I ordered a bowl, and it was massive. You can choose your base from rice, greens, or a mix of both, then add your protein, toppings, and sauce. I went with chicken adobo, plus toppings like edamame and pineapple, and finished it with kare-kare sauce. The Filipino flavors are perfect here: savory, bright, filling, and far from boring. They did not skimp. The bowl was packed with chicken, salad, and toppings, and I was completely full by the end. It has the customizable feel of a Qdoba or Chipotle-style bowl, but with more interesting flavors. Definitely a strong stop at Fort Irwin. Great menu and I chose a large takeout of Huli-Huli chicken, rice and macaroni salad. I also had to grab one of the Teri Spam Musubi. Service was fast and friendly. They offer a variety of beverages. Next time I'll try the Kalua pig for sure. Treat yourself to something special!

Hands down the best bowling alley at Fort Irwin. But jokes aside, the people working there were…read moresuper helpful and accommodating. The food menu had a variety of things you'd expect at a normal bowling alley. I enjoyed the mozzarella sticks. The fish and chips were your standard bowling alley fish sticks, which I totally expected. Drinking pitchers and hanging with the boys was a great time. The bowling lanes were clean and the inside looked new. One of the lanes our group was playing on kept having technical difficulties. Our lane was good though.

The kids meals are all $5.00 and include fries, a drink and an ice cream treat. We ordered chili cheese fries and nachos for $3.50-$3.75 and the portions were good! Their food is definitely a great spot for Fort Irwin which is limited in selection. We usually bowl on Sundays, so I'm not sure about other deals but we do the $20 per lane for an hour for 4 bowlers with shoes included and then add on an additional hour for $10. The new system the bowling alley has is great -- if you don't want to play typical ten pin for scoring then you can do a fun Angry Bird version of the game. They have a jukebox now too if you want to pay to hear your jams, they just need to upgrade their sound system because if you have any songs with bass it'll sound like their speakers are about to blow up ;) On that note, workers are always great! Both bowling and food side. Bathrooms are extremely clean!

The meat also had an unusual color and was overly salty. Considering the amount of business they're likely getting from the Tesla charging station outside, I think they could really invest in improving the overall appearance of the place and, more importantly, the quality of the food. Maybe they don't feel the need to because so many customers are just passing through and they won't see them again, but in my opinion, there's definitely room for improvement.

We've only visited twice, but the customer service each time has been exceptional. I love how they've added more drinks to their menu, giving customers a large selection to choose from, even though it makes it tough to pick a drink since I'm an incredibly indecisive person. Out of all their pastries, I've only tried their donut and it tasted just like Dunkin's (someone mentioned they're Winchell Donuts, so that's good to know!). Their frappucinos are pretty good, I just wish they were a tad bit more flavorful and I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the cup they serve it in (just remember to grab a straw or it'll make it nearly impossible to drink it). What did stand out was the delicious strawberry whip cream in their Little Mermaid frappucino. I am, however, a new fan of their refreshers! I tried the Sunrise Refresher and it was so flavorful, sometimes refreshers are a hit and miss at places like Starbucks, but this one will keep me coming back for more. I've been craving plantation iced tea which is something we find back home in Hawai'i, but surprisingly difficult to find in California and Vegas, but that's what their sunrise refresher was close to tasting like. I want to try their cold brew drinks next. The store itself has lots of seating, an ATM inside, and just lots of Asian pop culture spread out throughout the store. They're open until 7pm which is great since a lot of other places (to include HBB) close early.

I do not like to drink a coffee that is doused with sugar and syrup that hides the actual coffee! The doughnuts were old though. Our second visit, was an improvement as the doughnuts were definitely "fresh" that day! Hubby got several to go which tasted great. The subsequent visit and doughnuts made up for the first visit's disappointment with all stale doughnuts. No savings when you buy half a dozen, so I was shocked at the "sticker price" after biting into what seemed like donuts that had been sitting out for a few days! Meh. This last visit was by far our favorite! They had filled the inside with artwork by local students from elementary to high school. And, I must say that there are some truly talented young artists out here! What a nice surprise to get a free donut for our kiddo during the Spring Carnival which was honoring military kids. (April is known as the Month of the Military Child.) We were lucky to grab a table for four and enjoy our coffee and donuts inside - out of the sun and heat. Their show of appreciation for the local community was heartwarming. I can't say the same about my beverage though. Unfortunately, I did not care for the refresher drink, the dragonfruit one - which was not available. Of course, that would be my luck. The alternative or suggested substitution sounded great, but I didn't care too much for it. He sold it well with the description. It tasted too sweet and looked like juice(s) with some crushed ice floating on the top half of it. I regretted that choice and wished I had ordered an iced coffee or just ice water! I'd definitely go back again and recommend their coffee drinks and doughnuts. We will be trying more baked goodies and their sandwiches as they become available as the perfect quick lunch! Rounding up to 4 stars as I want to give them the benefit of the doubt as a new business. I'm glad the community has another option for coffee & food. I believe in supporting them as they are still getting started with a new menu while striving to please their customers. The service was great every time!
