd rather come here for a drink and to watch a football game than Sam Adams or Shockwave. This place is probably the only hot food option for breakfast, unless you really love the DFAC (boo) but it's kind of what I call a well-known secret. The breakfast burrito and pancakes rock. During lunch, try the Philly cheesesteak or BLT. read more

This place is a local non DFAC favorite for breakfast (as much as anything can be considered "local" on Irwin). The donuts are the best on Post (destroys the Commissary's). The rest of breakfast (eggs/omelettes/breakfast burritos/etc) is cooked well in the greasy spoon fashion (just understand what you are going in for). The burritos are a work of 1300 calorie art. Do it once to say you did it...and then pay your pentance in physical training for the next week. Coffee is Dunk'n Donuts (not the donuts, though). FYI that if you need a donut box (for a dozen, etc), head on up to the counter-do not wait in line for this-and ask for one. Lunch is also passable greasy spoon fare. Decent, but not extraordinary. Breakfast is where they shine a little brighter. There is quite a bit of seating (dedicated and otherwise) in the Bowling Alley for eating. read more

Cosmic Bowling was great fun! Love the later hours for a Saturday night and the prices are not bad for mixed drinks and beer. Everyone seemed to be having fun and the staff was quite pleasant! Didn't have any food so I can not comment on it... Glad we have the option on post and thankful for the hours of operation! read more

Big fan! Participated in a few bowling leagues here. WiFi is good and now they serve food as well! Recently there was a change in management and there was a decision to sell beer but not liquor. As they were airplane sized bottles , they were a nice addition to the alley, but they no longer sell, which is a bummer during league nights. Staff is awesome and the food actually is really good. read more

Has good breakfast and lunch, bowling deals, and drinks. They always have different lunch specials whenever you don't feel like eating the same thing. Its fun to bowl while at lunch because its a bit of a stress relief. The only negative is that they can be a bit pricey. ($6 for a burger by itself) read more

I'm never disappointed in the food here. I wish they had more people working so I could get my food quicker, but it's always fresh!

One of the fee places on-post to do anything for entertainment. Games and shoes are inexpensive, and you can earn free games if you bowl a strike when a colored pin is at the top of the pyramid. read more

Food is slow and prices are sometimes a little tricky, but over all a great time. It is the only place to bowl within 45 minutes
